Absolutely love the Blair Plaza building as well as all the others. The gym in the Plaza building is small, but access to the House and East building gyms makes up for this. Monthly building happy hours foster a sense of community and are a big plus to the community. Apartments are spacious and have tons of natural light.

Love living at the BlairTown. Only have two neighbors and a garage to my building. I feel safe living here. No one can enter the building without a key and there's always police patrolling at night. Great location, close to DC.

We have only been here 1 week and it has coincided with the CoronaVirus week. But I have only experience kind and helpful staff. The concierge service has been kind and accommodating. Even on the day that we moved and the elevator was not working (to be set for ours only) she was very helpful.

good but the metro can be loud at night. Kind of expensive considering the size of my apartment. parking is very expensive, $120 a month. didn't have fully functioning elevators for the better part of a year

Me and my family have lived at The Blairs for 3 year now. Overall the experience living here has been great. There have been some hiccups here and there, but we are planning to stay at The Blairs until we can buy a house in Silver Spring. You cannot beat the distance from the metro and grocery store. We love Silver Spring and The Blairs.

I just moved in and it seems fine so far. The leasing staff was helpful in getting me all set up. The move in process was a little chaotic and the building shows its age in certain places but overall, I am satisfied so far

This community seems rather warm and welcoming during my year and a half stay. The shared facilities are quite nice as well and the overall value for the area remains high, particularly for the proximity to the metro and a grocery store.

I enjoy living at the Blairs! They have done a great job promoting social distancing during the Pandemic, and have shifted to providing virtual activities such as meditation, yoga, and Zumba. I also love the eco friendly and dog friendly environment.

The Blairs is a really nice community. I just moved in here and have loved my experience so far. The convenience of the community makes it worth the rent price for me. Really close to groceries, shopping, food and the SS metro stop. Be aware! I moved into the Blair House building and round the building did not have a service elevator, just a regular elevator. Which made moving in with a couch a big hassle as we had to carry the up to the 10th floor from the basement. Other than that though, The Blairs has been a great place to live and the staff has been very accommodating and friendly.

Blair East is a great building and community, especially if you have a pet. I have a young golden retriever and everyone has been so kind through his growing pains. Additionally, there are great events every month to meet neighbors and stay in touch with management.

It is too much noise in the building. The music is to loud and it is on all night while people are trying to rest and get some sleep. It would be nice if it could turned off at 7pm no later than 9pm. There is also a problem with people overloading the trash room with garbage on the floor

We have been in the apartment for a year now. As a whole it is nice and safe. The community is also peaceful. It is also very convenient to live in the area because there nearby stores, restaurants and other establishments.

Good experience all in all. However, I feel like the apartment was move-in ready. I ask for many repairs to be within a month of moving in. The bathtub still needs to repaired but the bottom is pilling off. But for these repairs to happen, I will have to by away for at least 2 days. Right now, with the pandemic and everything going on...it's just not possible. So, the bathtub is still pilling off and the oven doesn't work properly TOO BAD!

Love the community but most of the amenities that I loved about the place are slowly being discontinued Which separated the Blaise from other communities. Makes me sad. But still a great community to live in.

I was a resident of Blair Plaza for 6 years, and had a very positive experience. The maintenance staff was excellent - whenever I had an issue, it would be resolved within 24 hours. The floor I lived on, as well as the overall building in general, was extremely well maintained. I never once came across a pest in my apartment. The leasing office was very accommodating and the residents in the building were very friendly. At the end of the day, I was always happy to come home to my apartment and when it came time for me to move, I was sad to go. I would highly recommend Blair Plaza if you are looking for a well-managed and very convenient place to live in Silver Spring.

The management at The Blair's apartment are very friendly and responsive. It's a really beautiful and accessible environment, with a 7 minute walk to the train station. I moved from Atlanta and enjoy living here in Silver Spring. I would recommend this apartment to anyone new to the DMV.

My time here is almost to an end. It is terrible for people that work on the weekends if you live in the lower levels. The common room constantly has parties with sound systems. I've told the business office numerous times that I can't enjoy living in my own space without the constant music being played at night. I've told the concierge that they need to turn down the music to her completely ignoring the request. I come home as soon as the parties begin and can't enjoy peace and quiet in my own room. My room was very spacious for the price but, the music and parties every weekend (with guests that don't live in the building that sometimes roam the halls.) Also, the constant police cars presence every week is kind of unsettling.

The Blair's is very clean and everyone is friendly. The value is amazing. My apartment was like new when I moved in. Maintenance takes care of anything I need. So nice having a gym in the building. Close to the metro

So far, so good. Blair Plaza is clean and my neighbors are friendly. I am also in love with all of the amenities the Blair has to offer. The lifestyle program is important to me and i plan on taking advantage of all 3 on site fitness centers.

Very nice community. Best community to live in.everything is close by. Metro station is near , I mean in 2mins walking distance. So many Restaurants are near by. Bus, mark train is near by. A beautiful peaceful place .

It is fine. Generally the staff tries to make the tenants stay here pleasant. Elevators are being refurbished and that is kind of a pain, but otherwise it is a good place to live. It also is a very central place to live. Near the metro, CVS and Giant. I walk a lot and it is surrounded by great urban hills. Rooms are large and spacious.

The apartments square footage is fantastic. However, in the past two months, the fire alarm system has gone off three times (two in the same week) thankfully all false alarms. There are 17 floors and we all have to walk down ... pets, walkers, babies, elders, everyone walking. The elevators have had issues as well. So, if space is important, this is the place. If you have mobility concerns, consider living on a floor you can walk down from it necessary or choose somewhere else.

The Blair House is inexpensive and the apartments have large rooms and lots of closet space. However, we had pest control issues that we did not bring with us. The concierge is great and very helpful. Wish they had a pool.

I've really liked it so far. I like that I can go to the fitness centers in any building. I enjoy the proximity to the metro as well. My apartment is spacious and affordable. It seems like a good place to live.

Convenient to Metro and grocery store, perfect for those who don't have cars. It is an older building that needs some work (new HVAC, windows) but generally a nice place to live. Maintenance can sometimes be slow to respond.
