I moved to Saddle Ridge in May 2009 and lived there for 3 yrs. I moved in with a friend from 2012 to 2014. Then, I moved back into Saddle Ridge because the rent was reasonable, the staff was friendly, and it was close to my job. Great place to live!!

ok place.apartment flooded.fixed what they were obligated to fix. left a big hole in front of unit where my child plays 4 months! not cool. they just now shoved dirt into the hole. if u can afford better, get better. bring back Nicole(manager).

I lived here a few months ago in a one bedroom, the lay out of the apartment was awesome but parking sucked. Every time I tried to go to the leasing office to pay, ask questions or just to stop by, NO ONE was ever there :( and the pool is small.

I wish the gym was larger, there is no place to do aerobics, only enough space for the equipment. The club house is small with no common area to reserve for gatherings. Small pool too. The kids area is small too.

The water temp control knobs in the bathtubs are horrible and they can't / won't replace them. You either scald or freeze - mostly freeze. This is an issue I have to deal with 2x a day. If this wasn't such a daily on-going problem I would give Saddle Ridge 5 stars across the board.

I have lived at Saddleridge for nine years and am very happy here, we just recently had a new manager come onboard Bradley Barbour and he is doing an outstanding job recently I have had to call maintance and Bradley himself came to fix the problem on the first occassion it was afer 6:00 and Bradley came I am very impressed with the way he cares about the tenants. I just want to say he and Nicole are doing a fabulous job..

I lived in Saddle Ridge for one year and really loved it. My decision to move here was mostly motivated by the low rental costs (MUCH lower than others in the area) and the overall great reviews I found on this website. Having come from another apartment complex that I had a terrible time in, I found Saddle Ridge to be a beautiful, safe community that I felt right at home in. Parking was never an issue and the building I lived in was SO QUIET. I never once heard my neighbors or had any issues at all. The leasing staff (especially Nicole) are absolutely amazing. They will remember your name and take care of whatever you need. I did have a few maintenance issues during my stay but they were always taken care of quickly and efficiently. Overall, Ashburn is a great, safe place to live and Saddle Ridge will meet all your needs and end up costing you a lot less than other apartments. I recently moved to a much bigger, more expensive place in Fairfax and already miss my old home. Neighbors ranged from young adults to full families to older couples. Very diverse, friendly place to live. Not to mention it is about a 1-2 minute drive from route 7 (easy commute towards DC/ Reston) and 5 minutes from 28. There is shopping all around and less than 10 minutes from Dulles Town Center. This place is great and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to live in Ashburn.

I have lived at Saddle Ridge for a year. It is a very clean and quiet setting. The staff are wonderful. The little maintenance my apartment has required has been dealt with in a very timely and professional manner. The office staff, MaryAnne and Nicole, are very friendly and helpful. My apartment is spacious and comfortable. Saddle Ridge is conveniently located. I would really recommend living here.

I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying my home. Perhaps its a combination of things, but I just enjoy coming home now. I have a beautiful apartment home and things couldn't be better! Choosing this apartment was absolutely the right thing to do and I am very glad I live here. My neighbors are quiet. The complex is well maintained and I am proud to show off my home.

I LOVED living here....

I LOVED living here. It was my first apartment without roommates. It was a BARGAIN apartment with lots of room for the price!! I looked at other communities, and it was more expensive for a 1 bedroom/200 sq foot less... here I was able to afford a 2 bedroom for an office/guest bedroom! The area is more private with lots of mature trees around (vs staring at other peoples balconies). Would HIGHLY recommend this community to anyone!

I would just like to give a shout out to Mary Ann, Nicole and Adam!! They have been SO busy these last few months and recently Adam has been the only Maintenance guy. I had a little list of things I needed fixed and it was all done the same day!! Then, a few weeks later I had a toilet leak and I had company coming from out of town. Adam was here minutes after I reported it and had it fixed LONG before company came. I appreciate these quick fixes and I am amazed at how Adam keeps everything rolling along smoothly. All this aside, my interaction with the Saddle Ridge crew has always been awesome. They are personable and caring, as we all should be. Thanks Guys!!!

I have lived in this complex for approximately 2 years. I have found the staff to be friendly, professional, and reliable. The staff tries to accommodate each renter's need/repair as it surfaces within a timely manner. This complex is currently being remodeled by the owners as each apartment becomes vacant. The remodeled apartments are comfortable with an air of invitation to relax and enjoy the apartment. I do recommend this complex quite often to other people.

My husband & I moved in on July 2. We were impressed by the high rating here on Apartment Ratings and we were even more impressed when we met Nicole, Mary Ann and Adam in person. Our experience has been great. There were a few issues with the apartment when we first moved in, but each concern was corrected quickly and with a very friendly and caring attitude from the staff. Saddle Ridge Review

During my short time at Saddle Ridge, I've experienced the following: Spider infestation (at move in); Washer was not installed (at move in); Broken closet shelves in the closet (at move in); Unfinished bathroom and laundry room (at move in); Missing window screens (at move in); Leaking toilet that caused a pretty huge puddle; Roaches (yes roaches, and definitely the German ones!); Fumes leaking into my unit due to ongoing construction; Constant pounding of ceiling that would rattle the cupboards and doors due to kids above me running around all day beginning at 7am; Loud music from the neighbors next to me hosting parties with live bands (the noise essentially boils down to very thin walls); Lack of parking lot lighting (it's so dark at nights that you can't see 2 feet in front of you); Several electrical outages.... I could go on forever, but there's not enough time or space. After all of that comes the best part, the move out. I made sure everything was in its original condition at move out as I'm very conscientious about these kinds of things. Actually, it was better than original condition considering the unfinished unit they handed over to me. I've never been charged for any damages at previous apartments, and I've lived in quite a few. I was expecting the same with this move out, especially since I did a walkthrough with the property manager and she wrote down on my move out sheet that there were no damages so no charges. When I received my deposit, I found that I was charged for a broken stove door. I called the leasing office to get clarification on this since the property manager wrote down there would be no charges, and also I've been using the stove/oven problem free the entire time I was there. I was informed by the property manager that the walkthrough I did was not official. Ok fine, whatever. Clearly full disclosure is not a common business practice of theirs. Then she tells me that the door handle was broken, but she would call me back the next day to get specific details of the damage with pictures. Of course I never got that call back. It's pretty insulting to charge me for a "broken" stove door at move out considering the move in condition of my unit, which was absolutely unacceptable. And yes, I absolutely believe they were trying to "nickel and dime" me! My recommendation... save yourself the stressful hassle and look elsewhere.

April review

Normally I don't bother with reviews but last night the property manager showed up at my door to evaluate the work of an outside contractor that was called into paint and didn't do a professional job. Mary Ann really cares about her tenants she took charge of the situation, did a walk-thru and gave me so added attention to other needed upgrades to my home. Notice I call this my HOME. I have lived here since 2002, this is my home and I am happy to say that even thought the stuff may change, it just keeps getting better! Nicole, Adam and his assistant are fabulous! They are happy to assist with any of my request, they are friendly and always pleasant. I live alone and have a illness, Mary Ann is kind enough to check in on me from time to time, she recalls details of my life and that makes me feel secure living here at Saddleridge. She follows up on all complaints, whether it is noise or being snowed in with us on the property, she cares and it shows and it reflects on her staff as well, they are fabulous. I can't say enough nice things about them. It is hard to find an apartment complex that is affordable, clean, safe, has friendly service, offers, all appliances in your unit and great management! Thank you Mary Ann and staff for making me comfortable and safe in my house! You are like family, I trust you guys completely in my home, keep up the wonderful work. Even when I feel like I am being a nag about something gone wrong, you all make me feel that is nothing and that you are glad to hear from me! That is a caring and concerned team in my book.

I really like living in this complex. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the maintenance men Zolt and Adam, who have helped us with even the smallest of problems. It's very affordable for the area without being ------, which is great for our new family!

We love Saddle Ridge

Saddle Ridge apartments is the best property my husband and I have ever lived in. The office staff and mnts staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. The property and area around it is beautiful and clean. We just hope the rent dos'nt increase too much so we can continue to live here.

The best maintanence person i have encountered in many years ISOLT JAIMBOR,always available with a smile on his face,24-7!!!!! One of the reasons i stay,you can always count on him!!Altough i think the rent is to high for a one bedroom apartment and the parking conditions.This place needs a face lift!!!!

Best Apartment Complex I've lived in

Saddle Ridge is truly an awesome community to live in. The neighbors are friendly, the area is very safe and there's lots of common areas for kids to play, picnics, etc. Being in Ashburn, its very close to a number of stores, and walking areas, and very close to a little pond and gazebo that is nice to walk to. I am sad that we have to move, but unfortunately for commute/work issues we must. My husband actually took the time to write a letter to the management to say goodbye. Here's an excerpt of his letter, which says how we feel better than I can: "The management team deserves our thanks. We have lived at Saddle Ridge Apartments for nearly two years and you have made us feel most welcome. Saddle Ridge was truly home for us in that time. You never failed to greet us with a warm smile and the utmost courtesy when we came to the office. Aside from climbing three flights of stairs with groceries or a toddler, we enjoyed living here very much. Every time we needed something you took care of it promptly and enthusiastically. We are completely satisfied with your management and will happily recommend Saddle Ridge Apartments to friends and colleagues looking to move to Ashburn. Thank you both very much."

Great community and great staff

I have been here for almost three years. I have to first say that the staff is exceptional. I have had the usual things happen (lost my key, blown bulbs, etc...) and the staff went above and beyond to help. Not only did they help but they checked in with me to ensure all was well. I raise children in this neighborhood and safety has NEVER been a concern. Everyone in the complex is friendly and seems to look out for one another, as people should. This place has a great small town feel that has a perfect location to shopping and major highways. Would definitely recommend it.

Good experience

I lived there from 2010 to 2011. Overall good experience. Pros: Apartments are not very old, so its nice inside. Heating and cooling works well. W and D in every unit, and they are really big and nice ! Maintenance is good and prompt. Cons: Sometimes the trash is not taken every weekend; Floors are quite thin - can easily hear footsteps outside and upstairs. They do tend to increase the rent by AT-LEAST $100 every year (about a 15-20% increase). Gym is small - has only one treadmill.
