I have been in my apartment for a month now, and I must say I am very pleased with the Staff, community, maintenance and overall. This by far the first apartment that I have moved into that is well maintenance. I would recommend to friends.....

There are too many flights of stairs especially considering when you're moving in and there being no elevator in sight! There are trash bins at every apartment but trash and nasty stains all over the corridors, it's nasty. Some staff were very nice the rest of them were somewhat judgmental and rude.

Since we have moved in we have had continuous trouble getting maintenance work orders resolved, they are often closed out when the issue is not complete, we are told there is no problem when there is one. You have to pester and hound staff and management in order to get your problem resolved.

Never have I been so disappointed with a place of residence, or been so offended by such rude staff. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We have lived here for over a year and there has been one maintenance issue after another. The AC has failed multiple times, leaving us with no AC often for weeks at a time. The office staffers do not care or don't know. They don't want to be bothered. Not to mention the maintenance staff that close out work orders without even addressing the issue. When they do come they cannot communicate effectively and that is if they say anything at all. You have to constantly pester the office staff to get your issue resolved, they do not follow up on anything. The maintenance work is unreliable. Staff here is rude, unprofessional and have no empathy. They just care that an apartment has been filled.

The couple of issues I have had living here, is I got a notice on my door about smoking in my apartment when, I do not smoke nor does anyone in my house. The office did fail to do an investigation before putting notice on my door. Another issue is the way one of my neighbor parks his car, and his wife car...they take up two parking spots, and just park like a five year old with no driving skills...it is very irritating, otherwise the community is quiet, and I barely hear my neighbors

Maintenance is horrible. We went months without an A/C and then weeks and weeks without a washing machine. There is drug activity in our building, which we reported and no one did anything about. The entire building smelled of marijuana all the time. I did not allow my children to walk outside because of it. The smell radiated into the apartment. Someone vandalized my mother's car a few weeks ago.It is always loud around the pool area late at night and the smell of marijuana is overwhelming.

Bennett Creek is a really nice, beautiful, neighborhood friendly, quiet, safe, community!! I would buy my unit if this was a condo complex. I love my apartment and the awesome view, and I really love to be home!! Professional staff and courteous neighbors!!*****

Bennett Creek has been nothing but great! We love the space and location here. It's great for our small and growing family. It's safe, it's quiet, and it has a lot of perks to living here. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great community. Very nice staff and good maintenance. Just have to repair the gate and car wash area. The ofi e has to talk with the residents about their dogs and clean the areas because smell very bad.

Don't let the pictures fool you and don't go by what you see at the office. Parking lot and walkway lighting not working. There are walkways, especially behind buildings 9, 10 & 11, that are extremely dark at night due to missing lights. This is a safety and security hazard for residents walking pets at night. at The walkway connecting the front of the complex to the back, near front pond, that is down to just one dim light. Very unsafe. There are no lights at the rear of the front office area by pond. Holes in parking lots and driveway areas. These are deep and can damage residents cars. They are invisible when it rains and they fill with water. Dog feces is an ongoing problem and has continued to get worse. Many residents have MUCH larger dogs than the rules allow. We were told of the 21 pound maximum when we moved in over a year ago. Some of the dogs are over 100 lbs now and many of their owners do not pick up after them. Grass, sidewalks, doesn't seem to matter. Kids play with waste disposal bags and they are spread everywhere. Feces is a HEALTH HAZARD to all residents and those, like us, who pick up after their pets are at the snapping point with it. Raw sewage runs across the sidewalks and into the parking lot all day and night in front of Building 9. Another HEALTH HAZARD to report. The front office area and immediate surrounding buildings are kept clean and well lit. Buildings past the mail station in the back are unkept and become progressively worse. The natural assumption is that these are not part of the "show me" facade that is maintained for potential residents up front. Front gates of this "gated community" are always broken and left wide open. This is an ongoing security issue. The fountain in the "back pond" behind buildings 9, 10 and 11 has not worked since we've been here. Stagnant water in the pond breeds mosquitoes that are unbearable in the evening. Another HEALTH HAZARD. If you like the smell of marijuana smoke, this is the place to be. Sometimes it is so strong that it enters the HVAC systems of our apartment and is almost always present in outside hallways. I don't care what others do as long as it does not intrude on my family. Not the case here. Building maintenance personnel are undoubtedly overwhelmed. I am a facilities manager myself however but I bring in outside contractors if necessary to keep up with life safety and security issues. This also gives me the necessary City/County contacts to report these issues as a next step. Rent goes up every year and the condition of the complex goes down. I renewed at 7 months only this time as we intend to flee the complex as soon as we can. Best of luck to future renters.

I was pleased to have found this hidden gem. However, once living her I have realized that the location isn't a fit for my family nor is the price for the community the property is located. The overall apartments are fairly up to date, but limited space.

Very nice community friendly staff beautiful amenities and facilities, five stars for maintenance. The only problems I have is the thinness of the walls and the upstairs floors sounding so hollow even when walking lightly.

As everyone else has stated, the gate is never working so they should not advertise it as gated. Also, parking sucks. If you are not home early you will have to park over a block away. Nothing is regulated so people smoke at the pool where I attempted to take my daughter. The apartment is nice, although the market rent is high for those of us that do not meet the low income requirement to have a reduced rate. Paying a mortgage pretty much for no real safety and no real parking sounds like highway robbery to me.

Apartments are very cozy. I enjoy the gym and laying out by the beautiful pool. Maintenance is always prompt and courteous whenever issues arise. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone searching.

Most of the staff are friendly. The apartments themselves are okay. They have old appliances that are kind of annoying to use and break frequently. Nobody cleans up after their pets. Also, the gated community it advertises is a lie. It's never closed.

It has been pretty good. I had neighbors upstairs that played loud music late but each time I called, the courtesy officer came out to take care of it. I wish they didn't allow smoking at the pool. I've had to take my daughter home for that reason. More recently whoever painted the stairwell outside of my apartment put a banana peel and three water bottles in my trash bin outside of my apartment. It's still there. I guess nothing major, just a few irritations.

Very nice place to stay in the Jacksonville area, prime location close to shopping and eatery and just minutes from the beach area. Nice and affordable apartments homes and the plus is that the TownCenter is up the road which is an added plus!

It's a nice place with great amenities. The only problem is that there are lots of roaches in the apartment. Maintenance has been called but has not fixed the problem. Also it is a gated community but the gates don't work.

My experience has only gotten better and better with My stay here. The staff is Great. The property is maitained beautifully. Neighbors are nice and friendly. The community functions which include food are nice. It's in a Great location, like a little hidden gem tucked away, then you come upon it and it's like, Wowww... I would definitely recommend residency at this apartment complex.

Very nice and clean community to live at. It's a quiet community. The pool is beautiful and clean all the time. The staff in the office are kind and professional. The only negative things I have to say are: 1) The gate almost never works. Stays open all the time when it's supposed to close at 7pm. 2) No online rent payments.
