We are satisfied and happy with our stay in Blair East. We have stayed here for 12 years and intend to stay depending on our personal health and age.We like the environment, the staff are helpful and friendly and the apt.

The Blairs is an overall pretty good apartment/community. They host a series of monthly community events which are nice (but sometimes hit or miss). The proximity to grocery stores and the Metro is pretty unmatched, especially with the price point. Overall, pretty decent value for rent. Only major gripe is the elevators of which half are are consistently out of service. They've been "modernizing" them for about 6 months....

Wish the elevators worked and the black mold was a little more explained to the community. It's a joy living at the blairs but I do wish there was more transparency about the ongoing troubles the building faces.

Overall it's very good. The business and leasing people are good at communicating when you contact them and the concierges are all great. The community could be better at announcements for things like pest inspections. My problem was I was regularly disturbed by the exercise classes as I could hear them from my apartment above them. The apartments themselves are good. I also have the issue of the temperature control is off, but not unworkable.

The apartments has unfortunately gotten worse overtime. There is a dog park located right at Blairs House and the echo of the barks often wake up the resident. The apartment claimed that the dog park is owned by Montgomery County so there is nothing they can do about it. Not to mention the break in of a car in the garage. It took over a week for the glass to be cleaned up. The elevators NEVER work, the washing machines will break while your clothes are in there which means you lose money from paying and in detergent. On the bright side, maintenance is fantastic. Jose, Coffee, & Lazaro are always attentive to the residents needs. The concierge are also very attentive and nice. If you move here, I would suggest moving into Blair East or Plaza. Although, I know people have had to break their lease in all apartment complexes due to mold.

I loved this community and location! I love how the they provide a lot of resident events, and they have very spacious apartments for them to be older. I was very impressed. Ericka was amazing! She provided great customer service, truly a genuine person with helping me. I look forward to leasing here!

Just moved. Seems very nice so far, had a brief issue with parking but management sorted it out immediately and followed up to make sure everything was working out. The convenience to everything is a major selling point.

Very cautious staff....the apartment is clean just for some dirty walls in the hall way, spacious apartments. I have been here for a couple of months and so far, I have enjoyed every bit of my stay. I love the community

Leasing office is great, concierge is excellent but the business office at Blair East is decadent mix of sorry and terrible. Allowing the business office to continue to operate in its nonchalance, arrogance and perpetually disrespectful attitude is simply a failure in leadership.

It's a diverse and friendly community. The staff is really helpful. Maintenance is quick to respond to any requests and they will solve your problem. The minor challenges to leaving here are the elevators, there are four of them but they don't all work at the same time, the laundry room has only two washers and two dryers per floor with 26 apartments and lately the fire alarm system went off a couple times in the absence of a fire.

Building is very old, so there are periodic issues with water, heat, elevators, and noise between apartments. Management is very responsive. But some issues they can't address because they are simply part of the physical building.

My fqamily and I have recently moved into the apartment complex and I have to say that we are pleased witht he residence thus far. One complaint we have is that the toilet stopped up and backed into the tub. However, maintenance was responsive and took care of the problem immediately. They even cleaned the toilet and tub out for us as well.

I've only been living here for about a month but my experience thus far has been good. Business office and maintenance department have been exceptional and receptive to any/all concerns. I'd say I'm mostly impressed with the complex's community involvement.

I've lived at The Blairs for almost 2 years and and been extremely happy with my experience. It is convenient to metro, and downtown Silver Spring , and it's great to have a grocery store in the same parking lot! I like having a gym and free exercise classes amenities, and the community calendar has activities for all ages.

Overall, I've been very satisfied with my experience living in Blair Plaza. It offers a safe community and pleasant place to live. The maintenance staff is very responsive whenever there is an issue that I need addressed.

The location of this apartment complex is great. You can walk to the metro and to shops and restaurants downtown. The rooms have lots of space and at least in the older buildings the noise level is pretty good.

We have had a great time being part of the community at the Blairs. It's clean, the service is amazing whenever we interact with the staff, and the other tenants are friendly. Having access to the gym has been great, and we love the proximity to the metro - it makes our commute a thousand times simpler.

Mostly very good. Most of the neighbors seem friendly, and most of the concierge staff is friendly. I do not like the fact that delivery people often bring packages directly to my door and leave them if I'm out. That lack of security isn't what I pay for. Security at the rear entrance of the building is spotty. Maintenance is very hit or miss.

Excelente location, apartment quite and clean building. Staff super friendly, Sarah made my move in very smooth. Pets are accepted and they offer a lot of activities in the building. I haven't tried gym classes yet but planning to do shortly.

I moved into this apartment a few years ago, and I love it. It's in a great location - close to transportation options and downtown Silver Spring. There are many events offered here, which is a bonus. Highly recommend!

This is a good community, the people are very nice, the rates are very affordable. I would continue living here until my circumstances change. I have been here for three years and plan on staying as long as I can.

so far it's been a great experience. Working with the leasing office, the concierge, and the business office has been rewarding and welcoming. The only glitch when we moved in was a fob that wasn't working but they took care of it immediately.

I really have had an incredible experience. The community part is the highlight I feel. There is always an event. People walk around and have coffee. Incredibly convenient. Everything I need is a walking distance. My daughter and I enjoy our stay .

This is an excellent non-smoking, environmentally friendly community that is very convenient to shopping, dining, and entertainment venues. Close to the metro and ride-sharing services. Blair East is a great building for families and singles who commute to DC, MD, and VA for work.
