Highly recommend!

Good Experience

Great Property

What A Cool Place

I took a tour of this place recently and when I left I couldn’t help thinking about how cool this place was. The property was beautiful, the staff seemed friendly, and there was even a guy setting up in the parking lot to sell lobster rolls for dinner!

Great community!

[Incentivized Review] We moved here a few months ago and have been loving it! The amenities on property are awesome- pool, pickleball courts, clubhouse, gym, etc. The staff is super friendly and welcoming also. We’ve really enjoyed getting to know our neighbors too.

Love it here!

Love it at the overlook! It’s a wonderful place to live. Even though it’s very pet friendly it is very clean. Love the gym and the fitness classes that are offered, as well. Definitely a community feel.

Wonderful place to live

We’ve lived in the Overlook for seven years. We’re so happy with our choice of home. We don’t feel like we’re living in an apartment. Everyone on staff, both in the office and maintenance are absolutely wonderful to work with.

Moved here in 2022

My mom and I both live here and we love it! The office is always stocked up with great coffee. They also keep the clubhouse really nice and clean for residents. I ride my bike to the clubhouse almost everyday and it always looks amazing!

The best apartment complex in louisville

You can tell Emma, the property manager, truly cares about her staff and the tenants of The Overlook. The effort the staff puts in to put on thoughtful events for the tenants is something you don’t find at other complexes. The clubhouse and amenities are always clean, the maintenance staff is so responsive and helpful. I just love living here!

Great place to live with great staff

This community truly feels like home. I love the amenities (gym, studio, great walking path, safe area and outdoor space to relax) and the way I can have everything I need on the property without leaving. Very convenient when busy! The staff is so kind, friendly and helpful and I always feel welcome when I walk into the office. Hannah especially has always answered my calls and concerns, checked on things for me and been a friendly face. Highly recommend!

A Wonderful Place to Call Home

I absolutely loved living at The Overlook! From the moment I moved in, the staff made me feel right at home. Excellent

I've been living at The Overlook at St Thomas since May 2022, and it's been a great experience so far. The apartment complex has a lot to offer in terms of amenities and convenience. The pool is huge and perfect for hot days and never feels too busy. The location is also perfect - down the street from Holiday Manor & right off of 42. One of the best parts is the coffee bar and water station (Phocus!) it’s so convenient for a quick drink and chat with the staff. The complex also hosts resident events, making it easy to get to know neighbors and feel more at home. Recently, I have been dog sitting for a few of my friends so the huge property is great for walking around while staying within the community - special mention to the dog washing station too! A big shoutout to Emma, the leasing agent, who made me fall in love with the property’s beautiful looks and personality. She’s been helpful and responsive throughout the years - even now as the property manager. If you're considering moving in, The Overlook is a great choice, especially if you’re looking for a place with community-oriented amenities and helpful staff. Couldn’t recommend it more!!

Well maintained and great staff!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our several years as residents at the Overlook. Our unit was spacious and modern with updated finishes and appliances at an agreeable price point, and the rest of the property was very well maintained. We were big users of the gym in the leasing office and the pool and both were always clean and not overcrowded. The landscaping on the property is also beautiful which made taking walks around the property even more enjoyable! The staff in the leasing office was also always receptive and quick to attend to any maintenance related or other issues we reported during our time as residents. Overall I think the overlook is a well managed and beautiful property and I would recommend it to anyone in the Louisville area looking for an apartment complex to call home.

An over the top St Thomas Overlook Experience

Wow. Where do I start. The 2 bed 2 bath 2nd floor unit felt like I was living in downtown chi crown chicago at the top of a skyscraper in the penthouse. The view overlooking the clubhouse / pool was something else. The patio has hosted many functions such as grilling, welding, and just a plain up night of chopping it up with the boys. The amenities are on par with gated communities in Florida. They include but not limited to pool, gym, tennis courts, etc. I took my lifestyle from a 200 lb guy to 160lb guy due to the gym at the overlook. I think my dog loves the pet wash station, as she was always smiling and having a good time in it.

Highly recommend!

We've lived at the Overlook for almost four years, and we love it! The staff is always friendly and helpful. We rarely have issues, but they've always been very responsive when we've reported anything that needs to be fixed. The units have all been renovated relatively recently, but the structures are older. With that, you aren't getting some brand-new, super modern, aesthetic apartment. HOWEVER, we have absolutely ZERO noise issues, probably because they are older buildings that were built well. We left our apartment complex because the brand-new construction was built as cheaply as possible, and the noise was unbearable. The absolute best part? The real, wood-burning fireplace! It sounds menial, but we LOVE using the fireplace during the winter. It's going to be hard to give up when we leave.

The best place to live in Louisville

When anticipating a move across the country for school, we were very selective on where we wanted to call home in a new state and city. We were so lucky to come across the overlook & it’s by far been our favorite place we’ve lived. It feels so homey, we haven’t been a single unfriendly neighbor, and the office puts so much time effort and money into putting on great events for the residents. This complex has made us fall in love with KY and want to stay much longer than anticipated. Hannah in the office has been so kind, helpful & responsive with all our requests and we couldn’t be more thankful. Additionally, the maintenance team here is amazing and goes out of there way to quickly help w any issues. Truly such a great place to live!!

I love it!

I toured earlier this year with my boyfriend and applied the same day! The clubhouse was huge and the amenities were great. Their gym has all the equipment I needed to cancel my membership at Planet Fitness. The apartment is beautiful too. My favorite part is the granite counters!

Landscaping

Overlook Live Event in August 2024.

My friend lives at The Overlook. She asked me to come to The Overlook Live event. They had Mary Mary a live local band. Maintenance cooked burgers and hot dogs. The leasing staff handed out drinks. Everyone was so personable. It was an amazing night and everyone seemed to have a fun time.
