It's a quiet community, clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I found everything walking distance to what I'm looking for entertainment and transportation. It's just a few minor things that wasn't fix but very minor.

      It was rough with communication in the beginning but it has definitely improved with that and with engagement with the tenants in these last couple months. The trash disposal of maintenance has improved as well but I think it's a collective goal to get this resolved.

        I really like the community, family life and all. Our apartments are very nice and convenient to so many places downtown. Staff is very nice and the ground keeper are personable as well. Pet friendly and the kids seem to enjoy all that is offered.

          Nice property, fees and rent not as advertised & you get treated poorly.

          I am updating my review because the property management team could not deliver! The property is nice clean and appeared to be affordable, is a quite area outside of downtown but the fees and rent are not as advertised, you have to go to the Leasing Manager if you would like to speak to someone professional and not want to be treated poorly by staff. I am an out of state applicant who paid all applicable application fees and was waiting to be approved to sign a lease and move in on 06/02/25. Not once was I notified of any maintanence issues. I followed up, followed up email and phone and thought I was on track to sign a lease and move in only to be told on 05/30/25, Friday before my Monday signing and the lease pick up date that there is no power in the unit and once there is power, it could take maintanence up to 10 days to get the apartment ready. What an awful thing to do to a prospective applicant that lives out if state. I applied on 05/20/25 and was told during my tour with the leasing agent that seemed annoyed by me asking questions about the property that they could accommodate my move in date. I received no updates only to be told by the annoyed Leasing Agent the Friday before my Monday move in date that my apartment was not going to be ready. I had to complain and go to the Leasing Manager who is OOTO and the Leasing Agent then told me that she was only notified on Thursday that the apartment was not going to be ready. I applied based on the premise that I was goimg to sign a lease on 06/02/25. I asked for a refund of my application fees and the Leasing Agent said that they are non refundable. I applied so I can move in on 06/02/25 and you tell me that I cannot move in due to power issues and maintanence issues until the Friday before my move in date that I cannot sign a lease and move on Monday and it may take up to 10 days for the apartment to be ready, no fault on my end but you are not going to refund me my application fees. How wrong is that! I live over 4 hours away out of state looking forward to moving into a new city, new apartment and starting a new job, have my move under way but I have no place to live. And, you are not going to refund me my application, administrative and guarantor application fees that I paid to dign a lease and move in on the date i told you I needed to move in since the 05/20/25. Dishonest and complete lack of regard to a prospective applicant/tenant. The property (Capitol Gateway) owes me a refund.

            I had a OK experience, but it was OK and I will find my friends today's company is a real nice community it's quiet at night just all those stairs is convenient by the train station to school right here that my daughter go to. I'm happy right now.

              Great experience, no problems. Everything was seamless. Neighbors quiet. Upkeep great. Maintenance is responsive. No crime issues. I would move back here again. Front office is responsive. I can't think of anything else to share.

                This apartment takes excessively long to get into. The process comes off as very unprofessional. They have to work on pest control. And work on amenities in the complex. But so far the experience has been long and hopefully with time we'll see if it's worth it.

                  It was OK? Staff could be better.Cama Kamara Was awesome. She showed us around the property. She also showed us an apartment. Although she had a couple at her desk? She still found time to acknowledge and show us around. The Agent at the other desk looked as if she didn't want to be bothered. She was eating her food and looked annoyed that we walked in.

                    This property is troublesome. Management changes frequently and has caused confusion amongst residents. Management lost my lease and penalized me for their shortcomings. Security is poor. Essentially no security gates work. The unhoused population frequently sleep, defecate, and urinate in the hallways.

                      I like the area and the community but the only thing I don't like is the car break ins. I've heard through a few residents that their cars were broken into a lot in this area.Im really big on safety??

                          GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

                          I have been living here for two years, and have experienced two different apartment units. All I can say is DO NOT MOVE HERE. Trust that you will find somewhere better, I doubt it'll be hard. I had to transfer apartments after finding out that my unit was roach infested after living there for a year. I took a LOT of back and forth with former office members that were basically gaslighting me into thinking it was that bad and that "most apartments" in Atlanta have roaches. The pest control they have does not fumigate, so I had to do it myself (with no luck). I now live in a different unit/courtyard (less roaches but still some) and I cannot wait to leave this place. Speaking of office employees, the people that work here changes almost every time I step foot in the office. When you ask for someone that you were working with on something, it's always: "Sorry they don't work here anymore." If you don't check in on an issue you're having at least once a week, they will forget about you until you come back. On top of roaches, I have not gotten my mailbox key after almost half a year of transferring apartments. The mailboxes for this courtyard to broken and half of them open without a key. They keep saying they will replace them, but have not. No one who works for this place cares about anything. They take advantage of people that are elderly and Section 8 who will not complain because they are just happy to have a place to stay. People literally dump all of their crap in the parking lots when they leave, dumpsters overflow. Gates for the parking lots never work, they are always open and random people just drive in to do drug deals, or park and get booted. AVOID THIS PLACE, you deserve better.

                            It's peaceful but my refrigerator had been infested with bugs since I moved in here every time I open the door there's small dead roaches and it had a leak coming from somewhere. Also I've been trying to get the right mailbox for the first two months of moving in now that I have the right mailbox I can't get a mailbox key!

                                My experience has been pleasant. It's in a great school district, I barely even know I have neighbors bc everyone is so quiet & to themselves (which I love). The staff is hard to get in touch with over the phone but honestly, that would be my only complaint.

                                  It took me 3 hours to get my lease signs I still haven't received a copy of my lease I have major issues in my apartment I have a brand new dishwasher in my apartment in a garbage disposal that's not hooked up I have major issues with plugs on the wall some of the plugs on the wall in the kitchen on the same side of the dishwasher and the garbage disposal do not work

                                    The experience at this is not bad. There a few things that can be improved. Maintenance is a problem there have been several instances where management never came, but said they did. No one ever followed up.

                                      Value for the property is located. A lot of conveniences being downtown. Now the rent has increase at least $70 every year since I been here. With exception of during Covid. However I think with those increases, we should have working gates a better fitness facility, and not basic project white appliances and Formica countertops.

                                        Overall the community isn't so bad but there are definitely some things that could be improved. Starting with the office staff! The complex could also improve the amenities. The inside could definitely use some renovation and an upgrade to the house hold appliances.

                                            I regret to say that my experience at this apartment complex has been overwhelmingly negative. The hallways are consistently dirty, creating an unpleasant living environment. The front gate has been broken for the entirety of my stay here, compromising security. Additionally, homeless individuals often camp under the stairs, leading to safety concerns. Despite maintaining a clean household, I have struggled with a persistent termite infestation year after year. What's worse, there is no reliable emergency contact available on weekends to address urgent issues like this. Recently, my car was stolen from the premises due to the perpetually open gate, and I was unable to obtain footage to aid in its recovery. To top it off, the rent increases annually while the quality of living steadily declines. It's disheartening to realize that in this case, you truly do get what you pay for, and unfortunately, it's not much.

                                              you definitely get what you pay for. Everything in the unit is super cheap. things always break but I am thankful to have a place to live. Also if you don't care about safety this is a great place to live... there is no sense of security what so ever. People hangout in the parking lot in non designated areas.

                                                Starting off the leasing agent was kind , there were a lot of errors in the papaerwork which caused a long delay . I wouldn't recommend this property simply because it doesn't seem like anyone cares especially after your money is taken

                                                It has a good location and price, but the staff is not super helpful or communicative. I did not get my move in letter until the day of and had to scramble to get renters insurance and power. If I had not lived there before, I would not have known about valet trash. They did not show me where the mailboxes were, and I did not know that my specific unit did not have a washer and dryer. The upkeep could be better.
