Pleasant environment although the property is not as well maintained as it used to be, i.e. split rail fences are in a state of collapse and more appear to be falling down. Not a good look! Also, buildings have some peeling paint and some stone steps are dangerously loose.

This comments are based of one week experience, so I believe a survey in a couple of months would be more effective. So far the community is nice, I like the gym and the neighbors. The apartment is really nice and comfortable.

Maintenance staff is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. One of there reasons I moved to this complex is because is pet friendly and smoking is not allowed inside the units. Unfortunately the occupants of the unit below mine are smokers, they smoke inside the unit and we can smell the cigarette smoke throughout the unit, which is a health and fire hazard. I reached out to the leasing office with the hopes the issue would be resolved but it never did. If you are not a smoker and the smell bothers you, this is not a place we can recommend.

I feel very safe here at Avalon. The management and maintenance staff are very responsive and efficient. The property is well maintained and the amenities are great. The community of neighbors are very friendly and respectful.

The apartments are spacious and comfortable, though with some outdated appliances. The water pressure and heat is good, the overall apartment quality is good, and generally I would say that it is a good value. The cons are that (non-essential) maintenance requests take some time to accomplish (though important requests are addressed usually within one business week), the walls/ceilings feature the type of "popcorn" plaster meaning it is difficult to customize the space, and the units themselves are on the more expensive side. Overall a good place to live, but not necessarily the easiest to make your own.

The experience is very nice. When we have a problem with anything in the apartment it gets taken care quickly to our satisfaction. The grounds are well kept. The maintenance personnel are always quick to lend a hand or answer questions.

Everything is great. Highlands staff are courteous and friendly. Maintenance workers come quickly to fix any problems that occur. They are friendly and courteous.. I have had two issues and they were taken care of in quick fashion.

new owners. property maintenance is lacking. numerous potholes in roadway that go unfixed except front office area. vehicles currently park in handicapped parking spaces that are not handicapped. no enforcement. dead trees are cutdown but not replaced and stumps remain. management states they are working on it but it dissent take months to replace dead trees, shrubs and fill potholes.

The units are nice. The upkeep on garbage and recycling is terrible. There are non residents hanging around the property. People are at the pool and some of the cul de sacs that are not residents. Also use the garbage and recycling facilities

I just moved into my apartment and so far I love it, couldn't be happier! The community is great. Kira and Nicole were extremely helpful with the move in process. Probably drove them crazy with a million calls/questions that I had but they were very patient and made the process smooth and easy.

So far I can speak to the leasing agent - Nicole was so great to work with. There was an issue with some things and she stayed on top of them and repairs were made. The day after I moved in the water heater had to be replaced, but all was done as stated and without too much inconvenience.

meh. expensive for no reason

Meh. Definitely not a luxury apartment even though the rent is high. Plus they have some fees that increase the cost more than the listed rent, before utilities.They slapped some hardwood floors down, gray paint and stainless steel appliances and used that to justify insanely high rent. If the rent was lower it might be worth it. You can hear everything through the paper thin walls. They are good about taking care of maintenance requests promptly. The gym building is nice. Office staff try to be helpful.

Do NOT move here! The prices are ridiculous - & on top of horrendous rents, there are multiple added fees that increase the monthly cost by 10%-15%. The buildings are made out of plywood & cardboard, it seems, given that you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The staff are either not well trained or not very smart: they don't seem to be able to answer any question on their own - or there is "someone else" who knows that particular thing, but you'll never know who that someone else is. There is a decent online system that can be used for signing leases, etc. but nobody seems to know how to use it - and shockingly they print out 36 legal-size pages each time that a lease needs to be signed rather than using that system. But somehow it's important to have parties & Halloween contests? This isn't a sorority, girls; if you want to run a social club, go somewhere else. We are getting out as soon as we can - although it will cost us even more to do that. Avoid this place!

I was relocated to this apartment complex after we had a fire in our home. as you can imagine this was an incredibly stressful and traumatic event for my family and I. I worked with Jennifer and not only was she so kind and understanding to our situation, she always got back to me with any questions i had incredibly quickly. With her help we were able to navigate our nightmare of a situation as stress free as possible. A smile and a kind word can go a long way and she was a great asset through out our time there.

That -------- girl is not pleasant at all. I let one of the leasing agents know by no means did I want to work with her. She is extremely awful and has no sympathy and lacks common knowledge and Decency. Do yourself a favor and record all conversations with touring and moving in. Forgot to mention paper trial is key with that office. Broken promises after promises. 3K+ for a renovated apartment where the appliances don’t even get replaced. The apartments are filthy. The property manager does not make it any better. Management should offer customer service in person courses for those does not understand the common courtesy. You may get better service going to a fast food place then dealing with those 2.
