I've lived here for about two and a half years and have seen some good and bad. I am about to move out, but not because I didn't like living here. Our apartment was nice, exactly what we wanted when we moved here, and we haven't had many problems. Complaints: the grounds have been looking more and more ill-kept as time has gone on. There used to be a landscaping team on site weekly, but now the grass is gone in many areas, the pine straw is old, and beyond the front drive there are no flowers or bushes. Last summer they put down a bunch of sod and small plants in the middle of Georgia dead heat and then didn't water any of it until it was almost all dead. It looks terrible now, and what a waste of money. The most recent office team was terrible, but I believe that there has been a change within just the last couple weeks and so far I haven't had any problems. I have never been late with rent or anything of that nature, and they've only raised my rent $20 in the two times I've renewed my lease. We have some noisy neighbors, but overall the complex is a quiet and very safe one. I've never felt scared if I accidentally left my door unlocked. Maintenance staff has always been pleasant, but not good at follow-up. Sometimes they say they'll be back with a part or a bulb, but never come back to finish. I feel sorry that I have to leave since it has been a comfortable experience, however.

After MONTHS of viewing apartments in Marietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Woodstock, Canton, and Holly Springs, we unanimously agreed that The Pointe of Towne Lake apartments would be a GREAT home for us! I am a VERY VERY picky person, especially when it comes to safety and cleanliness, and these apartments are very well kept up and are very safe (me being a female, I have NEVER had any issues), all the residents are EXTREMELY nice! The complex is very family oriented, kids ride their bikes, and residents walk their dogs around the complex. The office staff is AMAZING, they are so helpful and nice, and they know you by name. The maintenance crew are on top of things, you see them around the complex all the time, even on the weekends! The valet trash gets picked up from your door in the evenings from Sunday-Thursday! We have only been here for 4 months, and are already talking about renewing our lease (which isn't up until October). I would 100% recommend these apartments to ANYONE!!!

I moved to Towne Lake a few months ago. I have found that maintenance is Johnny on the spot with making sure my needs are met. The office staff is very helpful and honest. As I searched the communities in this area this was by far the cleanest I saw. My daughter and I had to leave our home for unfortunate reasons and the leasing agent was very helpful making our transition easy. The office staff in general has been very helpful and courteous. I love that the property is gated and it is typically quiet. I'm not planning to move again anytime soon so I'm glad I picked this apartment complex to call home.

We have lived here for several years and have a mixed review. First, it is not "nestled in the rolling hills of the north GA mountains", so take the picture of quiet, serenity out of your mind; the Townelake area and the complex are in a highly congested area right off busy 575. There is nothing new or updated about this 13-14 yr. old complex. There have been management changes every year and last year the complex was sold to a corporation that cares little about their customers. They added cosmetic changes to the outside, but inside the apartment homes it's an old story, literally. The complex is old, sagging and it took a year for them to begin repairing exterior stairways that were collapsing as the buildings continue to sink into the ground. It's old, as are all appliances and just as important, the heating/a/c systems is an outdated Heatpump system; the apartments lack insulation. The inefficiency is reflected monthly in high utility bills, increasing everyone's costs significantly, along with unnecessary fees. The poor construction is evident once you spend a month inside an apartment. The lack of insulation between the floors and walls makes it not only energy inefficient not cooling or warming efficiently, but makes for a very, very noisy home. New complexes in this area give you more for the same total monthly costs, & provide sound interiors, quality flooring, insulation, lower utility costs, new appliances and double pane windows. The Point at Townelake is far behind today's standards. The increased rent prices are not reflective of quality, just greed. If you want more than "fluff" and care about being able to sleep peacefully at night in a sound apartment with lower utility costs, energy efficient appliances - move elsewhere.

Lived here 2.3yrs.Always paid everything on time. Received the last utility bill which didn't contain the KW Hrs. I personally spoke to Jackie Pugh, who passed me(the problem) on to Fara Oliver, Ms. Oliver told me she would find out the KW Hr and call me when she found out the information. They had my forwarding address, as well as my phone numbers. Instead A Credit Company called my references on the application I filled out. My References live in a different state so they were very concerned. The management was trying to avoid me, which is extreme unprofessional. Also when I got the letter from the Credit system. This complex is RIPOFF!

I liked the place; however, the customer service is terrible! I paid for my trash to be taken every week, and over 8 months, it wasn't done once. They also have still yet to refund my security deposit, more than two months after I left.. They never filled any of my maintenance requests. My back door never worked, and I couldn't lock it.. Also, someone kicked my door in one night, and it took them days to repair it! I had a gapping whole in the door/window...People could have come right in (luckily the didn't).. If I were you, I would go to one of the many other nice options right down the way...

I have been here a year and even though I'm moving to be closer to work, I'd probably move anyway. It's not the worst place ever, It's safe and the pool is nice. The maintenance guys are cool and I guess they just like us because we have no issues getting things fixed. But- There is mold on the windows just like everyone says. The parking lot is weird and has a lot of narrow turns that make it difficult for cars to pass each other easily. There is constantly construction on the breezeways and one staircase or the other is always blocked but nothing really seems different about the stairs so I don't know what they are doing construction on. The appliances in my unit are cheap and the stove cooks things unevenly. The leasing office sent me a letter threatening eviction because I put my trash out for valet service two hours earlier than allowed. They have actually sent nasty letters with false accusations a few times without bothering to speak to me about the issue. It's not the worst place ever If you are not picky and want a safe cheap place to live, you'll do alright here

For the name droppers out there. I moved here when Camille and Lori were here as well as Genevie and Tab. All were very nice, helpful, understanding, professional and hosted wonderful partys. Then of course, went through a rough patch with management for almost a year. New management is great and so are the gatherings. The maintenance staff here is very pleasent, friendly, and helpful. I love my apartment very spacious and so do my animals. Extremely animal freindly! 50% of the people in my building have been here over 4yrs and 1 up to 10yrs. Which tells you something....WE LOVE IT HERE!!!! Close to stores.

It's a new day!
I am a tenant and just renewed for another 15 months. I've lived here through the fantastic teams of Geneveve, Tabatha and Kathy and the very difficult past year. The previous manager had issues and many long time residents left, but that is in the past, it's a new day. As of this month there is a new manager, Jackie, and assistant managers Kathy (who has always been here, she was always wonderful to work with), plus Fara another new great assistant manager. They are working very hard to right the wrongs, and make us feel valued as tenants once again. The new Thursday events are a lot of fun and a way to get to know them and, them the tenants. If there is a problem, Jackie and her team will listen to you and respond immediately, your problem will not fall on deaf ears. The maintenance team of Marcus (who just won an award for the entire company) and his super side kick Dion are the absolute best; eveyone loves them! I highly recommend the Point over any other complex in the area.

Previous (thank god) resident
I feel the need to start off my review by saying: THE NEW MANAGER THAT TOOK OVER AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR IS A COMPLETELY NIGHTMARE! SHE IS A SORRY EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING AND SHE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. The very breath she takes is an insult to my being. Not sure why TriBridge would hire someone like her, to take over this place. I LOVED these apartments before she came. She's on a HUGE power trip and lives life just to make others miserable. None of the staff could stand her when she took over and as we see the staff has already changed. Tribridge, what the hell are you doing? Really!!!??? New residents beware: don't rent here unless you like to be talked to like a piece of ---- and belittled and unless you enjoy mold on your windows, rats in your stoves, beams holding up your breezeways, and stepping in dog ---- all over the property. This place has become a dump and Ann Baker just added to it all. GO rent somewhere else... seriously! The Heights across the street may have a staff with the personality of a banana but they take care of the community and they're not rude nasty -------. :) That is all... if you don't believe me, try it for yourself.

Gone downhill - rent somewhere else!
Don't fall for the false advertising. There are many residents here that are planning to move out. The 'new' manager has been verbally abusive to several people that we know of including us so dealing with the office is very unpleasant to say the least. You can hear nearly everything that happens above you. They're finally offering to clean up our porch. The dog upstairs urinated and deficated repeatedly on our furniture and rugs over 6 months ago. They won't address the burn marks on the rugs from the lit cigarette butts that fall through to our porch. Haven't been able to use the porch because of it but I have to pay for not only the damage but for an apartment with an unusable porch. I was told that I should call and report these issues. I even showed them the butts laying out there. They should count the number of calls that I've made. What a joke. The place is literally falling apart and they do not care about anything other than rent money. It took 5 months of the dog barking 24/7 for management to finally do something. Sleeping according to your neighbor's schedule is NOT what we signed up for. Ruination of our personal property is NOT what we signed up for. The manager's sarsastic/abusive tongue is NOT what we signed up for. There have been three different managers and countless office employees since we moved in so the line is - We weren't aware. This is by far the worst place that we've ever lived in - a literal nightmare! Oh - and several buildings including ours are propped up with wood posts in the stairwells - boy does that impress guests let alone make us feel safe! They've been there for 8 months now. Thanks for taking our money each month and providing such a stressful place to live. I should have paid the extra $100/month for a garage. My vehicle and our bicycle wouldn't have been vandalized. We HATE it here and so will you. We do like the maintenance crew but they get their orders from the office. Nice guys though!

Overall Unsatisfactory
I have been a resident of the Towne Lake area since I was younger and when I moved from my parents house I was thrilled to be moving into a place that was affordable and close to home. Wrong. Not only have I been dealing with an obnoxious neighbor who does not understand the ways of living in an apartment but the staff have been just as awful. When I moved in the manager and was fantastic, she handled complaints by finding out both sides of the story and never put blame all on one renter. Since the previous staff were replaced the new management was a nightmare and I could not be happier that they have been removed. The current management was left to pick up the mess of the ones they replaced, but it was too late. Clearly the structure of the building is horrendous, I have a 13 lb dog and have received numerous complaints that she shakes the coffee table below (right?) but also the 2x4's holding up the building, unsafe. I have been threatened eviction a couple times because the staff received a complaint and did not bother to call me to discuss the issue at hand. Not to mention, they lied, openly, about the 'many notices they have sent us.' I realize many living conditions have not been met and that there have been issues that we have been very sorry for and have fixed, but nothing ever seems to be enough. I will be getting out of my lease early when school is over and will never recommend anyone to the complex. Not only is there mold growing on my window sills but the window itself is bad and pre-ordered blinds the 3rd day we moved in have still yet to show up. I went 1 month without air conditioning because the staff forgot to put in the work order. It baffles me that this is the number 1 complex in Towne Lake, for the money, the promises aren't there. I refuse to go anonymous on this post, the complex has a right to know who they have upset. I wish all the best for anyone who wants to move into this complex. Maybe corporate will figure it out before all of their tenants move out.

Great place to live!
Having moved here sight unseen from Florida in 2006, we are absolutely sure we could not have found a better place to live! The staff is fantastic, polite and professional. The buildings and grounds are kept up to high standards. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. Overall the neighborhood is the best in north Georgia.

Glad to call it home!!!!
We have lived here for 1 year and LOVE this place. Great floor plan, nice size apt, 9 foot ceilings, crown molding, large windows and well layed out kitchens. Community is well appointed - picnic areas with grills, nice pool and fitness room. Our apartment faces the back of the community which is wooded - LOVE IT! Yes we do have dog poop issues but management is working on a resolution by inposing fines on residents that do not pickup after their animals. Yes we have reinforcement braces on the building but again management is on top of this as well. Waiting on reports, and county approval for work. The maintenance staff is GREAT!! Residents are friendly. Just a GREAT place to call home.

The Pointe at Towne Lake
I've lived here for a little less than a year. When I first moved in there were 2x4's holding up our building. Management told us when we moved in that it was temporary. It is now almost seven months later and all they did was paint the wood. When we moved in we needed new blinds. Again, it has been almost seven months and still have not received them. The management is terrible. They are not on top of things. I have told them to put my name in the box so guests can come in and they still have trouble getting trough the gate. There is mold growing around most of the windows. Since it's almost impossible to reach the office on the phone, I have been to the office many times and still a lot of the problems have not been fixed. The maintenance team is great and have been very helpful but if you have any other issues, expect to wait a while to resolve them.

Management review
As a tenant of the complex, I can tell quickly that the management wrote the last review, it is a PR piece for anyone interested in the complex. It is false information. Be forewarned, they do not take care of the property, and the sticks holding up the buildings have been there since early spring when my daughter and I moved in. I was told then it would be fixed right away. They are non-respondent to issues, becoming a real slum and when our lease is up, we are moving. We have had dogs above use use their porch for peeing and pooping which came onto our porch, and management did nothing about it; extremely unsanitary. The complex was purchased in mid-year and it has become a renters NIGHTMARE.

Great for a while.....
I lived at the pointe for over a year and absolutely loved it at first. The apartments are a little older but they are so spacious and very well laid out. We never had much trouble with neighbors except for the people that lived above us. They had at least 3 kids and they would let them run around the apartment all day. During finals week, we were trying to study and it sounded like a herd of elephants lived above us! I called several times to have my toilet fixed (it was running non-stop for months) and no one showed up until 3 weeks before we moved out! It took forever just to get wheels put on our dishwasher and then we found mold and/or mildew growing around our windows! The ladies in the office were great to begin with but they would always forget to put our work order in or to call me back about move-out questions. I had to call the office several times to resolve one issue. The worst part is that we moved out and 3 weeks later got a bill for $188. It says we owed $380 for our last utility bill! Considering we didn't even live there for the last week and didn't run the air conditioner, there is no way our bill should have been almost double an average month! The actual apartments are great to live in but good luck with the management. Rent is a fair price but the utilities are astronomical!

Love it!!
I love the Pointe and I am so reluctant to leave. The neighbors are great, the management is awesome, and the maintenance is quick to respond, even for small issues. We have a two bedroom two bath and it is PLENTY big. No problems with space. Kitchen has plenty of storage. Lovely views of Towne Lake. Close to 575. I would personally recommend these apartments to anyone!
