Wonderful apartment, the grounds are always kept clean and very nice. The amenities are good; pool, gym etc. Anyone would enjoy living here, The people that live here are great for the most part. Maintenance people are fantastic, and the girls in the office are accommodating and very nice

Living in Alister Nanuet brings a peace in mind especially with the maintenance team that are responsive and effective. Taking away those hassles is a big plus when compared to ou of condos properties.

Overall good experience. The community is clean and safe. Bedrooms are of decent size. For 3 bedroom apartment, the rents are high but the kitchen doesn't have granite countertops. The dining area is small for adding a 6 seater dining table. During Covid time the amenities like gym and pool etc cannot be used however the rent isn't reduced.

I love living here!!!!!! Alister Nanuet has been a wonderful experience. I love Tatiana, Georgina, and Jennifer. They are very helpful. The maintenance is very attentive and they truly care about us residents and also the community.

I have lived here for a few years now - there has been multiple company changes since I have been here (i believe about 3 or 4 so far). The rent is getting to be pretty steep for the area. There have been multiple car break ins with no cameras being put in and no staff taking action against this.

Hasnt improved with change of ownership, actually has gotten worse! Increase rents with no benefit to residents. Avalon owners cleaned carpets yearly and actually up kept apartments. Now you have to move to new unit for ANYTHING to be done!

Excellent location great staff good response to maintenance needs highly recommended even though its very high priced I have lived here since 2014 till now and I love it here. Great place for family and also is the only complex around that accepts Pets.

It has been a wonderful experience in general . Friendly neighborhood-including the residents, staff (in office and ground) Always quick to help solve an issue. Some updates would be nice- the dryer doesnt dry clothes (takes many cycles). Instead of replacing they do quick fixes. Grounds are kept nice. Always clean

Alister Nanuet provides a community that loves dogs, has a great swimming pool and very spacious apartments.There are several different styles to meet everyone's needs. It is conveniently located near shopping, schools and all major highways.

Alister Nanuet is the best rental community I have ever lived in. I usually do not like living in rental communities, but in Alister Nanuet I feel as if I am living renting in a condo community where people take more pride in their community.

Cannot really compare to other apartments as I am not from this country. But I would say that in my country in France the quality of the buildings and apartments are better. Finishing is more professional

Since moving to Alister in November 2019 I have enjoyed living in my one bedroom loft. The apartment itself, is beautiful, spacious, and anytime I have an issue that needs to be addressed, the maintenance crew and office staff are always there to help! Parking is excellent, plenty of spaces. Only complaint is the dumpster is so far from my apt, so I have to drive w my garbage in my car. Wish they Alister could come up w a solution for that.

As a single parent, safety is of my utmost importance. Leaving here I have always felt safe both inside and outside of my home. Additionally, the maintenance staff goes above and beyond and the office staff is a pleasure to work with.

I moved in on Sunday, July 19th. Georgina from the main office made herself available to assist me. She later called me to make sure that we had no issues. This is the best apartment I have lived in. The staff is very attentive. Apartment is very roomy and comfortable. Maintenance staff went above and beyond to fix my issue. I had a friend that visited and will try to move into this development once her current lease expires.

Overall we really like this community. The apartment is in great shape. The grounds are beautiful. And it is a short commute to my work and to a commuter train. The dishwasher isn't the greatest, but other than that the appliances all work fine. There is some confusion if you get a promotion rate for it to actually be applied. But at the end of the day, we got our discounted first month and it worked out.

Good place to live but apartments could be better maintained and taken care of. Pay a lot to live here and should expect more for your money. But Unfortunately were very unhappy with the apartment and didnt get what we expected.

I like my apartment despite the extremely cheap construction quality. The grounds and common areas are kept at a minimal level except by the office. Grass, plantings, roadways, garbage facilities, etc. all leave much to be desired. Snow plowing has been problematic. Common area lights are frequently out. I usually replaced all the bulbs in the carports.

Great community to live in but apartments are poorly maintained and shortcuts are taking when repairs and maintenance are done. Definitely not worth the money we spend to live here. Property needs better management and maintenance staff.

Excellent community , very clean and quiet. Love everything from my apartment to all the amenities. Close to supermarkets, gas stations, restaurants, malls, fast food, home depot & Lowes. Everything is walking distance basically.

After living 50 years in Rockland we moved to The Peaks/Alister Nanuet and were there for 2 1/2 years with no complaints. We leased an American Disability Act (ADA) apartment which was perfect for us. New tenants moved in in September 2019 and the management failed to enforce the Noise section of the lease. We complained of yelling using the "F" bomb, stomping, electric guitar playing and the constant vibration from a soundbar coming from the apartment above. Management's answer was that it was 'common apartment noise' and to 'CALL THE POLICE' if it bothered us. Upon moving out we cleaned the apartment and left the electricity on for two days, in case there was an emergency, and we were rewarded by a deduction of $175 from our security deposit with the explanation of 'cleaning'. In retrospect I guess we should have videoed our departure.
