I HAVE BEEN A RESIDENT HERE FOR 3 YEARS AND I WANT TO SAY THAT SINCE IMT HAS TAKEN OVER IT HAS BEEN A GREAT CHANGE SINCE GREYSTAR. THE OFFICE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY, THE MAINTENANCE STAFF IS JOHNNY ON THE SPOT. I SEE GREAT THINGS HAPPENING WITH THE PROPERTY AND I THINK THE THINGS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE IS THE MANAGER TINA. SHE IS TRYING TO CLEAN THIS PROPERTY UP AS IT HAS NEEDED IT FOR A WHILE. GREYSTAR NEVER CARED, IMT SEEMS AS IF THEY DO! I AM RECOMMENDING ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY HERE!

RUN FROM THIS PLACE! Since IMT took over this apartment complex i have not had one good experience when dealing with the leasing office and Management team. First a window brakes and i am forced to pay for the window when it was not my fault. Then i get a "pay in full or eviction notice" a week after the window was repaired if i didn't pay for the $300 windows repair at once, even tough i was told the repair would be on my months bill. Not due that week so I paid it. Next i get another "pay in full or eviction notice" for not paying $7 dollars for the window repair, even though i was told it was $300 not $307. Then got a notice to remove the window screens that there repairman left or i would get charged a fee. I let that pass and paid if off. I can go one about issues with locks, moving in without it being move in ready and more, but that will take all day. New issue is now that I'm trying to move out and provided notice a month and a weeks before my lease ends, I'm having large issues working with the office supervisor and manager Tina. I'm told "I must pay $2,200 or I will be went for collections" those are my only options for a 750sf one bedroom. This is even though this rate increase is nowhere to be found in the lease agreement, I have always paid my rent on time, and I agreed to work out a plan with them. This makes it so uncomfortable to think I am going to come home and get threatened with another notice or some sort. A friend living here has had similar issues. I asked her to post her issues as well.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Ever since IMT took over the place is going downhill and fast. IMT is the worst management I have ever seen and will be moving out as soon as my lease is up. I was planning on staying for quite a while because the apartments are relatively nice and the area is great but not anymore with how bad IMT is. There are plenty of other apartments right in the area and all over Denver.

I have lived here almost a year and wasn't certain if I would be renewing again. The property recently sold and has new management, IMT. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness of the grounds and the office. Then I noticed the customer service. The new staff actually stands up to greet you and sometimes they have even met me at the door. I'm assuming that this change is a result of the new manager. I've noticed that she is very detail oriented and wants the best for her residents. With her leadership, I will certainly be renewing. Welcome IMT. It's great to see the positive improvements. Here's to another year!

I have been living here for a year and a half and its been great considering other people have had the opposite experience. Neighbors are incredibly nice and friendly. Complex is clean and well maintained. I love how animal friednly this place is. My only worry is its starting to become unsafe at night and a few times peoples bikes have gotten stolen or the buildings have been vandalized.

Our apartment itself is fine aside from the possible impending waterfall in the bedroom. I find the lack of storage a little concerning. I moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment and there is less storage space. There is a huge lack of parking. I'm not sure what's going on but If I get home anytime after 7 I have to park on the other side of the complex or outside the gate. I think if people use a garage they should have to put a car in it. Not just use it for storage. The location is the best thing about these apartments.

I am generally pleased with this community. I live in a 3rd floor end apartment, and it is exceptionally quiet. The apartment is pleasant and sunny, although the layout is a bit different in that the kitchen is quite small (not much storage) and the bathroom is gigantic. Closet space is ample. The location is fantastic. Thankfully, don't seem to have bedbug or cockroach issues at this community, which is a huge plus. Overall, I am content here, didn't get an exorbitant rent increase at renewal, and hope to stay put at this community for awhile.

This is a great location, near downtown but with a suburban feel. The architecture is unique for this neighborhood, and it is, in my opinion, an awesome place to live! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a refreshing change from the run of the mill apartments in the surrounding area.

Very low quality apartments. Jen, the leasing agent is a poor leader for her staff as they are all giving different messages to the tenants. The facility is also eager to tow cars, even those who have resident stickers. Mine was towed because the sticker was on the wrong place on the mirror and the tow company was very very scummy. There are much nicer options in cherry creek for this amount of money. They are supposed to take out trash via 'valet trash service' 5 times a week. If they come 2 to 3 times in a week its a good week. Many times they leave it piled up at my door for 4 days at a time.

This is the worst apartment complex in all of Denver. The staff is absolutely horrible. As I was moving out they had a "temp" working who "lost" my signed document of the 60 day notice! So they made me pay an extra $1200 because of their temp!!!! Also I had black mold in my toilet from it clogging from a sheet of toilet paper! The maintenance came and scraped the mold off....... It soon came back! I have lived in multiple apartments in cherry creek and downtown Denver and never before was treated so poorly by staff or had to deal with such incompetence. Cherry creek is awesome the sonata is a nightmare.

The apartment complex is decent. The appearance of the apartments both inside and outside is good. If you are looking for something simple, and eye pleasing Sonata is the place to be. If you are seeking a quiet community DON'T move here! The noise transfer between neighbors is awful. If you are unfortunate enough to get a building near a dog you will hear that dog run around and bark all the time. The management team and maintenance team are pretty attentive until something major happens, like a flood.

The apartments are very nice and are in good condition, but the management here is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! I have pretty much nothing good to say about the management team here. They do NOT care about any of their tenants. The water in the building was out for 2 days and their solution was for us to buy water at the grocery store. Again, the water is turned off and nothing is offered to residence as an accommodation. This was unacceptable. We also had trouble opening a locked door, and when maintenance was requested they instead handed us a paper clip to try and jimmy the lock open ourselves. They are not understanding at all and will not accommodate anything for anyone. When you try and drop off rent, you better cross your fingers someone is there because they aren't a lot of times and they will charge you 60$ for it. Again, horrible management team! If you want to park here, good luck. There is no parking for guests unless they arrive before 4:30pm. Also they will tow the resident's cars with no warning at all and will think nothing of it. In addition to putting very large stickers on your window that will not come off. Some customer service there! Lastly, the grounds are not kept up at all. There is dog crap EVERYWHERE that will sit for weeks on end in addition to trash and debris. DO YOURSELF A GIANT FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

The leasing staff at Crescent is great at conflict resolution. We had a big neighbor issue and the staff solved it for everyone involved. The apartments are a fair price for their above-average quality, especially as compared to other apartments in the area.

Got a $60 late fee for rent although I attempted to drop off my check multiple times (nobody in the office, shocker!). Additionally, I attempted to pay online but the website was not working. Even though I have screen prints to support this claim, Carmen rudely told me (as a manager should) there is nothing they can do to waive it. They also towed my car recently from the parking lot due to the bad quality sticker falling off (another $250 expense). This place and the management are TERRIBLE and I regret signing a lease with them.

I've lived here since March 2014. I like it here because - people are quiet, respectful and friendly, space is good for the money, amenities and private garage space, very responsive to maintenance requests, location is great.

I've been at Sonata since May 2013, and it's a great place to live. The location is excellent; close to all that Denver has to offer without the rent costs associated with a "Denver" address. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the Cherry Creek is right across the street. The buildings grounds are reasonably modern, and the property was recently renovated and looks great. We have a upper level unit with no adjourning walls, so noise is not a problem. The staff is great. Maintenance issues and other requests are always handled promptly and the staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We've had one issues that was a bit beyond a normal maintenance request (a roof leak that ended up ruining a bedroom wall in our apartment. It was a pain to deal with and live through, but the Community Manager, Linda, was in constant communication and got us through the situation in as accommodating a manner as possible. These things happen and they're never pleasant, but after a little stress at the beginning, we were very please with how Linda and the team handled everything and got our apartment back to shape.

Hey, I really like it here. The "townhouse" apartments (2 bedrooms with master on floor above living room & 2nd bedroom) are great in terms of space arrangements. I love the look of the buildings (brick and stylish) The location is amazing (who else has a river right in front of their door?) Staff is very friendly and service requests are usually taken care of quickly. Only problem is that the AC was badly designed, making it hard to keep the upstairs bedroom cool enough (but with some experimentation, it's workable). Wish they would not allow smoking on the balconies as it wafts up from downstairs neighbor...but what does one expect from apartment living?! I'm surprised at the negative reviews. It looks like Management might have been much worse before it changed (right about when we moved in) If you can afford to buy a house: of course it's better and more private. But as far as apartments go: it's got the important things right. Almost been living here for 2 years and probably will stay. And the trash issue has been resolved. Trash & basic recycling is picked up right from our front door daily! How awesome is that?! And regarding the big messy trash pictures: That's more about residents: no one cuts up their big boxes before recycling and people continue to dump stuff when the container is full...and then they complain! I saw that at every apartment I've lived so far. Stop complaining and show some care...damn it! ;) Oh yeah, prices are going up way too fast. But again: show me a place in Denver where they are not...

My boyfriend and I just moved in and have had a really great experience so far. Brian and Jade from the leasing office were very pleasant to work with, and we have had an equally great experience with management (Linda). Maintenance has also been quick to respond to requests. Overall, we like our new apartment and are loving the area!! What you can expect: A great location, quiet living (we live on the third floor), and nice and helpful staff. Bull & Bush, a great pub & brewery, is right next door as well -- not a bad deal!! Rating: The only reason I gave this place an overall rating of 4 stars instead of 5 is because the parking lot fills up fast and it can be difficult to find a spot in the apartment lot after 4-5 pm on weekdays. Fortunately, if you don't mind a little bit of a walk there is also street parking on the sides of the building. Garages are also available to rent for a reasonable price for those interested.

The Location was fantastic. location, location, location! The front office team was very hospitable. It changed management while we lived there, which did not really affect us. Parking was much better than when we lived downtown! I loved living next to Bull and Bush! Again, I really appreciated the willingness the office staff went to accommodate all my needs. Thanks Lyndia and your Team

Lived here for 3 years out of convenience, and recently moved out, and would absolutely NOT recommend this place to anyone. The new management does not care about its tenants, the property is poorly maintained (busted gates, crappy workout room, etc.), and the apartments are cheaply done (don't let the models fool you.) They will also do anything in their power to get more money out of you. Avoid at all costs if you can.

Management changed shortly after I signed the lease. Units are not built well, quality is poor, was hit with a 13% rent increase for a 13 month lease and it goes up from there. Service requests not addressed in a timely manner. Location is the biggest plus for the complex. Minimal visitor parking; they're ruthless about towing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and will be moving out shortly.

Do you like noise and parking far away from your apartment? Then you'll love Crescent at Cherry Creek. The noise 24/7 from the unit above me was unbelievable. It was like someone was running a crossfit gym or had a bowling alley installed. The college-age neighbors next to me liked to fight and scream in the hallways threw parties that lasted until 5am. The response by apartment staff was "Call the police. We don't get involved in tenant disputes." Sometimes people who didn't have permits would park in the lot and there would not be a single spot in the whole complex. I'd have to park in a parking lot across the street and walk back to the complex. The management sent me a bill for the last month of rent, even though I had already paid. I had to call the corporate office to get it resolved. Overall- you'd be better off spending $200 more somewhere else.

I moved in about seven months ago and I love it! Linda and Krista have been nothing but great! Linda and Krista are very kind and very helpful with everything! They made my move in fast and stress free. In my apartment I have never heard my neighbors. My apartment has a lot of storage space and huge walk in closet. The location is great! Everything is walking distance from you.I would recommend living here!
