My time at MAA at Midtowb has been awesome! Which is why i've stayed for 3 lease terms! The leasing office team is always there to respond and have great communication with everyone, maintenance team comes quickly and finishes everything perfectly, and the amenities are amazing and kept perfect!

It's been great! The staff is super helpful when it comes to questions, maintenance is great when it comes to things needing to be fixed, and I've never had an issue while living here! It's super quiet, clean, and a great place to live!

Overall, I have really enjoyed my time here. It is quiet, the amenities are clean and nice, and property management has been very helpful when needed. My apartment has required some maintenance and had some issues moving in, but maintenance is very quick to fix all issues.

There is a lack of communication and responsibility from the management group at this property. I wouldn't recommend this apartment to a friend. The apartment itself is also very dated. I likely will not stay here long term.

The place is kept clean, the leasing office onsite communicates regularly of new updates and upcoming events. They have fast response times from the maintained team. Overall I have no complaints, very happy with my choice!

These apartments are very nice very spacious but overpriced. The dog park is disgusting the kids of building and side smell like dog pee. Maintance staff is not really helpful i have been locked out at night no one came or answered emergency number

there should be a way to pay in advance of the first of the month to pay rent or the option to pay half anytime in the month it makes no sense to have only one option to pay rent what if your on fixed salary and only get paid on the 3rd?

The community is really good. I feel warm and welcomed. They have monthly event where I can meet other residents. Also the office managers help me with any problem that I encounter. I really appreciate the experience.

The apartment staff is excellent! They are always honest and quick to respond, and the apartment is kept clean. However, it is unfortunate that the area around the apartment is always noisy with ambulances and emergency helicopters passing by, but I think the environment is good as downtown and Centennial Park are nearby.

So far pretty good, haven't really met any neighbors. The pool is nice and the events are fun, but due to work I can't attend a bunch. I've only had to call maintenance twice, a bad drain and a defective smoke detector. Still I'm really happy here and hopefully I can afford my unit when it's time to renew my lease.

I would highly recommend this community for anyone looking for a central location for Nashville. Great view out of the business suite to see the downtown beauty. The staff is always very helpful and maintenance always responds with in 24 hours. Parking is secure . I feel very safe here and the neighborhood is close to the Parthenon and a great place to walk in the morning . I highly recommend this location!!

Unwelcome Application Process

Reading through the reviews here and on Yelp, it does seem like the loud noise and shaking from the nearby train will be a problem. However, that is something that is out of control of MAA. If you have an issue with loud noises while you are asleep, do not apply to rent. On the other hand, what is within control of the the management is being more accommodating on matters they can help with. For example, I have just applied for an apartment and paid an application fee. Soon after, I received a very suspicious looking email that asks for my Social Security Number card photo and Driver's License photo. While I am investigating whether this emailer Zane Wilkinson person is real, I get another email threatening to cancel my application if they do not receive the said documents. Now this is beyond the pale. I do not appreciate getting my application cancelled and the fee usurped just 2 days after I have applied. They could have made those documents mandatory before charging my debit card. We are visiting Nashville from out of state and will have to send the docs after we get home next week. So I call the office and I get even worse news. That this Zane Wilkinson is a real person working in that office and he indeed sent that unprofessional email! However, there was some IT work going on, so Zane cannot come to the phone and neither can the supervisor. But they will call, after everything is settled and then they hung up without getting my phone number or who I was. I am still waiting and hoping that this person is a scam and my application will not be cancelled. So stay tuned. I will edit and report back more on this apartment building.

Not much to note. I just have a neighbor upstairs that is loud when they walk, but other than that everyone is quiet. I have made some friends living here. I like the pool and how close everything is to me here.

This apartment is right next to the train rail so it's pretty noisy at times. not too bothering, though. The maintenance is great and the staffs are nice in general. The gym is not so ideal- some machines are deficient and flawed, and are not fixed timely; also, the wet wipes are also constantly out.

I love this place, but the only thing is that my room is right next to the train track and it can get really loud sometimes. It honestly feels like the train gets louder at night past midnight, which is frustrating

I feel safe in the MAA Charlotte community, which is the number one priority for a young woman like myself living on my own. I feel supported by the friendly staff as well which is great. I like the convenient location by the Centennial park.

Super great community. I love the location and the safety features. Maintenance is prompt and thorough. My neighbors are quiet which I love. The staff is so friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend MAA to a friend.

It has been great so far. Outside of a fee I was charged I didn't agree with everything has been great! Maintenance speed, quietness and community. It's in a safe location. Definitely wish we had more security on site.

The community is great and this is by far the best community I've lived in and it's very safe. The apartments are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. The dog park is beautiful and the staff is very dog friendly. My only complaint is at the dog park there is a puddle of mud that is always there in the mulch. I wish the grounds keeper would just fill it up with gravel or something to keep the dogs from getting into and getting muddy. But I would give this place a 9/10

Very welcoming staff when we were applying to this location. Very helpful with any questions we had and continued to communicate without us having to follow up. Living here overall has been a great experience with everything provided and the space is great. We appreciate the parking garage's required access.

My experience has been overall positive at this apartment complex. My dog loves the dog parks and the pet spa. The maintenance service is always fast once you put in a request. My only complaint is that sometimes the trash does not always come, which I would not mind, but we do pay monthly for that

It's been mostly good. However the cleanliness of the buildings themselves (hallways, stairwells, etc.) could be better. Also repairs on gates and doors could be more timely. Last but not least for those of us that have been there after the huge rent increases in 2022 & 2023, MAA should be willing to drop our rates to that of the market if they want to retain us as renters. Especially considering rent has been dropped on all vacant units.

Rates are fair for the size and location of the apartment. Main concerns are the smells in the hallways- either smells like trash or very strong artificial fragrance. Parking gates are finicky. Guest fobs are hard to come by which can make it very difficult if you need one for a friend to watch your apartment
