Overall, a great experience but when there are issues that need assistance, it appears that no one can handle it on site. All issues have to go through off-site management which takes days to resolve.

    So far so good. I love the gym and pool. I like the fact that they have two big grills we are allowed to use. I haven't used the pool table room yet but I would love to. Only two downfalls is the parking & when it rains, it floods. But other then that I'm loving it. Apartment is so beautiful & spacious.

      St James is a wonderful apartment complex to live. I've enjoyed each year there, and the office people are very nice and very helpful, so are the maintenance staff.Anytime I had an issue with something in my apartment, it was always taken care of the next day.

        Have enjoyed my stay thus far. Quiet community. Finding apartment and securing and leasing process was excellent. Within close proximity to grocery stores and local restaurants. Would highly recommend looking at this complex before making your decision

          I like it however it is too expensive for a one bedroom that does not come with a washer and dryer. I'm paying 1400 for a one bedroom but in NC I paid 1335 for a three bedroom apartment that came with a washer and dryer. The apartment complex in NC offered the same thing this apartment offers but way less and more space

            It's been good here. I'm not to keen on all the extra amenities added on to the base rent, but I pay it! I'm concerned about my safety bc we've had some car break ins last week. Also, the trash compactor is down again. This is generally a quite nice community and I like being here.

              This is a very nice and quiet neighborhood. I do enjoy the peace and quiet. Everyone in the office is super friendly. It is close to everything you can possibly need. The office will always inform you of anything that is happening in the community. I would recommend this community to anyone .

                Everything was great but the longer I live here the more I notice undesirable people hanging out and lurking around asking and selling drugs? then during the summer there is all chaos at all hours at that pool. And asking to move from my apartment because I felt unsafe didn't work out because I was going to be up charged like 400 extra a month on rent because "prices went up" But Lacey has been helpful and has tried to work with me..

                  I am very pleased with my apartment. The staff have always been friendly. They have always been willing to help me when I need it. The maintenance people are very prompt to fix any problems. I like the access to the pool and gym. Since I have a disability I get to park in the space in front of my apartment which makes it easy to put my groceries on my patio in front of my car, so makes it easier to get groceries off patio after i go in the apartment.

                    This community is managed well. The staff is very attentive. The property is well kept and the neighbors are not bothersome. I enjoy living here and I am glad that I have such a nice space to live in.

                      The structure of the apartment is really excellent, very comfortable, very good acoustics, whenever I open a call we are attended to. But unfortunately the negative points are the insecurity in car parking, weekends at the pool have a lot of drinks.

                        Overall my experience has been pleasant outside of the lack of the difficulties in integrating a new rental application system for renters. Integration was POORLY thought out and executed making the transition less streamlined for the renters. Prime example, I was directly my property management that all pertinent information (renter's insurance policy) was transferred properly from the old system to the new but in the next sentence was told that I must upload the document to the new platform because it was not in the system. Seeing how perplexed I was by that answer, I asked for a copy of my renter's insurance agreement and was told an emphatic NO and I needed to contact my renter's insurance carrier. Not sure why I was not able to be sent a copy of my own policy of which I provided to the complex directly. The staff has been pleasant yet due to time constraints of working 60+ hours a week, streamlining processes to make things more conducive for your renters can make or break a renters experience as well as reviewing and rating your complex. Also, there have been instances of cars being broken into. I have not personally been effected by this but being someone who has lived in numerous rental communities, I found it very disturbing that lighting is poor. Security is non existent. If the front office knows of this continuous problem, I do not see any solutions other than being told "if you see something, call the police" or "get to know your neighbors". I found it shocking that no one has thought to implement security cameras. Or even something as simple as increasing light coverage. Lighting is so horrible that it truly is a haven for being robbed or maybe something even worse. Lighting is so bad that the entrance at night is barely visible. I have seen numerous cars either miss the turn and jump the curb almost entering the ravine or they turn into the outward lane making for an accident. I would say that there are things that the complex can do to assist in assuring their renter's well-being.

                          It has been great so far. I am very satisfied. Only thing that could be better the the trash valet. Just wish it would get back on schedule. Other than that everything has been really well. Maintenance is fast with resolving issues, the front office is available when needed.

                              I love St James at Goose Creek. The ladies in the leasing office are amazing and very helpful. The maintainence workers are efficient and on time. Any issues that I have, they fix it at their earliest convenience.

                                It's 95% good. Safe, clean, affordable. The 5% is Valet trash doesn't always come, with no notice, and sometimes the car wash is broken or the trash compactor breaks often. Need better lighting in the dog park area.

                                      The apartment is good but the service provided by the office staff is terrible. They are never willing to help you. Their answer is always ... I'm sorry I can't help. Purchases are stolen from your door and they don't care. The washing and drying machines are always broken. I stayed 1 month with the broken air conditioner and they just put a small air conditioner in my livining room while I wait forever for the repair. My kids' bikes were stolen by the condo employee and put in the trash, I have a video to prove it. they do not control the entry into the pool of people who do not live here. I do not recommend this place at all. And I think it is impossible for this comment to be available for other people to know the reality of living in this place.

                                        Walls are incredibly thin and residents in my building don't seem to be considerate of others during what is supposed to be quiet hours. Kids are constantly left alone at the pool all day long which allows them to be rowdy and extremely loud. There seems to be a general lack of consideration among the tenants here that is quite annoying.

                                          Overall Pretty good place to live!Lacy is very helpful and friendly! Only downfall is definitely the parking! If you're not home by 4:30/5:00 finding a park is hard! Trash valet also sucks at times, they don't always pick up on schedule to say they add $25 fee in rent.

                                            It has been a pleasant living experience so far. I have only been there 3months, staff is friendly and helpful. I only have minimal complaints. I can hear my neighbors running water or just about anytime someone takes a shower above me. I did not realize the walls were that thin.

                                                First time living in an apartment in over 20 years, chose St James upon the recommendation of a friend. Overall, I would rate it as a positive experience. Included (for a fee) trash pick-up and internet/cable access is very reasonably priced. The apartment is fairly well maintained, and the couple of small maintenance issues I've had were taken care of very quickly. The staff who are out and about during the day do a good job with the upkeep. The biggest issue is the lack of respect some of the tenants have for the property. The parking area in front of my building is constantly littered with trash that the tenants just throw out of their vehicles instead of putting in a trash can or taking in and throwing it away. The staff clean it up and the next day it's covered with trash again. Parking near my building is sometimes a challenge, but generally there are spots near the garages which isn't too far away. The office staff is friendly and helpful most of the time. Overall it's not a negative experience living here; it's reasonably priced, convenient to travel, shopping, and the local dining options, just a few minor things that would make it that much better.

                                                  We have had a horrible experience from the beginning. We were treated poorly by staff and we had neighbors that were ridiculously loud ALL THE TIME. We were told that we could move for a fee if we chose. Nothing done, if we made a late payment we were asked rude questions and insulted by staff members....in the middle of a pandemic, which I lost my job due to.
