Its a good community. The only problem is that we can hear everything from the stairs and the apartment upstairs. Its really bothering when you try to sleep. The administrative and maintenance staff are excellent. You should improve the recycle program.

Overall, we are satisfied with our time here at Hawthorne Village. We like the fact that we have our own entrance, which makes it feel less like were living in an apartment and gives more semblance of privacy and making the front door our own feel.

As stated above. The maintenance team is always prompt on requests. I do wish the community had a recycling program established to maintain a cleaner community and world. Security of doors on apartments would use double security measures other than a deadbolt. Key fob system.

Lived there for 5 years. Started out great. Then it started going downhill the last couple years. We moved from a 2nd floor 3br to a 1rst floor 3br the last 2 years. That was a huge mistake. The apartment had serious mold issues. The AC was never installed correctly causing moisture and cold air to build/leak in closet with the air handler/water heater. Mold spots would keep showing up on our AC vents and walls. They would send the wonder crew to just paint over the spots with Kilz and leave. We all kept getting sick and having respiratory issues. We had to run 4 air purifiers 24/7. Thankfully we got our house and moved out 3 months before our lease was up and just kept paying the rent. The the place is filled with drug dealers and weirdos. Look up the recent drug deal gone bad shooting last month in the news. I could continue on and write a book about this place. I would not recommend it. If you care about your health and safety find another place.

From driving into this beautiful gated community to walking through the front door of my apartment home, Hawthorne Village feels more like a home than an apartment and we love the entire experience. The interior is beautifully finished and the layout lends to the feel of spaciousness and openness that we love. The grounds are well-maintained and pretty. There is so much to love about living here at Hawthorne Village!

I have lived in Hawthorne village For two months and I love it here. The grounds are always well kept and it is quiet and a very nice place to live. I have been very pleasantly surprised at how quickly maintenance response to work orders and they come in and do a great job and clean up after themselves. All the staff Members are courteous and I never have any problems with the management. This is a great place to live!

Hawthorne Village Apartments is a great place to live in. Clean and quiet apartment complex, secure and safe, nice neighbors, pet friendly and friendly staffs. About 10 minutes - 15minutes always from the beach.

I am very happy with the community and neighbors that we have here. The staff and the maintenance aurary friendly and get things done in a timely manner. Excellent experience, I love the community. Everyone is very professional and they are willing to assist you with anything. Maintance are also very professional and quickly to respond. Diana, Jessica and Maria Ochoa are very sweet and professional. I wont change any one, everyone is amazing and super nice. I love Hawthorne Village.

As far as the maintenance team, they are all extremely courteous, and correspond immediately upon my calling the office. My gripe lies with the office staff. From the beginning, complete truths have not been told to us by the office. We were told there was full carpeting in the apt., only to see flooring upon our arrival. I had to GIVE my area rug away in Arizona, due to this incorrect information, thus had to spend additional money, which we don't have, on a new area rug. We should have been called and told that they put down flooring instead of leaving the carpeting. Also, we were told that there was iron fencing around the lake (having a small dog, we were concerned about alligators), but never told that there was an extra huge opening, which is right on the side of our apt. We were also told that the lake was cleaned and tested for alligators, etc., every month by a professional. Well we have been here going on 3 months, and not once have we seen anyone attend to the lake. I called the other day to say that the lake needs cleaning, for it is disgusting with all the debris and oil floating on it. Was told she will give the request to someone that works during the week, for she has no access to the matter. When I reported clumps of dirt around our apt. sidewalk, we were advised that it probably is an armadillo digging. This animal could be dangerous, plus they can pass leprosy to humans. When I asked if a castor oil solution (I looked up about how to treat an area that has armadillos near it) could be put around our area, to deter this animal, I was told that this is wildlife, and they cannot touch them, which I can understand. What I did not like was the comeback of being told, they are in their habitat, and they were here before us. I told her while this is true, they do not pay rent, we do. I asked several times for stones to be put in the area near our front door, for all that dirt and mud can be brought into our apt., no matter how careful we are. They never fulfilled our request. I see many other apts. that do have stones around the area I was referring to, and I know they did not do this themselves. In addition, we were told by maintenance that the floors in the kitchen area are purposely sloped to avoid flooding. I never in my life have heard of such an absurd explanation. Just to let you know, I was a rental agent/secretary for 8 years at an apt. complex in New Jersey, so I am very familiar with the right way of handling various situations. We are very disappointed to say the least in this apt., which needs a big update to its kitchens and bathrooms, as well as the way the office runs the complex requests, etc. ******BTW, could not put 2021 in as my current to time at this apt. complex.******

Safe ,quiet ,staff are nice, location is great . Building is sturdy and had withstand many hurricanes, clean and ground is well maintained . Rent is reasonable , Always fast to fix problems in the apartment . . Only problem is there is no designated parking space , so I have to walk farther from my apartment at times because other apartments renters has guests parking near my apartment..

Living here made me realized that I rather rent a house, having people on top of your apartment is not the best experience. They should consider putting more layers between the rug and the floors, it sounds like elephants are walking.

The apartments are very spacious and I have always enjoyed the amenities and love how close it is to things to do, stores, restaurants, etc. the only thing that I wish the apartment had was balconies for the upstairs units. And walls are pretty thin I lived upstairs and it is still a lot of noise.

I have enjoyed living at Hawkthorne . The staff is friendly and helpful with all needs. The yards are always clean . The complex is safe and quite. I would refer family and friends to live here. The pool is clean was well as the fitness center.
