    dissatisfied. The grounds...

    dissatisfied. The grounds are terrible. Beer cans, trash, the parking lot floods, dog poop everywhere, broken limbs of trees not cleaned up. Stickers on people's door, patios and balconies used like storage with car parts and trash. Office doesn't seem to care whether or not GOOD people stay or leave. The ponds are a disgrace! trash in them. There is virtually no weed eating and trimming done. The grounds look terrible.

      I am happy with my experience,...

      I am happy with my experience, thus far. My only complaint is my neighbor who walks his very large dog without a leash, and also has been seen throwing a liquor bottle into the pond while having an argument with his house mate. I do not like seeing some balconies and lanais being used as storage areas. I was told this is checked regularly.

          I have had an amazing...

          I have had an amazing experience. I moved from the Midwest and the staff have bent over backwards to help me. The grounds are immaculately kept and it has been the best move I have ever made.

                This place is the worst rental I have been in since college.431 units and two trash dumpsters. 400 people per dumpster if two people live in each apt. It is maggot infested, over flowing and smelly. They management is nasty and pushy. They don't show you the unit you will live in , they show you a great looking place. My air conditioner was broken, and the numerous times it was to be fixed, sent my electric bill up. They offered $250 for the electric which was well over $400by the time the unit was replaced. The kitchen is old and has cheap appliances that don't work well. The dishwasher is the worst. The washer and dryer age cloths quickly, as they must be dries twice. The lint in the apt. after laundry is all over the furniture. I can hear my neighbors shower and walk the floors. My back porch is considered part of the square footage, but is unusable. It floods right up to the doorway every time it rains. If you live downstairs, your neighbors look right into your windows. Keep looking, this place is a nightmare.

                  This place SUCKS! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! We have Roaches! They can't get rid of them. There is no storage. The floors are paper thin. The neighbors are inconsiderate of the others living around them. There are a bunch of stray cats, or cats who have owners that don't care, running around trying to get in your house and meowing at your door to be fed. The gates are always open. Largo PD is ALWAYS here. The laminate floor is pealing up and has rips in it and from the 1970's. The carpet is soooo cheap, it looks like I have been living here for 5 years and I have steam cleaned it three times and vacuum all the time. It is also coming up from the floor and it was BRAND new when we moved in less than a year ago. The A/C unit is so old that the master bedroom is consistently hotter that the rest of the house. Because the system is so old it can't even cool all the rooms even if you close a bunch of vents in other rooms. Do you think they will replace it so I do not have astronomical electric bills??? There is a CHEAP ceiling fan (replaced it with my own fan and will put theirs back up when I leave) in the guest bedroom but no fan in the master bedroom. This makes no sense! All the ceiling fans are so cheap you can't even run them on high for fear they will come toppling down on you. Maintenance has attempted (if that is what you call it) to fix the fan and the closet. The closet doors are CONSTANTLY coming off the tracks and they make a REALLY loud metal to metal scraping noise. So loud, that I will not open them in the mornings because of the floors being so thin. I do not want to wake anyone below me. This place is not worth the rent! MAYBE...it's worth $600 a month. EVERYTHING in these apartments needs to be upgraded in order for them to justify this rent.

                    The community looks nice....

                    The community looks nice. Its located near several places I use. Its not the easiest to get into sometimes depending on the direction I'm coming but that's only a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of it all. The building look well kept and so far my neighbors are friendly and courteous.

                      This place has been up and down. When we moved in we were told about a club house and grill in that back of the complex. We have been here over a year and have had to relocate several family functions because the club house is "under construction" but there hasn't been a change to it since we got here, also there is no grill A lot of homeless people sleep outside the back pool area at night. They hide towards the doors of the closed off club house so you can only see them if you physically walk into the back pool area. They have also broken into the gym and broken the door. They worst thing I saw was that a homeless man propped the weightlifting machine against the door and slept in there. Needless to say I will never go to the gym in the evening time. We had a car towed because of property maintenance issues which they tried to blame us for and laughed that I was trying to bring in pictures of the parking in front of my building. The lines were faded in some places and bold in others with the barricades all twisted, some twisted completely vertically into the parking space. It took me eight hours to get the car back and that was with the help of the new manager. Her name is either Susie or Karen. She and Cody have been the only helpful staff members all the others make you feel like a bug that they want to squash. One of them greets me with an "Oh, it's you" every time I need help with a maintenance problem ( which happens frequently and has to be done more than once). Be prepared to paint your own apartment and at your own expense because when we moved here it felt and smelled like straight unfinished walls and mud. When I asked them about it they told me to request touch up paint to paint over any scuffs and that they all were painted like this and never heard a complaint. Needless to say I had to invest in my own paint and paint the place myself because any furniture touching the walls left bold black scuff marks. There were paintbucket stains on the carpet where they had painted before we got here and the dishwasher couldn't even open due to the cabinet doors hanging loosely in front of the washer. So yes the apartment building is nice and so are the people who live here but pray to God that you don't have a problem or have to deal with the staff because they are sugary sweet at first and then treat you like an annoyance once you get in. If you do choose to stay here try talking to Cody or the new female supervisor because they are the only ones who give a hoot.

                        Because this post is anonymous it is hard for me to go into full detail with you regarding some of the issues you have stated so I invite you to stop by the office to meet with me personally to go into further detail. We do have community grills located by the volleyball courts for now and we are looking into the option of adding more by the pools as we enhance our amenity areas. Our clubhouse at the front has just been remodeled and we now offer a full coffee bar, fitness center with free weights, and a business center for resident use. The additional building we have on the community does offer just a secondary fitness center with extended hours. We just completed resurfacing the entire parking lot and roads of the community. They restriped and removed any broken wheel stops so this will hopefully help with any parking confusion for you going forward. All of our apartments are completely repainted at every move. We use two different types of paint; flat and semi-gloss. You probably noticed scuffing from your furniture on the flat paint which is extremely common and why we always offer touch up paint when needed. As a manager I have the responsibility to enforce the rules set forth in the lease which sometimes people don't agree with. I'm sorry that we didn't get off to a great start when you moved in and would love to know how we are doing for you now. We are aware that the ponds have been empty over the past few weeks, they are all fed from a well which also feeds our irrigation. When we were seal coating the property we had to turn the wells off until the job was completed however as you may have noticed over the past few days the ponds are filling back up. Within the next week they should all be full and just like in the pictures!

                          The Reserve at Clearwater is a large but quiet community and the grounds are kept clear of litter. The pools are always clean. The property is well lit at night and the office staff are pleasant. We have had no problems getting maintenance requests done quickly.

                            Sometimes loud music from personal vehicles late at night. I also get solicitors,that I don't want (gated community?). Lost money in the washing machine and the carcare center. Other than that no problems with Maintenance or staff.

                                I have had to kill several...

                                I have had to kill several roaches upon move-in. I've been sleeping and woke up out of my sleep to spiders crawling on my face. I have been bitten several times, not until after killing over 6 did I stop blaming the marks appearing on skin care issues. I have a lot of issue within my bathroom. Bad paint jobs, paint buckling, fixtures are very defective. It's 2:16 AM as I write this and I can't sleep leading into a very business day of working which is the support that pays the high rent that I must pay to live with roaches (BIG AT THAT). All of which has been sending me in panic seeing as I have a fear for bugs. I'm totally discussed at the fact of never had growing of with such pest to have to be forced to live with them paying such high rent, for what was suppose to be an upgraded apartment! I'm just discussed and really not liking pay such high rent for an apartment which seem to be over come by roaches! I have killed over a dozen. I have the sole of my shoe to prove it. I have several products which are very expensive to replace all of which I have to trash because roaches have crawled over them! My toothbrush cost over 40$ I have to buy a new one best I saw a roach on my bathroom sink crawling on it, beyond dissatisfied!

                                    The Reserve is conveniently...

                                    The Reserve is conveniently located between Clearwater and St. Petersburg while still being a short drive to Tampa. The community is well maintained, and the service of the maintenance staff is top-notch. I have submitted an emergency maintenance request on a Saturday evening and had a response within 20 minutes and the issue resolved within the hour. The staff is very friendly and the recently renovated apartments are well maintained and cozy with a few very well-appointed updates which would generally cost up to twice as much at other complexes (trust me, I compared them with at least 10 of other complexes within a 10 minute driving distance before I settled here!).

                                                Other than not being able to access my apartment when the sprinklers are on, close calls when drivers are speeding in through the "exit only" gate, and the scooter that sounds like an airplane taking off at 5 in the morning, this complex is fairly adequate.
