The Blair's is a wonderful community with a focus on sustainability. The apartments are priced well and the convenience of the location is unbeatable. There's a Giant, CVS, and a few restaurants located off the same parking lot! The metro is also very close by.

Avoid living at the Blairs. You pay a lot for amenities that you can no longer use due to the pandemic. The property owner (Tower Companies) is full of employees who care more about lining their pockets than they do about human decency or doing the right thing. You can do MUCH better for your money. I do not advise you to live here.

The leasing office is very professional. Omer is so careful and available for each and any question. The whole process of signing the contract was just spotless. The apartment and the building look nice! My bike was stolen already from the garage though.

I hope there could have a Swimming pool, I saw a big roach yesterday in the package lockers basement, it's really scaring. I don't want to see any big bugs in the future.. others are very good, nothing else, thanks

I am new to this community. There have been no issues. The best thing about this apartment complex is the sq. footage. Clean and ample parking. Parking fee is comparable to other in the area. Overall, no issues. Looking forward to it.

The buildings and property are clean and safe. The staff is very helpful and attentive. All maintenance requests have been handled rapidly. We really enjoy living here. The only negative in my opinion is the lack of a pool. The gyms and amenities are great! There are also activities for the whole complex if you are interested. Great place to live!

The Blairs is a pretty nice community to be a part of. I don't really partake in many of the social events they have, but for those that do enjoy them, the options to interact with neighbors and be involved are numerous and diverse. I also think the apartment's response to COVID-19 issues has been outstanding and they've been rather vigilant about keeping residents safe. I haven't had much quiet during my time here, but that's probably my only issue. Otherwise, it's safe, accessible, comfortable, and the neighbors are pretty decent--many people choose to live here for a long time. It's also relatively affordable, which is a win here in Silver Spring. I would recommend a friend to live here.

In a great location right along the DC and MD line. However, a bit overpriced for the amount of issues I've had since being here only 8 months. Very thin walls, constant maintenance repairs, roaches have all been issues since I've been here.

Practical area. At the same time it is Noisy. I appreciate being close to the train. But we are on the side of the road so we cannot let the windows open very long. The community is pleasant. I appreciate the Blair's.

The concierge staff at Plaza are very attentive and actually take the time to get to know the residents. This gives me the feeling of home when I walk through the doors even though the lobby has the appearance of a luxury hotel. I love the decorum, which initially attracted me to the place.

The building's old, with that comes small annoyances. Windows are single pane, are drafty and do little to block out the noise. There's long waits for elevators, no utility elevator, making moving tough, and the main entrances are poorly updated, the doors break constantly. If you have pets, the area to walk the dogs is not kept up, there is glass and other harmful things. In addition, they do not mow the area.

I feel like the cleanliness of the Blairs and building upkeep has deteriorated over the past two years. In the first few years, I never saw vermin or rodents but now there appears to be an ongoing problem. Laundry facilities are often broken and remain in disrepair for months. The hallway walls and staircases are dirty and I am afraid to touch the door handles to the staircase.

Non-stop awesomeness. Amazing customer service. All staff have been knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Location can't be beat (especially if Metro is used). Neighbors say hello if you pass them in the halls, and the lobby desk goes above and beyond on a regular basis.

The Blairs community has so much to offer from a diversity community to close by transportation. All you have to do is get up on a work day go to the residents launch and grab a cup off coffe and get in your way to work from the metro red line station. Very convenient.

I just moved in. It's been very smooth. Everyone has been helpful. I almost wish I had signed a two year lease! I'm excited to explore the beautiful surrounding downtown area. Kusshi Sushi around the corner is already my favorite new DMV area restaurant!

We've had good experiences overall. The front desk people are always kind and helpful. The spaces are always clean. Maintenance is quick and kind. There is a variety of lifestyles activities that are fun to attend. I love the morning snacks that are sometimes provided.

Overall, I have had a very positive experience living at the Blairs, specifically in the Blairs East building. I love my apartment, especially considering the price and location (Blairs East is about a block or two away from the metro and is right next to a Giant and CVS). I also appreciate how the rent price incorporates water and partial electricity. Some other pros, I never have had a shortage of hot water, and maintenance does scheduled treatments of the apartments, so I haven't had any major pest issues (I don't think I've seen a cockroach once in my apartment, and definitely have never had any rodents). Additionally, the staff is friendly, the gym is a great option if you don't want to pay for a gym membership, and the sustainability aspects are pluses as well (included recycling and composting services, and the building is LEED certified). Also, my apartment in particular gets great light throughout the day, so if that is a feature you are looking for, you can find it at the Blairs. My only major con is that I wish I had an in-unit washer/dryer (I'm not positive if that's an option in other units, it might be), however, each floor has a washing/drying room and I can only think of a couple of times where all the dryers and/or washers were occupied when I wanted to use them, and I've lived here for over a year and a half. Two more smaller cons are that my bedroom didn't come with any installed lighting, aside from in my closet, so I needed to buy a lamp for my bedroom, and that my bathroom is pretty small, but I live alone so I can manage. There might be larger bathroom options though.

The Blair's is a great community with affordable apartments offering the most square footage of any of the complexes in the downtown Silver Spring area. Further, due to the building's quality of construction, residents can feel at home without the noisy intrusion of one's neighbors as is so common in shoe box apartments these days.
