The Overlook is a Top Spot in Louisville!

The Overlook is one of the best places to live here in Louisville. They have great, friendly staff and provide many great amenities for their residents (pool, gym, pickleball/tennis courts, weekly food trucks) on top of the various other monthly events such as movie nights and live music! I have been living at the Overlook for 2 years now and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a new place in Louisville!

Excellent staff, nice yet affordable apartments in a great area!

The Overlook at St. Thomas is an excellent place to live, located right next to a great grocery and dining center! The staff is very friendly, and the apartments are a great deal for the price. (Nice, Updated) They offer lots of activities/events, like food trucks, yoga classes and live music. Highly recommended.

Best place in town!

The Overlook Apartments have always been known as the top apartment complex in town. The location, amenities and service are next to none! The staff treat the residents like family. Highly recommend!!!!

As a recently new resident to The Overlook, it is difficult to comment on the overall security of the area yet, but so far it is easy to speak positively about the appearance and comfort that The Overlook provides. Both Emma and Jennifer provided us with an excellent introduction and orientation of the apartment. Emma has bountiful energy when it comes to answering questions, no matter how mundane and exudes complete professionalism in all dealings. The community is quiet, we have not had many interactions with other residents as yet, but there is an understanding that the property management facilitate frequent community based activities throughout the year. We are still getting used yo the area, but everything is very close. Kroger and a selection of restaurants are a 10 minute walk away; St Matthews a 10 minute drive and Ballad High School pretty much “just around the corner”.

Our experience at the overlook has been great! I’m the staff is incredible, the apartments are nice and it’s in a great area. They even have a spot to let your dogs off leash. The facilities are really nice and they’re always doing events.

The amenities that are offered at the Overlook are nothing but amazing and the staff do everything in their power to make your experience worthwhile! The property is well maintained and is always being updated. I would highly recommend considering the Overlook when looking for a place to call home! p.s. they are pet friendly for your furry friends

We love living at the Overlook! Everyone who works there is extremely nice and very receptive to issues. Maintenance is always on top of their game and gets any issues fixed quickly. Amenities are A+++! Only drawback we have is parking in front of our specific apartment.

Things are great here. On all potential major issues, the Overlook is out in front of and communicates well. Living here has a few minor inconveniences such as frustrating rent collection process and upkeep of smaller amenities. Staff is very friendly and still one of the best spots to live in Louisville.

My fiance and I were both sold pretty quick. Most of that started with great customer service. I don't know if there is multiple people that work the front counter. But we were very lucky to have ended up with Emma. She didn't just show us around and tell us about the place. She talked to us, and seemed to have actually enjoyed the conversations. Made us feel welcomed. And truly seems to love peoples company. When we left. The first thing we mentioned to each other, was how great the customer service was. And on that alone, we felt pretty sold, because in past apartments that we have lived in. We didn't feel like our complaints or issues were taken seriously and it never felt like any one truly cared. We could tell off the bat that whatever issues we have, they will get resolved. I've already had two minor ones, and they were fixed quickly, with no complaints. I don't think I'll be regretting this decision

I have been hunting for a new apartment for a while now and The Overlook is my #1 right now!!! The leasing staff was super professional and very kind. I wanted a place with a little bit of everything and the overlook blew me away while also keeping it very charming. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amenities I will be getting. I don’t think I’m even going to look anywhere else for a place to live because I LOVE IT HERE!!!

We have lived at the Overlook for over a year now. We even recently switched locations within the complex. Since we have been here, we could not have asked for a better crew to work with; from the office personnel to the maintenance crew, all have been exceptional. Emma worked with us on our move and she was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way and made us feel like newcomers all over again. She is the sweetest person and really listens to what you say. The whole crew is wonderful to work with!!! If you are considering moving here, you will not be disappointed!!

Without exception, the Overlook is the best rental experience I have ever had. The unit is spacious, graciously designed, and most of all, quiet. The amenities are many including a fireplace and 4 bathrooms (two of which are half baths). The management keeps the grounds, pool, and all public spaces as though the property was a high-end country club, and the on-site staff are, to a person, a group of well-meaning, friendly, and competent folks. About 15 minutes from downtown, but at the same time "a world away." Convenient to shopping too. Can't say enough good things about living here.

Being from a military background, I call things the way I see them. I've lived all over this country, and never before was there a civilian establishment that met and exceeded my expectations from the start of a relationship... right to the end. Why did I move> It wasn't because I wanted to. Employment circumstances changed... and when they changed back, I made every effort to return to the Overlook. It doesn't snow in Louisville very often. When it did I was not expecting the maintenance and grounds staff to blow and shovel the sidewalks. I really didn't expect them to clear the walkway from the door to the curb. NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT !

The Overlook is wonderful, well thought out floor plans that are spacious. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful both pleasant and knowledgeable taking care of any issues in a timely and professional manner. I love the looks of the community as it does not have the typical look of an apartment and has an abundance of mature and well maintained landscape and greenspace. Most any amenities you could think of and lots of planned activities for those who want to participate like concerts, wine Wednesday, and food trucks to name a few. You cannot go wrong with making the Overlook your home.
