My experience with Capitol Gateway has been great overall most neighbors are friendly and the staff very helpful i like cause they have events for the kids and adults they try stay involve that make it much more better for kids and adults the crime rate average but where im at its pretty quiet i love it i will recommend it to friends pr family

I love this apartment community. It is a great value for the location. We have a spacious floor plan and gated parking. We even have a trash service that takes our recycled goods, which I really appreciate.

Capitol Gateway is a wonderful community. I had the pleasure of raising my son in this community. It's a very quiet community considering it's in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. The community is very clean and safe. The school that are in the district are amazing top notch school. Capitol Gateway is also in the middle of one of Atlanta's top Universities. Our community is very friendly and the staff are amazing. The apartments inside and out are beautiful and very modern. Our community also have many amenities. Such as a pool and gym just to name a few. The staff goes out of their way to make Capitol Gateway a great place to live and raise a family. They host many community events. Such as fitness boot camp and cooking classes just to name a couple. They also have events for the children like summer camp and back to school bashes just to name a couple. I just have one wish for such an amazing community. I wish I could buy one of these beautiful, modern apartments and live here always...

The lack of communication from the staff and their unwillingness to work is unbelievable. I have never encountered a group of people so unprofessional and unreliable. My entire experience with the capital gateway leasing office has been awful and quite frankly I wish I had not moved in to these porperly managed apartment homes.

Nice reasonably price apartments, great location. Just a couple adjustments needed to get a complete 5 star rating. Like opening the pool sooner, having the pool open throughout the week, new gym equipment because half of it is either damage or missing, less kids hanging in the breezeways.

Great location, great value for rent paid. I feel safe in my community. My apartment is clean, generally free of critters, and maintenance staff has been responsive and courteous. My only complaint is the dumpsters and pool not being open.

This complex could use more knowledgeable and available maintenance staff.. especially with HVAC certification. But other than this is a very quiet community... definitely worth the price. A washer and dryer is included in most units and it is an all electric unit with water paid separately with the rent. Really close to all Atlanta area interstate systems. Check it out.

It has been 2 weeks and I am so Disappointed. After alerting management that they put me in a handicap apartment, management responded by saying I should have known although it wasn't obvious. It's is difficult doing dishes, some of my appliances won't fit under the cabinets, I had to take equipments that were being used to fix electrical outlets to the office my self although I was told they will be pick them up 2 weeks ago. There is more but for now, I'm extremely disappointed!!

The complex was quiet and nice when the area was first built. Over the years, it got worse. The units by the Academy are the noisest ones. If you stay on the lower level people constantly slam the entry gate, kids linger in the breezeway, and the apartment walls are entirely too thin so you hear EVERYTHING. No matter how many times you complain to the rent office/courtesy staff...nothing is done to fix the problem. Its like living in the projects but paying entirely too much for those that are not on government assistance.

Capital gateway tentnents and staff is careless about the environment. This complex has people who are paying close to $0.00 then those like us who are paying $1500. They do not clean up, they do not control the garbage maintenance, I complained almost every day about the breeze ways smell of urine and garbage. They never cleaned or kept area safe, the gates that we are suppose to remained locked unless you have a key that We paid for has been broke for months. The staff is rude and again careless about the environment because they don't live here. We are moving because of how nasty and distasteful the place looks. Its embarrassing that us young people who work super hard were paying that much money to feel like we are living in the projects, or low incoming housing. I don't recommended anyone staying here this area is beautiful and I guarantee this place will continue go down hill if the staff continues to not care about the property.

Generally, the area is well maintained. It is relatively clean and well-kept. Some of the office staff are helpful, but some are not. I once recommended a friend but the promised room in the second floor wasn't available at the last minute. The office staff need to be more coordinated and organized. Aside from that, living there is fine and convenient.

If you don't expect too much this is the place for you. Everyone keeps to themselves and the staff is super friendly. The downfall to this place is the people that live here and maintence. Expect maintence to take a while to get to you even in an emergency. Also expect loud drunk college students to be up at all hours. If you're okay with that then you'll be fine. Added bonus the security gates don't work.

So far the only problem is getting things at my home fixed. Everything else has been great. There were issues with the house that I'm assuming no one fixed before allowing people to move in. But I have been finding the issues and letting the staff know.

Staff is responsive, community is neat and well kept. Apartments are spacious and sunny, with high ceilings. The apartments are well lit out doors and patrolled frequently by security officers in the evening.

Capitol Gateway has been a good apartment and community to live in. The pros are its location and proximity to the interstates, downtown, parks, and restaurants. The maintenance and office staff are generally very friendly, if a little disinterested. As for cons, the units and appliances are not in very good shape, and the maintenance staff, while friendly, are very inefficient. Additionally, while we've generally felt perfectly safe, the office staff does not do a good job of communicating safety concerns included repeated ramming/breaking of the lot gate and even a police stand-off in one of the buildings. No communication. The grounds and walkways are not cleaned often, but bugs have not been much of an issue besides a few isolated outbreaks of ants.

I really enjoy my Rental Property and So, do my children. We used to enjoy screen on the Green and. We still enjoy the backpack giveaways. Though, it was warned that the weather would be severe. So, everyone was over heated and ill. There should have been Water parks, water sprinklers, free frozen ice's and or free iced cold waters Available. It was unorganized, and Mrs. Christina asked my son to get out of line , a line we all my two sons and I were taking turns to stand in a almost four hour wait. She, says he had to be accompanied by an adult. He was accompanied by me, However, she just had spoken to me all cheerful, then ten minutes later she came an put my son out of line rudely. I like her but, she rubbed me the wrong way. One she's aware of my illnesses and my sons illnesses. My youngest son was being attended to and watched by me because He started to Up chuck and he is eight years old , he said "Mommy I feel faint." so I had to wait in line to get a water that was boiling hot. So, instead a woman standing by offered us some cold water. She poured water on him and we sat him in a some what shaded area.

Location is great if you can deal with incompetent rental office staff. Apartments are basic and affordable for the area. The gym facilities are not adequate. The pool access is restricted by requiring a wristband. Maintenance staff is slow to respond to problems.

I moved out here in October 2015 and when I first look at the apartment I was like wow, my children love the place I love the place I love the fact it is a gated community and every building has they on playground and a fitness center,pool and a community Center.

I love my apartment and surrounding community. I feel safe and comfortable at my home. Living at Capital Gateway is convient and appeasing. The gym and the pool are great amenities. The office staff is amazing. Jeffery the manager makes sure all matters are completed in a timely fashion and the leasing team are the the most professional and friendly staff I have ever encountered.

This apartment was fantastic when Cristina was the property manager but since then....Meh, it has become a typical apartment that doesn't really care about its residents. The only reason I live here is for location for work otherwise I would not be. The apartments themselves are mediocre and nothing special. As someone else mentioned the grounds are not very clean either and all the walkways look very run down. The front office is impossible to reach by phone and you will never be called back. Also work orders will take forever even if an emergency. (I went over a week in August without even a response from maintenance about my broken Air Conditioning). From talking with other residents, certain buildings seem to be better than others. The buildings closest to the private school seem to be by far the worst and I have heard many complaints, so watch out for those. All in all the apartment is below average and I will not be renewing my lease.
