The office staff is super friendly and very helpful! They walked me through multiple processes to help me prepare for moving in. I love the apartment and I am pleasantly surprised at the amount of parking. The pet policy is fair and the community is well designed for people with pets. I am so happy we are here!

Great experience with move-in process. Apartment looked great but we wanted to change shelving format and maintenance crew and leasing office had no problem with it! Fantastic communication from leasing office throughout the process.

Spider crickets AKA Cave Crickets - pictures below. They were first seen on the walls of our bedroom, then in our living room, and then the last draw was seeing them in our kitchen on our food. One jumped from the wall and attacked my wife. The laundry room and boiler rooms are now called "nightmare rooms." After two years of pest control visits and attempts at correcting the situation by Tyson Glen's Maintenance team, my wife and I finally gave up hope. The spider crickets climb on the walls, they jump at you when threatened, and Management would still not let us break our lease. We have maintenance requests going back two years noting increased duress and urgency. Recently, my wife saw one run bypass (even though we have learned to place ten traps throughout at any given time) and scurry across the living room. She also went into the kitchen to cook dinner and when she returned to take food out of the oven, noticed one on the wall and it jumped at her. We almost destroyed the apartment killing that thing. When this was first brought to management, I literally walked into the office with a bag of spider cricket bodies in glue traps. Their only suggestion was that I move to a more expensive unit and pay my own moving costs. I was barely making rent as it was and could not afford an additional expense. Now, we are being forced to stay in our current lease and pay extra to move out. This is absolutely ridiculous. The inability to be flexible, or to even accommodate us to save us from this quality of life is something that we have contacted lawyers to discuss. It is simply inhumane and based on the high rent alone our lease shouldn't feel like a prison sentence. Going to bed is horrible, we do a 20-minute check for spider crickets and do our best to seal the doors. Midnight bathroom trips are a distant memory and good luck lying in bed when you think you felt or heard something crawling around you. Tysons Glen has a wonderful maintenance staff for everything else in their control. Whether it be an issue with a sink, lights, HVAC system or doorway, they are stellar in every regard. Obviously the location is also fantastic. The office staff was also friendly and supportive of the spider cricket issue even when management was not. The Pest Control teams they hire are disrespectful amateurs. Once, an Exterminator knocked on my bathroom door at 730AM while I was in the shower. Another time, an Exterminator simply dropped their card in our mailbox saying our house had been treated when our DropCam proved that he never even entered the premises. On three other occasions, we saw the Exterminators spend no more than three minutes looking around and "treating" the apartment. Jus awful and we have dozens of work orders over the years to prove that our cries for help were legitimate and continually went unanswered. Oh and we can also hear our upstairs neighbors couch, hiccup, and sneeze. ***Pictures attached. Links below so you won't have to take my word on these this. Feel free to DM me with any questions.***

The community has mostly been great. The property is well maintained and the landscaping is well kept. The office staff and maintenance staff are always friendly and prompt to respond to issues. My only complaint is the noise level. They have recently renovated units with hardwood (as opposed to carpeting) and I can now hear pretty much every sound in my neighbors unit.

It was a pretty pleasant experience. Made looking for apartments fairly easy and effortless. Will definitely use it again. Had almost all the information on the website I was looking for, which was a huge plus.

The apartments are nice but not all have yet to renovated. It is close to D.C. and a lot of other shopping centers. If you are a pet lover then this is most certainly the place to be. There are pets everywhere. They host a lot of events but most of them you'll only be able to attend if you are one of those that gets off work at a decent hour. Not a bad place to live but I do see many people moving out and in.

Generally great staff service. Management responds promptly and completes the requested tasks on time. No complaints yet. The only issue I had is that the apartment I toured differed from the one I moved into and no one told me it would be slightly different. I was not able to tour my exact unit before signing the lease. The unit I toured had an open kitchen to living room, with a small island countertop in the kitchen, but the unit I was placed in has a full wall where the island would be, which closes off the kitchen and makes it seem smaller. Also, the washer/dryer combo that I toured was near the bathroom towards the back of the apartment, but the one I was placed in had the washer/dryer combo in the kitchen, which is extremely loud and makes it hard to do anything when the laundry is being done.

Maintenance response is speedy and get it done the first time. Community grounds, trash cans are maintained clean. Each building is locked with a code, so feels safe. Neighbors are quiet even with families with little kids, you hardly ever be bothered by noise or distractions. Bldg is close to the busy streets, 495 and route 7; however, the noise has never been an issue. Office staff has recently changed for good. No more admin error horror which I am extremely happy about since that was my number one issue with this property.

Tysons Glen apartments has been a nice place to stay the last few years. We live in the sister community on the other side of the high school, but we still get access to all of the same amenities and have a gym of our own as well. The parking is somewhat limited in our portion of the community, but everything else has been fairly nice. The gym and pool are nice perks, the office staff is fairly responsive, and the area is fairly safe. Traffic is a bit busy on Leesburg Pike, but you can't hear it from our apartment (first building near the road but facing away from it). All in all we have enjoyed our stay in the apartment complex and it has been a reasonable price to help us save before buying a place of our own!

The usage areas of the houses are very nice. The residence is very regular and clean. Problems can be solved very easily. Peaceful and restful place. The most important thing for me was the school facilities. There is also no problem with neighbors.

Tyson's Glen Apartments location is great near to tyson's mall and R 495. There is a High School near to the complex if you have kids it will be easy for them to go to school by walk. It is safe and any time. I'm happy to live here.

Overall good experience, apartment complex has seen continuous improvements and maintenance requests are typically addressed promptly. Rent increase has also not been significant in the time we've been here.

Wonderful apartment staff. Almost all the apartments are more or like the same, but this community and the staff are different. That make a huge difference. I have seen 7 apartments so far in USA. Tysons Glen rocks in all of them.

The move-in process was easy, including signing the lease. However, the communication was very poor by the leasing office. Numerous times did I have to follow up on emails I had sent for questions. On one occasion, during a follow up via phone call, the leasing agent had commented that she did not even see my email. Another, when I went to pick up my keys, the same leasing agent did not remember me despite having seen me three days prior to sign my lease with her. Overall, it was not a unique experience and I felt as if the agent did not want to help.

The staff are very polite and professional. They were able to answer all of our questions about moving in, and worked to get us the lowest rate for our lease! The properties are beautiful, especially the newly renovated units, with new appliances and granite countertops. The only thing missing is overhead lighting; the addition of overhead lights would make these units ideal!
