I’ve really enjoyed my time living here. One of the biggest highlights has been the amenities – the pool area is clean and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing on weekends. There’s also a ping pong table that’s been a fun way to unwind and meet neighbors. And if you enjoy golf, the small putting green on site is a nice bonus – great for practicing or just having some casual fun. Overall, the community feels laid-back and friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a place with some extra perks!

Feels like a neighborhood

Downsizing to an apartment after 45 years of home ownership, I’m excited to call The Overlook my home. I love living in this welcoming community with its beautiful landscaping, many amenities, and friendly activities to acquaint neighbors. After weighing apartment living vs buying a patio home, Hannah sealed the deal for me with her thoughtful help, walking me through the process with her patience and smile. Enjoying this new resort-style living!

Beautiful Apartment Community!

I have lived at The Overlook for a little over a year now and truly couldn’t imagine calling another place home. The office staff is tentative, the grounds are beautiful, and maintenance is impeccable. The resident events the staff hosts is my favorite part, it really brings you closer with your neighbors. Overlook Live is an annual event they host and it really is amazing. If you are looking for a beautiful community to call home then this is the place to be!

Great complex

Truly a wonderful place to live!! Feels like a cozy neighborhood. The staff is wonderful and they make you feel at home. The clubhouse, gym and pool are great! The maintenance team is always quick to resolve any problems.

Feels like a home!

We have not lived at The Overlook for very long, but it has felt like a breath of fresh air compared to previous places we have stayed. The green space, fun activities, and amenities here have made the experience even better. We have been to the pool almost every weekend and it is kept in great shape. The food trucks brought to the property make for a convenient dinner or fun snack. Jennifer has been a great help to us, along with all of the staff weve talked to so far. We really have no complaints so far- it is apartment living, but it is the quietest and cleanest place I have stayed. I am optimistic about the time we will spend here!

Lovely Apartments and Wonderful Staff!

Outstanding team and experience

The team at the Overlook was welcoming and easy to deal with. I moved from Massachusetts and had limited time to visit the property. However, when I arrived everything was organized and ready for my visit. It is such a joy to live here!! Great property

I absolutely love living here! The leasing staff is so friendly and the maintenance team responds to maintenance requests quickly. The location is perfect! You have endless options for shopping and dining while still living in a calm community. We love the clubhouse - the gym downstairs is amazing and the pool is beautiful and peaceful. A relaxing and quiet oasis in the middle of the city

A relaxing and quiet oasis in the middle of the Eastend. The grounds here are massive. Large trees and shrubs have been carefully landscaped throughout the property. It's kept lovely. The pool is 3' and perfect for staying cool in a float, small kids, and water aerobics which happen weekly. The property also offers yoga, a trainer, meditation bowls along with other activities. Maintenance is on your requests, even in the snow, and the office staff always friendly with a cup of hot cocoa.

Great Experience

My experience at The Overlook at St. Thomas has been a great one so far. The front office is always helpful, and maintenance is reliably communicative and considerate. I recently had a maintenance request related to paint peeling in one of the bathrooms and it was quickly resolved by Shawn and the rest of the maintenance team.

I wish we discovered this location sooner

As a TBI survivor, the entire moving process, from the application stage to move-in day can easily feel overwhelming. Having a legitimate service dog, Im well aware of how often people try to pass off fake service animals. So, seeing that the application process here included a thorough screening felt truly refreshing. For those with invisible disabilities, a process like this helps mitigate situations that may arise simply because we don’t look like we have a serious disability. From the moment Hannah gave us a tour (which immediately sold us — we didn't feel the need to look anywhere else) to assisting us with every necessary step, everyone and everything about this place has made it feel like home in a way Ive never experienced before. I can honestly say I wish we had found this place sooner. Unlike our last community, this is a community that not only my fiancé and I can enjoy, but one that our children can truly enjoy as well due to there also being children of the same age

Hannah at The Overlook made moving an enjoyable experience

When it came time for me to look for an apartment I wasn't entirely sure of where I wanted to go. I toured several different complexes but was blown away by the amenities and hospitality I experienced while touring The Overlook. Hannah helped me throughout the process and helped me to find exactly what I was looking for. She asked great questions to find out if the property was a good fit for what I was looking for, and was extremely helpful with any questions I had. She made the often difficult transition an extremely easy one. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you're interested in looking for a new place on the property!! I've already recommended her to a friend who will be looking for an apartment here shortly.

Consistently, the staff is always wonderful to deal with, the events are so much fun, my space is lovely and well taken care of by maintenance or whoever they need to get the job done. A wonderful place to live

I've loved living in The Overlook at St Thomas Apartments. The staff is very friendly and truly makes the place feel like a community. I truly appreciate the property manager Emma she has always been helpful and truly cares about residents. I also need to shout out the amazing duo of Jennifer and Hannah (the all-star leasing specialists) They are always so prompt care a lot about your concerns. The property is settled in a nice quite area of Jefferson County. When looking at apartments, I was looking for a "WOW" factor and quickly found it! The landscaping of the community is second to none. You feel a sense of pride coming back to a beautiful community every night. The buildings are on the older side, but have been renovated and well maintained. The rooms and living space are larger than other apartment units for a reasonable price. Depending on the side of the complex you live on, you may hear some highway noise, but honestly it's not bad. The number of amenities the complex offers, for the price, is really a bargain when comparing apartment communities in the Louisville area. They also host many fun events, food truck nights, pickleball lessons, and workout classes every week. Honestly, whether you are moving to Louisville from out of town, or just looking for a new place in town, The Overlook should be top on your list of places to consider.

Perfect dog friendly apartment!

Last week I came in to tour the overlook and after my tour sat with Hannah to discuss the property’s amenities and if it would be a good fit for my lifestyle. We discussed other affiliated properties but the Overlook is definitely fit best for my dog and I! Enjoyed going through the lease with her and hopefully will be living there in 2925! Hannah was so knowledgeable about the property and friendly and easy to talk to!
