I do not like these apartments. They may look nice on the outside but they are old with many issues inside. Mold, roaches and the dishwasher is a joke. Also, when I first moved here they said the rent was a certain price, when I got my first bill they added so many other things like waste water that my bill is far from what they said it would be. There are two bedroom with washer/dryer apartments close to these that are the same price I am paying for a one bedroom. I cannot wait to move out of here, I will soon. These are the worst apartments I have ever stayed at, and I have lived in California and Texas and now here, so that says a lot.

    Its not beeen good. If you are coming from another state doonot rent here you will not get what they show you. If you are in state beware if you hav issues in yourr unit maint keeps no parts on hand. The back gate don't work so they are not a gateed co.

      The outside looks better with new paint, but the apartments need upgrades. The dishwasher the water is smelly, plates don't come out clean. There's a mold problem behind the kitchen cabinets. The Sinks get clogged often. AC upstairs drips.

        before somebody moves in the wall should be painted and to make sure everything is daddy in the home because again the lighting fixture over the stove fell on my mom. the paint got all over the apartment the wall not even look right. we just don't like to bother nobody we stay to our selves.

          Moved into community in 2010 - upgraded to 2/2 in 2014. The buildings are wonderfully laid out! It has a "resort" feel to it! Lots of trees and lovely manicured landscaping! The office staff is Great! Conveniently located to all areas of Pinellas County,including Tampa, close to shopping, restaurants and beaches.

            Overall, it seems like a nice community. It's quiet and people mostly keep to themselves. There have been a few stranger instances, but nothing to crazy. For the most part, the maintenance staff is easy to talk to and pretty quick at requests

              Overall - I've lived here for 8 years. Overall it's been good. Upgrades - The appliances, cabinetry, carpet, and bathroom in my apartment are quite old and needs to be replaced. Noise - Soundproofing for the ceiling/floor needs significant improvement, not good at all. Sidewall soundproofing is very good; I never hear a thing coming from my side neighbors. Neighbors - Some of the upstairs neighbors over the years have been questionable, making lots of noise walking, dropping things on the floor, playing music extremely loud, throwing parties with people yelling and screaming outside, barking dogs all night. Very rude.

                I like the apartment, but just moved in and already have 2 maintenance emergencies. That is a little discouraging. The closet shelves broke. Water came in from the rain outside, and the toilet water flooded the bathroom, hallway, and dining room. A little frustrating, but maintenance seems to be handling things so far.

                  I have been very happy with this apartment complex. The management team is very friendly and helpful. Cody and Chuck stands out the most. They both are very friendly and helpful. Cody did a great job getting us into the apartment and Chuck does a great job taking care of the apartments.

                    From the methadone clinic a block away. To the rape crisis center around the corner. That should tell you what kind of area this is! The maint has 2 nice guys the rest are pathetic. Rude beyond belief! The apartment they gave me was a dump! Ancient appliances! old faded carpet. They say they have lakes LOL they have parking lot runoff ponds that are disgusting! And they turned off the fountains which makes the nasty water even worse!

                      I love where I am right now...quite and peaceful environment in our building..but there are some instances I've observed in the parking lot for residence wherein occupied by non residence(meaning without sticker at all) Well, it's somewhere in 6550 I building....just concerned for others though....

                        Well here we go... Its very sad when I have to look at a green pond, the office says they are working on it also it use to have fountains that worked. The gate system is a mess it looks like someone drove through the exit gate. But on a good note the office team is great!!!

                          I am a current tenant and has been for the last 6 months. Since I've been an tenant here at The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments its been a struggle with dealing with the management team here. They are very rude, unprofessional, harsh, and not willing to communicate with tenants. They have already forced on tenant in the apartment across from me into trying to commit suicide due to harassment from the management staff. The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments charges you a $125 late fee if rent isn't paid after the 3rd of the month and you can still run the risk of being evicted by the 4th of the month. They also have so many hidden fees that they don't tell you about until after you sign your lease. The apartment are gated but anyone can access the apartments due to the gate is always broken. The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments are bug and flea infested and has a very bad mold problems. These are a few of the many problems I'm dealing with after only being here 6 months. The management team has a major problem with communicating within their staff. They have no clue of how to deal with the tenant and how to treat tenants with respect at the same time. I moved all the way from Nashville, Tn. to Clearwater to find myself in an unhappy and uncomfortable place here at The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments. This has been a very bad experience for me and several other tenants that I have talked too here. If you are reading this and feel as if I'm another tenant that mad for no reason and just venting. Just check the turn over rate for The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments and you will find yourself looking elsewhere to live. I've been staying in The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments for 6 months and can tell you that I 've seen more people move out then I've seen at a open house giving out free food. This place is not what they are listing it to be. Everything that I've stated is the true about The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments and I have no reason to lie. I have no personal gain from this and it's not putting money in my pockets. This is just on of the many truths about The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments that I feel any future tenants should know before moving into these apartments being blind sided by the location, layout, and features. Those are the only three things I enjoyed about living in The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments. So I say to any future tenants to please research this property before moving in and read the reviews before making a final decision. And by the way if you are in the neighborhood stop by The Reserve At Clearwater Apartments and check out building T and others and you will see what I saw and everything else would speak for itself.

                            was a resident for years and NEVER ONCE DID THEY ADDRESS THE BLACK MOLD ISSUE that was so bad it even surrounded the windows. THE ROACHES have infested building H (south) There are hazards all around the community, with holes dug and not refilled. I AM NOT THE PERSON THAT LEFT THE EARLIER NEGATIVE REVIEW but as my mother was dying of cancer I was her caregiver and I could not believe the conditions or that they would allow anyone to actually live there. BEWARE!!! They also allow felons to live on their property even though they claim that they do not.

                                I've been here almost a year. Its quiet, kept up and had plenty of things to do . Management is friendly and cares for their tenants.                                   So far so good (or better!) One thing; you need to be careful about parking cars without apartment id stickers on them in the visitor's area only! If not they will get towed! I had a buddy bring my Jeep in from Ohio and thought if I back it in (at 11:30 PM) on Sunday night that I would be ok...not...towed. A few weeks ago another friend came down from Ohio with a few things for me to unload into my apartment. We unloaded, had a seat for 10 minutes, went to move his car to "Visitors Area" and it was already gone...at 3:30 PM...afternoon???

                                          My short seven month stay at this complex was horrible. From the second day of moving in we were greeted by roaches. The exterminator came to spray a few days later but they were there again after 3 days of being sprayed. The apartment was infested with roaches. The next problem was the mold. Although we did kept the AC on during the summer months that did not prevent the mold from building up. By the "winter" the mold was just ridiculous. The mold was all over, in every corner it could find. I noticed the mold on my clothes when I came to wear them. The closets were filled with mold. I had to throw some shoes away because of the mold build up. I had to wash all the clothes in the closets over. When I called management to investigate the mold, they asked me to clear out the closets for them to repaint. Last time I checked, repainting would not fix a mold problem if it was evident that the source was in the walls of this old building. Apparently, I was living in mold for months and did not realize how bad it was till we decided to move out. The mold was hidden behind the bed, the chest of drawers and night stand where we could not see until we moved the furniture. The walls were just green. I took lots of pictures to show. We had trouble breathing due to the mold build up. I'm so glad to be out of that mess. On the upside, the neighbors seemed nice. The management team was professional.

                                            The experience overall has been pretty good, the neighbors are friendly, pool sharing has always been positive. The stripers coming through the fence near my building with all of their clients was not very pleasant, but now the fence has been repaired. I was disappointed to find out that if I wanted to upgrade to a larger apt I would have to pay another deposit, which makes no sense when I have put a deposit down. Also not getting your pet deposit back if there are no damages, seems like a harsh payment, kids cause more damage then animals most of the time and people arent charged for their children.

In regards to the transferring apartments, we require a deposit on the new apartment however your deposit on the old apartment is fully refundable. They are in two separate apartments so we handle them as two separate accounts. Additionally, our community charges a one-time pet fee if you wish to have a dog or cat in your apartment, this is a non-refundable upfront charge.                                                 This was the first time I have had any concerns with the office staff. I felt brushed off by the first person I spoke with. When I contacted the Community Director 3 days after my first request, she immediately handled the situation. I appreciate that. I like the work that is being done on the complex at this time, makes property look better. Would like to see some work done in the apartment. After 3 years some cosmetic work could be completed.

                                                  I am sorry to hear of all the issues you're having and would like to address all of your concerns, because this is an anonymous post I am unable to address specific parts of this however I would like for you to contact me so we can discuss this further. We currently run on a preventative maintenance schedule for pressure washing buildings, although we have 42 separate buildings if there is a specific issue with yours we will gladly adjust our schedule to get it taken care of. Our grounds are walked daily and picked up by our full time porter, if there is an area we have missed I would like to know as well. We screen every applicant in accordance to our qualifying standards and allow anyone who qualifies to live here. If you would like a copy of those I will be more than happy to provide it.
