I've just moved in and I live the Capitol Gareway Community. It's very convenient and the staff were very welcoming and gave me great experience. I Cannot wait to enjoy the years to come at Capitol Gateway.

I moved in on 5/20/20. Unit appeared to be clean. Not at all! I am confused as to why you Katrina thought the unit was ready for me to move into without being properly cleaned. The day I moved in a (Wet Paint Sign) was attached to the Stove. Therefore I am confused as to when you really did the walk through on this unit. The drain in the tub was rusty and wouldn't stop up. Last night the drains in the kitchen sinks was filthy, rusty, and tarnished. I had to use lime a way to clean the sinks. The Mr. Clean magic eraser was black, I had to scrub the drains multiple times. When I lifted the toilet boil it was Disgusting and black rings were around the top of the toilet boil, as well as the back of the toilet filthy. The floors are dirty and dusty, the bottom of my feet were dirty, I opened the balcony door and realized how dirty the floors are. The refrigerator has a smell to it that I can't get rid of. I have cleaned it twice. Also every time I open the refrigerator the bottom falls off. The pictures attached are of the porch, which is much filter that it appears on the pictures, just about the entire porch has black marks and dirt everywhere. I don't know what the filth is coming out of the vents. The AC only works in the living room. I am highly confused as to why the Unit was not properly cleaned before I moved in. It is not my job to move into an apartment, and have to clean. I am so busy cleaning and disgusted, I haven't had time to unpack. This is unacceptable, this unit has been vacate since November and it hasn't been clean since then as well. The dryer barley works, I had to start it twice. Leasing agent entire attitude has shifted since the day I moved in. I can't half pay, and you should not have moved me into what appeared to be a Ready to Move in Apartment. Do not just throw me into a unit. The security door is broken, and most likely will never be fixed. The hallways outside and steps are filthy as well. I am not satisfied and highly disappointed! This is unacceptable and not worth the amount of money that I will be paying. Don't be lazy and play with ppl lively good! Sad.

The boys and I have just moved into the community so far so good. The I only issue I would have is the gate slamming once someone has went out other than that we have had a great experience so far we are thankful

The initial move in process was a bit confusing because the office representative failed to review and revise important leasing documents. Also, he was not provide any additional information such as location of mailboxes, dumpster, how to use the access doors, Xfinity offers, or information about valet trash. In my opinion this are things that should be mentioned even without request. The location is great though!

It's been an okay experience it could be better if people cared about cleanliness around them and the consideration of neighbors and with that it could become a lot better and the staff in the office needs to lose attitudes

I love my apartment, just needs some renovations and updating. I moved here 9 months ago, since then I have had a few issues with maintenance. I would call my experience enjoyable, the apartment just needs some upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms.

My experience at this community has been very pleasant. The location is extremely convenient. The complex is very beautiful and quiet. I have been here for a number of years and have never had a safety issue.

I can't answer because I have not fully experienced the apartment. I just moved in yesterday. However, the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The community appears clean and welcoming. I'm excited for this new experience.

They never answer the phones, when you do speak with someone they sounds like they don't want to help You can never get maintenance to come fix what THEY have broken! It's always a process dealing with anything besides paying rent

The office staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The maintenance has been a bit subpar. The condition of the unit was not good upon move-in. The unit should have been in clean and sanitized condition. It was disappointing.

Nice and clean apartment complex. Convenient to I-75 and I-20, truest in the heart of the city. I would definitely recommend for young adults and students looking to live in the city. The area feels safe.

Great staff and beautiful apartment but no storage space (clparts) except two walk in closets. Love the open concept living room and kitchen and the walls are thick so very quiet. Good, safe community for our little family as we attend Georgia State.

Move-in was a very disappointing. The oven & stove top were absolutely fifthly. The office staff did arrange for the stove to be replaced with a cleaner one the next day after I moved in. The tub has some kind of brownish-orange deterioration on the bottom. I was told on Wed that a contractor would come in next day and refinish it. It is now Sunday and it still has not been taking care of. The apt smells like old cigarettes and dirty socks. I have had several flea bites and caught two of the fleas. The carpet is very old and worn. That is probably where the smell is coming from. Honestly, I would not have moved in... but I had already set up utilities, internet, scheduled a washer/dryer to be delivered, and must start at a new job August 19. I drove up from Florida Wed, and arrived here about 3:30pm. By the time I was shown the apt, it was after 5pm. Being exhausted, I choose to try to make it a go with the apt. I deeply regret that decision now after being bitten by fleas, and still putting up with the smell even after airing out the apt for 4 days. I opened all the windows for those 4 days, but the apt still stinks. I had to buy liquid plummer to declog the shower as it was full of hair. It took the whole bottle and several applications to clear the clog. I bought carpet stuff for the fleas and the smell, and guess I will be stuck renting a machine to shampoo the carpet this weekend. The only nice thing I can say is that Terrin, one of the office reps is very nice and has a great personality. One of the guys in the office however, acts like a jerk. Also, the huge trash dumpster outside the building really smells. The trash is flowing over. The stairways are very dirty/grungy as well. I feel terrible to have to relay such horrible things, but I hope that maybe someone in management cares and wants to make this place better. On the positive side, the landscaping is very pretty and my neighbors are quiet at night.

Nice move in wish I had an levator...lol... The management team is amazing and they make sure things are in order inside and outside the home. Garbage pick up and the pool is amazing. They strive for excellent customer service.

Overall the staff was excellent I had a few minor concerns about the gate being fixed and certain things that was supposed to be taken care of before move in but nothing major this place will be my home for a while. Oh and not to mention it's quiet!!!

Decent, good apartment space. Gate to parking lot is broken and has been for 2 weeks. Close to downtown and walkable distance to GSU. Trash and dubstep overflown for multiple days. Difficult to contact office and must show up in person.

This was a learning experience I'll never forget. The application process was too tedious and lengthy. The requirements need to be presented prior to applying. This would save a lot of time and avoid a lot of back and forth.

The leasing agent who we were in contact with throughout the entire application process quit the job before our move-in date. We were not aware of this until we came the day of to get the keys and were told no one had any idea we were moving in and that our apartment would not be ready for at least 3 more days. We ended up having to move in with really old dirty carpet because we couldn't wait any longer. We also did get a discounted rent because of this, which was nice. However, I've saw many people say the same thing has happened to them here. If you're moving in, make sure to check with the leasing office a week or two beforehand to make sure your apartment will be ready. I've had a few instances where the office staff has been rude, especially when it comes to picking up packages. I've also been told numerous times that my packages were not there when they were. I've had to go up there 3 days in a row for them to finally find it. Not to mention one day where I went to pick up a package and they kept coming out of the package room saying they couldn't find it. I insisted that it was there. They kept checking. After about 15-20 minutes I asked if I could look because I knew what the packaging looked like. They said no and went back to look one more time. Came back out and asked me to look. I found it within 10 seconds of being in the room. Supposedly they are getting a package locker soon, but it's been a couple of months since they said that and it still isn't set up, so I'm not sure. The maintenance staff has been very friendly to me, but it seems really difficult to get them to actually come fix anything. The community is okay. The pool is nice when it's open. The gym is small and has an elliptical that will electrocute you if you touch it in the wrong spot. Parking is good as long as you have the pass. Make sure not to let any guests park inside the gate, because they will get a boot. There are a lot of kids, so if that will bother you for whatever reason this isn't the place for you. I'd say for the most part it is pretty quiet. Overall, I think that if you work at the capitol or someone really close by it is worth it to live here. If not, I'd live somewhere else.

The staff are very professional and were willing to help us as much as possible when we were moving in. The community itself is nice, mostly clean, and gated. Overall the appearance of the buildings and grounds are good. The apartments themselves are very spacious and well maintained too.

It has been problems since the beginning. Maintenance request are ignored, (my stove hasn't worked since I moved in) and now we have a water leak and our air conditioning is not working. I have an infant. Move in procedures were not explained properly due to staff turn and/or rude behavior and instead of someone from the office explaining the error. I found out when I was served by the sheriff office for delinquent rent. This has been the worse experience ever.

So far so good except the broken laundry machines, broken buzz doors and broken gym instruments. I have lost multiple packages at my door. That is probably because of the broken doors. Even people once knocked my door and asked money

It has been both positive and negative. Staff turnovers, mailbox break ins, faulty laundry facilities. Cameras are needed as it would make the grounds more secure. Also, random people come in and out, kids throw things, etc.

My experience has been ok. Maintenance issues have taken a long time to get fixed. You get a lot of text messages letting you know of all the activities going on in the community. I've had issues with my gate remote since I've lived here.
