Well kept grounds. Exceptional maintenance service. Very helpful office staff. Great neighbors, no problems. Excellent amenities too, including the pool, tennis courts and club house. They even have a theater. I also appreciate the location of the community. It's close to all the services I need.

We are very pro actively and patiently trying to resolve an issue with Bennett Creek Apartments. After five messages we are still waiting to be contacted by the regional manager. It is leaving us no choice except to obtain legal council. Please return our phone messages so that we can resolve our problem professionally.

It's a great place, have everything I need. The apartment is clean, neat, and well-designed. Nothing really to complain. By the way, this place is pet friendly which makes it really convenient for those dog and cat people.

Awesome Community to live in. This property was thought through from the amenities to the home layouts. Everyday is a Joy to come Home and relax with the best possible view from our third story balcony water and trees....Simply Beautiful!!!

Management and maintenance staff are incompetent and dishonest. The apartment manager is dishonest and incompetent. She has no real people skills. She is a insincere, pretentious, and deceitful person. She will lie to protect her job!!

This was the first community we toured when looking for our new apartment. We left knowing this was going to be where we lived. All other communities just didn't measure up like Bennett Creek did. We have already suggested this community to our friends who are looking for a new place to live.

If you were to come tour the property right now or any given weekend... The gate is broken, ALWAYS, takes unreasonable amount of time to fix, ALWAYS. People show up from where ever and beg you to open up the pool gate, puts you in an awkward unsafe position There is no outside nice music on covering the amenities area (used to be) There are maybe a handful of lounge chairs at the pool The pool is dirty The waterfall in the pool is never on There are unsupervised Kids at the pool There are people drinking alcohol at the pool (not allowed) There are glass bottles around the pool area (not allowed) The hot tub is broken One of the gates to pool area is broken There is a group of --------- that think they own the place having another party in the pool/screened area (not allowed) happens every weekend You are only supposed to have 2 guests using amenities per apartment (not enforced) There is Loud music playing in the screen room for a party, complete with balloons, coolers, and lots of boos (not allowed) There is animal feces EVERYWHERE There are barking dog issues and the weight limit ARE NOT ENFORCED, there is no way these people brought documentation their dog is under 35 pounds! Supposed to be 2 pet limit (not enforced) People smoking weed and arguing/fighting in parking lot. No benches in Park area to watch your kids Staff and monitor for the amenities DOES NOTHING TO ENFORCE THE CLEARLY POSTED RULES AND TERMS OF THE LEASE People Park on curbs, in handicap spots, blocking garages...routine problem, not enforced, never seen one vehicle towed for these violations, so people do whatever they want. The good people have brought all of these concerns to management and there has been no resolution. Good people keep leaving and the bad people are multiplying. Come see for yourself. The gates are always open...walk around, observe, talk to some residents. Bring your towel and just ask to be let in the pool gate by one of the kids cursing at the pool or one of the drunks...they will let you in. You may want to bring a chair though...

Excellent community, staff, and apartment complex as a whole! This place has a great gym and a beautiful pool area with outdoor grills. I love the pool table, the pool, and the Jacuzzi! Beautiful upkeep of the entire place! You could not ask for a better property manager! She is the best!

I initially toured the property in or about November 2015 as a prospective May 2016 tenant. While the leasing office is striking, the staff member came across cold, detached, and was not interested in "selling" the property. Pressing beyond the "first impression", the unit and property amenities were impressive. However, the Bennett Creek staff was highly inefficient. More specifically, on March 29, 2016, an application was submitted with all applicable fees. Of note, I disclosed that I had a son with special needs and requested a 1st floor unit. On March 31, 2016, I called and spoke with the assistant manager about the status of my application and she affirmed it has been approved. She stated a written confirmation (welcome letter with particulars) was forthcoming - but never received. On April 15, 2016, I was advised a unit would not be available by my targeted move in May 2016. That same day, I requested the "holding fee" be returned. As of my writing this review, the holding fee has not been returned; despite several proactive phone calls and left messages. The property does look amazing though. Good luck! Apartments are nice no doubt but Management sucks!!!!! I recently moved from one apartment to another within the same complex , After moving to the new apartment i received a Collection notice saying i need to pay 457 dollars even tho i never received an actual bill from the complex . I tried talking to Manager there , Very rude and doesnt care about anyone but herself !!! Tried to tell me she sent me certified mail bill with all the charges on it which i never got or signed for ? Turned it over to collection agency within 2 weeks without even trying to get in touch with me first !! When i walk in to the office to show them collection paper they saidd oooo its 6:02 we close at 6 come back Monday !! Veryyy bad management stay awayyy !!! My washer and dryer that i pay for monthly had been broken for 2 months now they come and say oo its working fine ... They are quick to charge you 457 dollars for some small carpet stains and a toilet paper holder that was never installed properly to begin with but when you need s*** fixed they dont care !! Once again bad management stay awayy they dont care about you !! I will also be calling corporate cuz need i remind you my credit score is excellent and you gonna send some bill that i never received to a collection agency ???

I really want to love this community it's close to work, entertainment, and in centralized location. However the appearance once you enter into the building is horrible. My neighbors constantly place more trash outside then what is able to fit in the trash holder. The excess bags are ripped at night by animals, leading to trash scattered across the breezeway. The same contents are left for days. I have mentioned it to the office staff and they state that someone cleans the property daily. Could you request the grounds keeper visit building 5? I have personally place my trash in a tied bag in the container, however when the trash is picked up some of the trash is left behind. We are in Florida and the temperature is rising so this is causing flies and nets around the trash bin and my front door. Tonight when I walked up there is currently a bucket of liquid waste outside atop a trash container with bugs flying around. I have a newborn baby and I would prefer she not be subjected to these living conditions. I really wanted to renew my lease here, moving is such a hassle....but for over $1,200 monthly I feel there should be better conditions. If I paid half elsewhere there shouldn't be trash and bugs at my front door.

Overall the apartments are beautiful and the people at the front office is friendly. The neighborhood is friendly and is located in the center around all the major attractions. THE MAINTENANCE IS TERRIBLE.

The manager Summer has been the best with us, always available to listen and help how she can. The community has been well kept and still looks new. It has always felt safe and fun for the families living here. Living here is like living in a resort.

Ever since we moved in, it has been a very pleasant experience/stay for us. The staff is very friendly, professional, and courteous and the maintenance crew is very fast and through. The only recommendation I can give is to have the front gate guarded because of all the non-residents who tailgate when the security gate is opened at night.

Unfortunately there is always an issue with the front gate its never consistently working, its unreliable. There is easy access to the pool for non residents and the process in place (wristbands for residents) isnt reinforced, maintenance to the pool and spa needs to be better also

Overall satisfied. Noise level very high for apartments near the gate. apartment complex offers free tennis lessons which is nice. overall facility is well maintained and clean. nice gym facility and pool area. parking can be an issue at time.

My air conditioner stopped working completely. I called maintenance to come out and fix it, and he was there no later than 15 minutes after I placed the call on a Sunday. It did not take him long to complete the job. He was very prompt and I have no complaints.

The staff is friendly and helpful but the community as a whole is awful. The gate is never working and we pay too much for it to not do so. Also, when the gate is inoperable, we are lied to about the reason being. I wouldn't recommend this complex.

I've resided at Bennett Creek for a total of 3years until recently this Jan 2015. I would have to agree and disagree with many of the reviews already posted. The community is fairly new and nice, space inside actual units is wonderful. I had countless problems with my dishwasher and garbage disposal working and it took many attempts to even have someone come out and then when they came out the reasoning was due to the water here in Jacksonville and I would need to turn on and run the garbage disposal daily. I've never stayed anywhere in Jacksonville where I've had to run my garbage disposal everyday for it to work and not affect my dishwasher backing up and not draining. When you enter into the Leasing Office I truly understand that sometimes they are servicing someone else and thats fine but there are other times when they arent servicing anyone else and you must wait while they do in fact handle personal issues, very unprofessional. I can say that the property manager Summer does give answers and is somewhat helpful but getting in contact and reaching her is like pulling teeth, almost impossible and stressful. Since I've resided there I've constantly had neighbors placing things in my trash receptacle, and my answer from the leasing office was that I'd have to take it out and place in trash bag for it to be picked up. Now I' sorry if I'm wrong and dont feel its my responsibility to pull someone elses alcohol bottles and dirty wet towels out of my trash receptacle because of lack of not knowing what I'm sticking my hands into. You'd think that the trash people could just dump the receptacle but no they leave the trash in the receptacle and just take whatever bag is in there. I was informed I could buy a new receptacle for $50, why am I buying a receptacle for someone elses filth. I should have been given another one, but oh wait no cameras so we cant say who's doing it if we could then we'd charge them a $50 fee. Real smart. Very unprofessional and huge lack of customer service. My rent never changed while there as far as increasing when I renewed my lease. But I do believe the Customer Service should be improved regarding how they handle resident complaints/issues. The amenities were nice, although didnt spend much time there so can't tell you how often they worked or didnt. As long as I've been there the gate MAY have been working a total of 4weeks and thats being generous. I feel as though you don't advertise as a gated community and you cant satisfy being a gated community, again unprofessional. AT&T being the only option besides Satellite for TV should be something working towards to change because their pricing fluctuates so much and service is horrible, but hey the only option for TV, internet and phone. Needless to say I enjoyed much of my stay as a resident there at Bennett Creek but did decide to move because of the issues I had with the customer service and lack of things working. When you move into an apartment complex its not always going to be everything you desire you learn what you will and wont compromise with.

I have lived here for two years and the condition of the apartment community has been on a steady decline. I have had several issues with repairs which were done that I had to call back a few days later to have fixed again. I have had my car vandalized twice in a so-called gated community which I was told by management is apparently only to control population and not for the safety of the residents. With all the rent they charge you would think they would have some type of security measures or cameras in the community. If you are looking for safety do not come here because all you will be told is that they are not responsible and you should file a police report and you have to pay out of your pocket or have your insurance cover it. My car was vandalized on a night where the lights in our hallway was not working (it was pitch black outside) quite convenient for the culprit who vandalized my car. Had the lights worked this could possibly have been avoided. I cannot wait for this lease to be up so I can move the F* out of the apartment community. If you want safety for your family or peace of mind that your property won't be destroyed stolen or vandalized I suggest finding another community to live in.

the AC took two days to fix, even though I just moved in. I it obvious that the apt was NOT checked prior to turning over the keys. I have asked for the blinds to get fixed for two weeks or more. still not fixed. I got tired of waiting for the shower curtain rod to be installed so I purchased one a installed it myself. the dryer is not connected tot he venting hose. and I was never told of the limitation of this property or I would not have signed the lease. I was never told that I could not have comcast, even though I told ------ that I worked from home and required a fast and reliable internet connection. At&t U-verse sucks.

This community offers good amenities and they are very well maintained overall. They solve promptly any problem that you may encounter. The manager is very courteous and approachable. Apartments are comfortable and well equipped. A really good value in an affordable price.
