Beware Beware Beware

I am a former tenant of Capital gateway. Let me start by saying that whenI first viewed the property, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was treated like a king. But, as soon as I moved in I was ignored. The leasing staff had constant attitudes each time I visited the leasing office to pick up my mail, which by the way is where some of the the residents had to go to pick up their mail due to issue with mailbox keys not being available and the U.S. Postal Service approval of of the mail box placements. The community is located right outside of downtown Atlanta on the site of former projects,(Capital Homes Public Houseing)as well as n=being located in an Empowerment Zone therefore you have section 8 units and tax credit units mixed with the maket units. This I was aware of upon signing. I was assured by management that the property had private as well as Off Duty Atlanta PD. officers on property as courtesy officers. I even met one of the officers who was very displeased with her apartment and the management as it pertained to compensation for her services. Also on this propeerty a Seniors Housing complex faced vandelism on a daily bases prior to opening. Drug dealers and children run amouk in this community with no restraint.I have found on numerous occassions sleeping in the breezeways I had to call the police to have him removed due to the fact that the courtesy officer not answering here phone. I would not recommend this property to anyone...BEWARE
