Really bad- terrible maintenance, awful office. Was "scammed" out of money and threatened with eviction even though we payed rent on time and had receipts to prove it. Do not move here. Didn't have air conditioning for a month in the summer because of their negligence.

My experience was awesome when AA into Capitol Gateway. I love how clean the community is. It is very well maintained. This is a great location......close to everything! And the view is AWESOME! I made the right decision by choosing Capitol Gateway as my home.

I visited this community a few days ago and I was very impressed. The staff members that I came in contact with were all nice. The model that I seen was nice and clean. There was no trash on the ground and it was quiet. I have not made a decision where I want to live but Capitol Gateway is on the top of my list.

Community is like a big family. Love the atmosphere and vibe. Tenants respect each other and there are hardly any problems on the property. The leasing office staff is very courteous and they go out of their way to help tenants with any issues or concerns they may have.

Capitol Gateway is a great place to live if you have a family. They have a lot of activities for the family to enjoy at the leasing office. I wish we had more security being that it's a lot of kids in the neighborhood but other than that no major complaints.

I love the community. It is in a great central location near major highways and Marta. The neighborhood offers a variety of social outings and eateries and the community is clean and quiet. The apartments are well kept and spacious. I LOVE my new place...it is definitely my LAST stop before purchasing my own home!

Capitol Gateway is a very good place to live. The distance to the downtown area and the incentives of being close to shopping, local stores, markets, restaurants, and sporting events as well as near the interstate makes it ideal for a single person or small family. A few attention grabbers would be the turn around time in having small repairs done i.e. leaky roofs or simple requests.

My experience at this community has been a great one! The staff are friendly, the apartments are kept up & it's centrally located! However, there is a lag on maintenance requests. Overall, I would highly recommend this community to anyone.

My apartment was not clean at the move in date. We had dog fur everywhere in the carpets and my wife is allergic. So, we had a really hard time for four days until they finally replaced the carpets. It not only harmed my family health, but also gave us a lot of work since we had to move all our stuff back and forth again. Also, deafening noise from a broken AC is bothering us for 10 days and my requests have been ignored. Interestingly, there are thousands of dollars in fees for renters who don't comply with the contractual terms, but the management team does not compensate renters when they fail to comply with their duties. And believe me, they fail since the very first day. I'm looking forward to moving out and it has been only 9 days that I moved in. Just cannot tolerate dishonesty.

I just moved in on July 4th. So far I love it. Eric James was by far the best person to make my first move in a great experience. Only thing I've had an issue with is, someone switched out my trash can and left trash that was stink with bugs, in the one they gave me which could of gotten me penalized because trash bins have to be back in apartments at a certain time. Not sure who would pull a stunt like that, but there's that one everywhere you go. However, Eric James handled the situation and got me a new trash can the same day.

A community including an office that doesn't care, with residents who also don't care to clean up after themselves. Took multiple calls and weeks of waiting for a leak to be checked. No one besides the property manager herself did anything to make sure I was handled in a professional manner.

Do not , I repeat , do not move here unless you're completely desperate. The appliances never work, I've lived here for a year, my AC and heat have gone out over 10 time. My refrigerator and stove have stopped working over 10 times. The maintenance office does not exsist. It is almost complicated to get into contact with someone about you're issues unless you walk to the office and show your frustrations and make sure you do it before 4pm. They don't care about their people. You WILL have several complications . I would invest in a microwave and and plug in mini stove top. Or pe prepared to eat take out a lot , because you're appliances will never work .

The location is prime with direct access to major interstates. It's also close to shopping the neighborhood is being developed nicely providing more restaurants housings and shopping. I enjoy living in the city

Appliances are outdated and do not work properly. When we had refrigerator issues, they replaced it with a beat up old fridge with a messed up door and they marked the floor when installing it. There is a destroyed vehicle that has been sitting out in front of my building for 2 months and the parts and glass are still out in the street. The construction is awful and very noisy and would still be there if we renewed our lease another year. Good location and we were lucky enough to get the one unit with nice carpet. The 2 bed 2 bath unit is a good size and the porch is nice. I wish there was more value for the unit but this isn't that kind of apartment complex.

Overall good experience. I as of late have been having issue with one of my neighbors and I will say the property manger made sure to hear my grievance, and inserted herself to handle the situation personally. What more can you ask for ?

3 out of 5 ?? the night walkers and traffic for this school are a nuisance.Office staff are okay could be better.Property isn't well kept.Poor customer service,communication and attitude when you reach out to the office.Dont expect too much from this place.This is a convenient location the only perk!

Of course Capital Gateway is prime location, but the maintenace team is unnaccpetable. I put in a maintenace request to fix my laundry door because it had fallen off the hinges. I put the request in on April 4, 2017. They did not get my issue resolved until October, 6 months! I also put in a request because my oven had broken (still broken) on December 6, 2017. Do you know my oven is stil broken, almost a month later. It's such an inconvience to not have an operating oven for the holidays! I can't bake anything! My boyfriend and I have been to the office so many different times, only for staff to tell us, "we'll get to it right away", but never do! The security gates are always broken, I've seen random homeless people cut through our apartments, because the gates are always open. I will not renew my lease at the end of the term. I am disappointed and am tired of going into the office with no avail!

Trash, noise level is outrageous. Security gate never works, people just walk in. Large majority of the residents do not work. Overpriced appliances, carpet and paint old. Reconsider moving here please

I have been here since 2014, community is good. But it would be better if they considered upgrading the apartments to match the changing area. Also updating the gate system. The office staff has changed a lot of the past 3 years but it's been cool. I'm up for renewal over to my 4th lease, and debating if I want to stay as I feel that renewals aren't always treated as fairly as those who are coming new or that are apart of the income based program.

I think capital gateway is very convenient for people who study or work nearby, especially in Georgia state university. For these people it is a good choice to live at this community. But the renting here is so expensive, and renting increases quickly every time when you need to renew your lease.
