One of the best!
I came from a community that was a lot older and was so surpised to see the difference in a newer, well kept communty. It is so beautiful here and the apartment homes are very moder. Right down to the breezeways I felt the difference immediately. The community is well taken care of and the homes are very spacious with 9 ft. ceilings and crown molding - imagine that! It's the details of the apartments that set it apaart. My home has huge windows, faux wood blinds, and updated fixtures that make it feel like a house. The girls in the office are also outstanding and will go above and beyond to make you happy. Maintenance techs are also extremely polite and get the job done the first time. I recommend The Pointe at Towne Lake to all of my friends and family! Truly one of the best!

Quiet on the top floor ! Great views too !
My boyfriend and I have lived here almost a full year. We live in building 1300 which from the top floor has a great view of the city. The office is polite, however if you want something done you sometimes have to ask more than once. DO NOT leave messages becuase they apparently never check them. Other than that this is a very nice community and I have had no major problems. PS- if you can stand the treck up and down stairs everyday move into the top floor, we never have any noise problems other than people going up and down stairs occasionally.

Leaving Reluctantly...
Lived here for a year and it has been awesome. I've never had a complaint the entire time I've been here. The parking is great, and there has never been anything wrong with my apt. The one issue is the dog doo, but that's basically due to people not cleaning up after their pets. Very safe place to be, and quiet neighborhood. The only reason I'm not renewing this time is because I work in Atlanta, and gas is killing me.

lived here for two years. DETAILED review
okay so i'm going to write alot so i'm going to forget grammar. for starters the space is absolutely beautiful on the inside. lots of room and nice size kitchen ( i have the two master bedroom apartment). here are my problems that i've had... you can hear pretty much EVERYTHING your neighbors do because of lack of insulation in the ceiling and walls. there is dog poop usually everywhere. we had complained about the dog poop to management and they said they couldn't do anything because they couldn't prove it was one person doing it (even though i told them who it was) and it took probably 2 months of complaining about twice a week to get a note on the person's door. haha so basically you have to complain A LOT. you may as well forget about complaining about the noise because somehow the people we complained about knew it was us who complained and brought it to our door. it was a very uncomfortable situation to be put in. the office had no business telling the lady that WE were the ones who complained because all they did was start an immature little "war" between us. we've had several notes on our door claiming we've done things we just don't do. they're favorite is that we're speeding through the complex. which i think is funny because it's posted as a 15mph area and i got a note saying i was "spotted doing over 5 mph" which apparently is the speed limit. ha. the people here... NOSEY. oh my god i have never met such bored and nosey people in all my life! if you have a problem with living near people... DONT move into APARTMENTS. (just had to get that off my chest) the management is slow but maintenance is lightning fast. you call... they come. it's great. parking is great... there's a little trash every now and then but it happens... people make mistakes. im currently moving to a different apartment because i need another room due to becoming pregnant but if it werent for that i'd stay. everything that goes on here is typical apartment crap. no drug problems, no shootings, you pay for a better apartment complex and higher class of people. but people who know they're a slightly higher class also tend to be really nosey and quite snobbish. poo-pooing everything the teenagers do even if they're not hurting anyone or anything. just sad really.

Good and bad
First the good. The apartments themselves are very nice and quite spacious. Lots of windows and incredible closet space. Maintenance staff is the best and very personable. There is one staff agent who is the business manager and she is the nicest person you will ever meet. Her name is Lisa Farmer and I have much respect for her. Now the bad. The apartments are over priced. Appliances are cheap and there are no microwaves. For the high rent things could be a bit nicer. Management bills utilities to a third party and it is expensive. Many middle man fees which are ridiculous. This is the reason why I left. I was a two year resident. The property changed ownership in Dec of 07 to LeCraw Properties. Since then all has gone downhill. Prices are up and services are down. And there are no longer any resident functions. It's simply business and a very cold place to live. Someone else mentioned dog poop problems and cigarette butts all over the place. Both are true. Previous management was kind enough to allow my my three dogs and trust me due to their consideration I walked my dogs with pooper scooper in hand. But it didn't matter as the grounds are covered with waste. I also had a problem with cigaratte butts being thrown off of upper decks down to my terrace level apt. It was rude and I had a chain smoking neighbor above me who caused me great concern over the possibility of a fire. I have had various apts before and during my tenure as a homeowner. Here in Atlanta at Post and in a wonderful complex in south Ga. I have to say that my experience at The Pointe was the only bad one. This during the course of 20 plus years. Look elsewhere if you can.

small but nice
The only problem I have with this apartment complex is that the gate is always open. WE pay a lot here so I would like it if the gate actually worked. Oh and they bill out electricity and water so there are extra fees...so dumb. But the office people are super nice, and the maintenance people come quickly to fix things.

Great Place to live
Now known at The Pointe at Towne Lake, this place is awesome! Maintenance is awesome! I have called about mistakes i ave ade (sorry) and maintenance was at my apartment within the hour. The ladies in the leasing office are sweet. If you decide to lease with them, talk to Ms. Farmer. She is awesome! One of the nicest ladies you will ever meet! The neighborhood is very well kept up! The Pointe at Towne Lake is ery clean. I do not know why anybody would say this place is terrible?! I love it, i feel safe! When I moved in the apartment was clean, everything was new! The staff works very hard to keep everybody pleased! The clubhouse is even an awesome place to hang out at! Trust me, you will love it here! I am about to resign my lease, and plan to stay here for many years! The cost of renting these apartments is also incredible!

If this is best in woodstock, I'd hate to see the worst
Now called "The Pointe at Towne Lake". Worst apartment I've ever rented. Apartment was dirty when I moved in. I spent a week cleaning the place. Maintainance is bad. I can't get anything repaired. I requested a key to lock up my outside storage and they refuse to supply one (even though I was told one would be supplied). Grounds are full of doggy doo and cigerattee butts. Neighbors are noisy and the walls are paper thin. I hope you love cats, because they are running loose all over the place. I live on the terrace level and several have decided to spray all my outdoor potted plants. I PLAN TO MOVE AS SOON AS MY LEASE IS UP!!!!!!!! If I were you, I'd keep looking. THIS PLACE TOTALLY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without a doubt the best community in Woodstock
I have lived here for over a year, and I love it! I have had no problems with maintenance, if you have something that needs to be fixed, it is always done that day. The leasing staff are great, really nice, and people you actually want to be friends with outside of your agent/tenant relationship! It is an extremely safe property too, I feel completely safe taking my dogs out at 3:00 a.m. I would definitely tell anyone that needs an apartment in Woodstock to come here!

This is a great place.
I have lived here for a year, and have never had a problem with anyone who worked here. They go above and beyond what is required. This is a beautiful, safe complex, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Upset with Dog Doo
Moved into the Paces paying more and expectign more. Into my second month and my neighbrs dog has crapped all around my porch and management won't do a thing. I'm told to "speak with my neighbor" . Unexceptable. The kids next door who like to party til 3:00 a.m. must not work because the party never stops. I wish to move on.

Money Hungry Management
This apartment community is by far the worst that I have ever lived in. The units are extremely over priced for what you get, and the management staff is a pain to work with. Noise is a huge problem in this complex- managment doesn't care... Drug bust are a problem- managment lies about. The only thing managment cares about is filling up the units with absolutely no regard to whom they are filling the units with. Be wary moving into this complex because you never know what kind of hood rats are living right next door.

By Far The WORST!
I have lived in this community for a few years and will be moving as soon as possible! Ever since the new management took over there are nothing but hood rats and devilish children running this community. DO NOT move here unless you want to live with unruly kids and drug dealers. The only good thing about this community is the maintenance is wonderful and always working hard, wish I could say the same for the management. Think twice before moving here.

You don't always get what you pay for
I'm leaving at the end of my lease with much regret. I came to Paces because I really thought it was above the rest. I have learned my lesson that you don't always get what you pay for. I have had bugs a plenty, I have been by the leasing office during business hours on many occasions and no one is working, I have had maintenance calls that have taken weeks to correct and I have neighbors that must not have jobs because they party all the time and have no consideration of others. I pay alot for my home here and was happy to with the understanding that I would be getting more for my money. Sadly, Paces is no better than most of the others and I have wasted a lot of money coming here. I would really like to give this place my reccomendation, unfortunately I can not.

Get out while you can.
What was I thinking moving in here?
There are thugs standing in the parking lots constantly. Be afraid here. Drunks hanging out, speeding thru the apartments,This is Riduculous. It is just a matter of time before Gangs run this place. As for the people who run this place???they don't care. It is only a job for them. I have lived here for 2 years and it is about up, I will find a better place in towne lake.
Get out while you can.

Five years and loving it!
i have lived here since '99 and believe it is a very safe place to live because of all the cops who live here. These apartments are in walking distance to restaurants (Chilis', Longhorn, and Philly Connection), a Publix, and a QT gas station. It has easy access to the highway and has a great view.

This place sucks
Office is rude and maintenance takes three days to unclog a toilet. Never can get anyone in office to answer the phone either. My neighbors apartment was broken into last year and there are strange people who live near me.

Very Pleased!
I recently moved into the Paces at Towne Lake after selling my home. Not having lived in an apartment for 10 years, I was not sure what to expect. But from bad experiences in apartments of the past, I have been pleasantly surprised and overjoyed with the Paces. The complex is very quite and I haven´t even heard the first noise from adjoining apartments! The office staff has been very accomodating and helpful when ever assistance was requested. Most of the buildings nudge up to a natural wooded landscape and it really makes you feel like you are located in a nature preserve. If there is anything wrong with the apartments, I would have to say some of the original construction issues are a little odd. Such as the placement of the light switches and small oddities of similar nature. They are located in odd places and even placed directly in the center of walls rather than closer to the entry way of the room. Overall, a really nice place to live!

Very nice and quiet place to live
I was transferred to Atlanta through my job. The complex has been quiet. The office staff, especially Eric, has been very supportive and assist my family and I with local information/guidance. I appreciate the personal touch and care provided.

THINK TWICE BEFORE MOVING HERE
I have never been so dissatisfied with the office staff as I am here. They act like they will bend over backwards to make sure that you are happy but after you move in, they completely forget that you even exist. After I had complained soooo many times about things that needed repair in my apartment or how the property looked like a dump or how the manager was extremely rude to me that I finally had a friend repair the things in my apartment and I finally quit calling the manager and I gave notice. That is when she finally acted like she had some customer service. She wanted me to stay, probally because I was a great tenant. I paid my rent on time and never received the quality of service that I paid for. For this reason, I moved to a brand new complex where I receive wonderful service. Some of my new neighbors also moved from this dreadful place.
