Dont move here until the doors are actually operational! Management does not care about the residents at all. No security on site either. My family does not feel safe at all given these circumstances. Modern next door has all working amenities and solid security team on site. I would definitely recommend moving there before trying this almost luxury building.

So far it’s been great! The halls are clean, it’s not loud, there’s a 7/11 attached which is convenient. My packages always come on time right to my door. The neighbors are friendly, the staff are amazing! The location is so close to everything (metro, a multitude of bus stops, two 7/11, Walmart, etc.) and the rent is superrrr reasonable for all of this. Great first apartment

Apartment hasn’t been what I expected at all. I wasn’t expecting a unit to have roaches in it from the day I moved in. I was expecting something more luxury and a better community and staff members for the expensive price I’m paying. My experience has been bad. I really wish I would’ve cancelled my lease and gone to another community.

Overall, I enjoy my experience at the community. I like the staff and maintenance. I love my apartment. I wish sometimes it was a little quieter during work hours because I work from home and the landscaping maintenance can be very loud. Additionally, there is usually people smoking in the staircase which I don’t like. But overall, my experience has been pretty good.

I would only recommend this apartment if you want to live near a metro, other than that, I would not recommend that any of my friends live here. The management was unprofessional, we had homeless people living in our building the past two years, I had my trash can stolen from outside of my door/unit, and the side door (the door that was right across my unit) was constantly broken...leaving our building open to any and everyone. Also, at one point, several cars in the apartment parking lot were broken into (mine being one of them) and the apartment didn't provide any of us with the video surveillance footage to potentially send to police and catch the criminal. I did not enjoy living at this apartment for the past two and half years and I would not recommend it to anyone close to me.

I do genuinely enjoy living in this community. They came in clutch at the last minute, so I only did a virtual tour, but they answered all of our questions, and stood up to what they showed us. It is convenient, aside from the hill if you're a walker, and pretty mellow. There aren't a lot of restaurants to eat nearby, so if you want to eat out, you may need to order or drive somewhere, but that isn't too bad either.

I like living at the aventine as a college student. Ot is convenient and safe. The staff is very professional and are always willing to help the residents. At night times it can be a bit noisy but its nothing unbearable

I heavily discourage anyone from moving into this apartment building. To start with, these buildings are very poorly kept. The floors, stairwells, and elevators are often dirty. I have brought this to the staff's attention several times, repeatedly getting the excuse that there are not enough custodians. Please note that this has gone on for the last seven months, and with the rent price, they are more than capable of providing better services. There are signs all over the building asking residents to wear a mask, although it seems like some of the staff are unable to follow their own protocols. Not only that but some of the team at the front desk and on the phone are disrespectful and provide inferior services. One of the most concerning flaws of this complex is the state of its security. There only being one security guard who only patrols at night. People frequently loiter in the buildings and sleep on the floors. I would recommend individuals avoid this complex as there are much better apartments in the same price range.

The apartment is at a great location with amazing amenities such a gym, outdoor pool, pool table, ATM, and an outdoor grill. It is easily accessible to the Fort Totten metro station. it is located within a walking distance of grocery stores

There have been issues with fire alarms going off in the middle of the night for weeks off and on. The first four months I lived here (in 2020)we had no issues with that. Ever since February 2021 fire alarms have gone off randomly.

Only been here a few weeks but lovely neighbors is my initial reaction. Things like this survey are frankly I little bit annoying or how many times it took to get the right version of our lease sent to us. Its great that you have dog poop bags and trash bins around thats very smart but noticing not everyone cleans up after their dogs so that isnt ideal.

My overall experience with Aventine has been pretty amazing. I have had a couple of inconveniences, but Nates the property manager has made sure that my overall concerns were taken care of. I really feel like being here and being a part of this community is really a family. The employees at the rental office are super helpful, always professional and nice, and they are always on top of every concern.

I moved out at the end of May 2021. At the beginning of July I had to go there to pick up a package that had been sent there that they claimed they could not forward to my forwarding address which was a lie because they had forwarded my mail prior. When I was there to get the package I asked when I should expect my deposit to be returned. They took my information and said a manager would call me because the staff in office don't have access to that information. Days went by with no call. I had to call them multiple times until I finally got a response. They told me that they had sent my deposit to my previous address because they did not have my forwarding address. Again, this was a lie because I had provided it through an online form I got when I was moving out, I had provided it over the phone when they called about my mail, and I had to write it down by hand on a form I completed when I had my final walkthrough and returned my keys. When I asked what they meant by my "previous address" they explained that they had sent the check to themselves but that they could not find it in the office... On June 22nd they let me know that the initial check that was sent had been cancelled and that a new one would be issued the following week. I still have not received anything from them. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived for many reasons beyond this, but this is a perfect example of how things go anytime you need something done. As a resident you will be constantly inconvenienced and there will be no urgency in fixing it. The actual office staff is as helpful as they can be, but for some reason they have no access to information and cannot do anything themselves. Everything has to be escalated to the incompetent team of managers who almost never call you back and can't do anything right when you do get in contact with them.

I don’t recommend the apartment complex to anyone. I’ve recently moved in and I’ve had countless problems in my short stay. To start off with the building is filthy! The first day I moved in I saw used contraception in the bottom of the garage stairs. I’ve seen cigarette buds around the apartment and people just leave there trash laying around. There is little to no security in this building and on a few occasions I’ve seen homeless people sleeping in the lobby. I’ve called the customer support number provided on numerous occasions and they’ve been no help. I’ve gotten countless excuses on why the building is in the state that’s in with no solutions. I would also like to add that for the last month there has been an alarm going off in the lobby and although I’ve reported it no action has been taken.

Living in this apartment complex has been good so far. Although, smoke entering apartment from downstairs neighbors is an issue. It typically comes from underneath the kitchen sink. Nothing can be done unless you can prove where it's coming from which is unfortunate.
