Wonderful
I have resided at Saddle Ridge since 2008. Management & staff have and continue to be very friendly, courteous, professional and gracious. Any repairs needed are usually taken care within 1-2 business days. Recently Bainbridge Management has purchased Saddle Ridge and they've begun upgrading the community grounds and the apt interiors. It is very possible I'll remain here until I purchase a home.

Nice place to call home.
I have lived at Saddle Ridge for over 5 years and have never had an issue with management staff or maintenance. Everyone has been very responsive, cordial and accommodating. Maintenance is in your apartment within 48 hours of a request and immediately upon and emergency request. Maintenance requests are followed up by management and any residual issues are addressed immediately. Rent is extremely competitive but the service is very comparable if not better that other apartments in the area. I would recommend making Saddle Ridge home to anyone, you will not regret it.

Nice Place to Live
I have been living here for almost a year and found the apartment too good to live, had no issues with management, maintenance or anything. Only thing that I would add is that the blinds and carpets are too old and dirty. Fitness room needs more space and equipment.

Very very bad Manager - Cunning
I lived here for more than 2 years. They are cut throat Money making management. Manager --------------- has a foxy personality. She acts & talks polite but screws the tenants. Other staff are good. They do maintenance work just as a show-off to make money by raising the rent. They disturb a lot with maintenance days together without proper attendance. They cut open house and leave it like that for days, weeks. Trash collection boxes are minimum and located only at once place in the whole apartment. Weekends will be stinking with trash. Centipedes trouble for First floor is never taken care by the Management. They never responded for it.

10 Years and Counting!
As a ten-year resident of Saddle Ridge Apartments in Ashburn, Va, I thought that it was time that I acknowledge the amazing staff. Mary Ann Gibson, the Property Manager, has been a great representative for your company, ALWAYS professional and ALWAYS there to assist the tenants in any way possible. Whether it be dealing with noisy neighbors, answering questions, and, when we had those horrid snowstorms last year, walking around to make sure the facility was not dangerous, and checking that we were all ok...we couldn't ask for anyone better in that position. Mary Ann, I salute you!! Nicole, thank you also for being there for us. These two ladies "get it", and know that apartment living is a difference experience than living in a house. They really go out of their way to address any questions that come up. The Maintenance Staff....thank you for working so hard to take care of all of us in a timely manner. It really is appreciated. Living here has been a pleasure, which is why I have been doing so for a decade. Thank you to everyone at Saddle Ridge that has been a part of that!

Just moved in last week. We were thrilled when we found the place, but since then the accounting dept has lost checks and didnt tell us for a month. The model had all new appliances but our apt has very, very old appliances that come complete with horrible noises. It was obvious that the apt wasnt looked over after the previous residents left because we moved in with several things broken. However, the management team is really nice and very helpful. Considering this is a cheaper apt in the area, I think you get what you pay for.

84 Percent?
It's not terrible but I have a hard time believing that 84% is totally legitimate. Our apartment was either previously rented by a serious slob or there was no attempt to clean the apartment between renters. Our kitchen cabinets went from streaky gray to creamy white with a simple wipe down after we moved in. Gross! Our toilets had some serious build-up beneath the rim that surprised and disgusted me on the first cleaning. Gross! The complex could possibly be fine, but our specific apartment was nasty and that initial shock lingers even after a good cleaning...besides that, black pet hairs painted into the bathroom wall were still there as a good reminder. Take your chances if you want to, but you'd better be pretty darn thorough on your walk-through before signing the lease. Oh yeah, dog poop must breed in the grass because it's more than abundant. In my opinion...the office staff seems perfectly nice, BUT they have got to be posting over half of these reviews on here. First of all, not many people would give any place a 5-rating, but somehow Saddle Ridge has plenty. Secondly, most of the responses on these reviews are done on the same day by "multiple" people...Right...this page gets that much traffic from residents who are always checking it to see what they can say to some complaining resident. And lastly, most of the great reviews site the manager and workers by name! I don't know their names, I'm sure most people here don't know and don't care what their names are. To me it just seems completely fishy that an average (if even) apartment complex would have such a ridiculously high approval rating when compared to other decent or excellent apartment complexes.

Excellent Place to Live
Overall, this is a great place to live. The apartments are well kept and clean. They are dog friendly and family friendly. The property manager is awesome and the office staff couldn't be nicer. The few times that we have had to call them, the maintenance staff have been very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to our requests. My fiance and I have been renting for 8 years now and this has got to be the best apartment community yet.

30 % increase after 1 year
I was never late with rent, never had an issue that brought me into the office. Never said a word. The move in special was $950.00 When I went to renew my lease it went up to $1300 for a lousy one bedroom. I was a quiet single person with no traffic. Old kitchen, old carpet, old old old...nasty outside entrances. I was new to the area and knew of no where else to go. I found a beautiful condo for the same 950. a month. Ha! They have no principles. I was a good tenant and they should wish for more like me.

MANAGEMENT EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS
We recently arrived for my gf's 6 month training in the area and so I began our housing research a few weeks earlier. After researching several apartment complexes (All the Camdens-Parc Dulles-Broadlands Van Metre) and even enlisting the assistance of a real estate leasing agent, I realized the following: 1- Camden sucks, period!! Everything about them from their call center to their leasing office and pricing. Where I come from, if somebody calls you wanting to close a deal on the spot then you DON'T tell them "somebody will get back to you" and then call them almost a week later!! They were a day late AND a dollar short. 2- Parc Dulles seems more like a nickle and dime scam to help empty your pockets. 3- The guy representing Van Metre (Saliq) preferred to communicate via text. Ineffective and obviously doesn't know how to "close" since I was the one who had to initially follow up with him. He called me a week later to follow up and I told him he was too late. 4- The real estate leasing agent (Will) was evidently still "wet behind the ears". I was very clear about our search criteria and lease terms so when he recommends a few listings but then tells us after we submit our applications the landlord will not consider a 6 month lease or pets, well, we quickly realized it was time to move on without his "assistance". 5- As a top producing Realtor in SF, I would consider working out here since my initial impression of the competition seems to be attractive to me. 6- This area is absolutely beautiful, offers a wide and delicious variety of ethnic restaurants, the grounds are well maintained and everybody from Lindsay, MaryAnne and Clint have been fantastic and highly professional. Call Saddle Ridge for a quote and a visit. You'll be glad you did. Thank you!!

S'alright
I've lived in Saddle Ridge for a year and a half. After the initial sticker shock wore off (it's a little pricey for being so far from the District), it's a pretty alright place to live. The maintenance and management staff are top notch - friendly, competent, and always available. My main beef, besides being stuck out in the burbs, is that the floors are very thin, but hey - it's an apartment. It happens. There's a grocery nearby (Harris Teeter), and easy access to Rt 7. It's also dog and cat friendly, and although some of the dog owners let their furry friends leave bombs on the sidewalk and in the grass from time to time (jerks), management has made it clear that anyone caught not cleaning up after their animal will be penalized. There is a pool, but because it's always full of kids, I've never had a chance to check it out. Final verdict: If it weren't so far out in the sticks, I'd probably renew.

I wanted to let you know that I think the maintenance team and management staff at Saddle Ridge are Awesome! I had a need with my apartment and as usual your maintenance team had it taken care of the same day! I realize that some repairs may need to take longer than others, due to needed parts, etc., but I am very pleased that the management and maintenance teams not only take care of it as soon as possible, but they keep me informed of the progress if it will take longer than one day. The genuine friendly, professional manner of your team is a blessing. I am very pleased to live in Saddle Ridge and I recommend you to others on a regular basis. Again - THANK YOU! Sincerely, Michelle Stuver 20042-104 P.S. Please share this with your upper management. I would like for them to be aware of your continual and consistent actions that keep the renters of Saddle Ridge comfortable!

Great Place To Live
I loved living at Saddle Ridge the only reason I left was because of family issues or I would have stayed forever. The staff was always pleasant, the property manager was available to hear concerns and always addressed tenant needs ASAP. The apartment was spacious and well maintained. Perhaps by some peoples standards (the prior poster) they were small, but I have been a renter for almost 25 years and have seen and lived in many property's and the space at Saddle Ridge is either equal or larger than most rentals available. Especially in the Ashburn area, which is one of the highest cost of living areas in the nation. For such a high cost of living area, Saddle Ridge is a great value for your dollar and the property management team are the best I have ever rented from. I highly recommend this apartment complex.

Meh
My friend and I are in the process of looking for apartments and we visited Saddle ridge. I was very pleased with the website but when I got to the place, I was a little disappointed with how small the apartments were. They seemed pretty cramped. That is not really a big deal but the lady that showed us around seemed a little bi*chy when she found out that we were looking at apartments and not actually planning on moving in untill the spring. Those are mhy only complaints, other than that, it is a good place, safe community. If the small size of the apartment doesn't bother you, I recommend it.

the real things you should know (BEWARE)
I have lived here for three years...I loved it the first year, the rest not so much. It has become a yard bomb haven for nasty neighbors who don't pick up after there dogs, water is thru the roof especially since they cant fill the place up. They wont take care of people littering on the other side (beware they only take care of the first two apts). They will not water the grounds if you live in units 1 and 3 so you get to look at garbage and dirt. They don't have a operational pool its GREEN and we pay for this ammenity. I am telling you this so you don't waste your money. If they cant keep these things running, seems to me they really cant run anything.

I have lived on this property for over 5 years and different managers and still enjoy my home. There are occassions mishaps with noisy neighbors and children, pet noise but that is normal in any environment. The staff as always be helpul and able to resolve household issues as they arise. The office team members are like old friends, happy to assist and eager to please.

A Family and Pet Friendly Environment
Saddle Ridge provides a lovely home for family and pet owners. Our family has resided here for over 3 years and have made many friends with our neighbors. The scenic grounds and plenty of play areas makes it perfect atmosphere for families and singles alike. The schools here are rated in the top ten for academic excellence. The community overall is warm and friendly. I proudly reccomend Saddle Ridge homes. You can always count on friendly professional treatment from the properties staff management team. We LOVE our home in Saddle Ridge!

Best Kept Secret
I've lived here for over 2 years and am very pleased. The office staff is very friendly' always speak to you and eager to make sure you are happy with your apartment. Maintenance is great although I've only had one or two issues my entire time here. They are also friendly and quick to respond. I think for one of the best deals around, you should consider Saddle Ridge. I am old school and like a friendly, laid-back, comfortable atmosphere and thats what you get here, to me anyways. Go to some of the other places around ashburn, you'll see the difference as soon as you walk through the door...

Lived There twice
I lived at Saddle ridge while working in the VA area (2 years over a 4 year period)- the location was convenient to Vienna - Falls Church area - the apartments were comfortable and clean As with any apartment there were a few minor problems but the staff was courteous, responsive and kept you informed. I looked at a number of other locations in the area and believed that Saddle Ridge offered the best value. Please note several of my co-workers also choose these apartments for the same reasons.

If you are on a budget, live here!!
I have to say that this place was a needle in a haystack. This apartment complex was not advertised on popular apartment search sites but I found it on Craigslist.com for under $1000 (1 bedroom). Of course, the renewal rent is a little over $1000 now but it is still much cheaper than the other surrounding apartments that are not as nice. In a Northern VA suburb with great public schools and very little criminal activity, what more could you ask for? Now, it is not a luxurious place to live but it is decent for the money located in a great area might I add!!! I also feel more comfortable living in a apartment complex that is more than 5 years old because I've been a victim of "CONDO CONVERSION"! It is not cute when you are forced to move everytime because you can not afford to purchase the unit or you are not ready to be a homeowner. Being that it is not a new complex, I've had my share of problems: -hot water heater leaks -a/c freezing and without a/c for a couple of days However, the problems were fixed and have not had any problems since. In addition, I believe that the complex should have more parking lights because at night it can be a little intimidating. Thus far, my neighbors have been very respectful and I've never been awaken out of my sleep because of loud noises. I do hope that my neighbors (current or new) will continue to respect me and vice versa. Personally, my neighbors are not very social neither am I but I like that because some people can be nosey at times (I come from a small town). Again, this is a decent place to live, reasonably priced and in a great location!!!

Nice, Quiet community
It is not the fanciest places but for the money, it is a great deal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Anytime I have had issues (not very often in the past two years) they respond quickly to resolve it.

Best Bang for the Buck!
I began looking for a apartment about 6 months ago. I've seen about 10 different buildings but when it came down to it.... Saddle Ridge was my winner. I've seen some other reviews and I'm surprised by those who have been disappointed. Off the bat I could tell they kept the grounds well groomed, no patches of dirt and a bunch of people loitering out front like some other experiences I had walking apartments in the same price range. The staff seemed friendly and willing to go the extra mile which I appreciated being I came right before office hours were over. I looked at a 2 BR and was impressed with the layout and I didn't get that "old apartment feel" I've been living here now for a couple months and I'm glad I made the right decision because I hate moving! :P Taking walks around Saddle Ridge in the evenings is great too. There is a Gazebo that sits on a beautiful pond not far from the apartments at all. Short of owning my own place, I really love it here.
