Megan Is The Worst
I’m starting to see why the reviews are at a 3.7 because I wish I could give an 0 and I regret the day I ever moved into these apartments. Megan Brockway is a slumlord and a bully. Ever since she threatened me on 9/21/23 for being dissatisfied she has been making my life a living hell in these apartments. I have constantly asked to be contacted or reached out to by someone above her but she keeps saying they are expecting her to handle it which is an extreme conflict of interest. After threatening me in September once the weather started to cool down in October my “new” heater from January was not working. I reached out and it was “fixed” but was still not working. From October to January my heat was inadequate and they constantly kept “fixing” it but it was never adequate. Which was causing me to have $300-$500 energy bills. That caused more friction with Megan because she dislikes “unhappy residents” she even down talks me to the office staff and the maintenance team and gossip with other residents especially about confidential information, Ive walked in and heard it myself. Then last week a racist woman who lives in the apartments who called me expletives and racial slurs then got scared and went and lied in the office about my dog and ever since her and Megan have been buddies. I have multiple videos of her outside smoking with them and walking with them and their dog and it’s starting to give set up. Flash forward to now she comes three people deep to my door to try and force me out of my apartment by taking my dog and lying saying there were 3 back to back reports. I have been here for a year and a half and there were never any “reports” until after this morning when I asked her boss to reach out to me because she hasn’t been handling things correctly on top of the fact she’s not relaying the things she’s doing. Don’t bully me out of my apartment just relinquish the lease. Why would I want to stay in apartments that have had a dirty diaper on the stairs for 6 months and dirty hallways that smell like garbage. Just as much as Megan doesn’t want me here, I don’t want to be here. I have reached out to the tenants association and if she keeps threatening me I’ll have to involve the police.

IT's overall has been an OK experience. I have a few issues that still need to be addressed. The most major one is the bug problem. When I moved into my unit I wasn't made aware that there was and roach issue. I have brought it up to apartment management attention and I feel that not enough is being done to address this problem.

What we have experienced while living is unbelievable, we have only been living here for the past 8 months and we have been treated like ----. I don't recommend no one to live here. 8 months we was told we couldn't move in until after 3 o'clock, cause we called and asked can we come get our keys earlier that day but had to wait. They told us to wait til 3, meaning everything will be done as in cleaning replacing things and etc. We get there at 3, and nothing has been down as soon as you open the door it smelled straight like cigarettes and everything was just nasty at the point. The old apartment manager didn't enter the apartment til 30mins before we had to move in and she til have us the keys to a nasty as apartment. So you telling me they knew about the apartment and still let us move into. Nobody wants to feel uncomfortable in their own apartment. We see all these apartments getting everything we done before they moved in but we get an apartment that was filthy. When I say filthy I mean filthy it had dead roaches, animal ---- in the cracks of the carpet but they told us everything has been replaced. In my entire life of living I have never seen new carpet with animal ---- on it. Then we go down to the leasing office to tell them about the situation it's like they don't care. If that's the case I should've stayed where the hell I was before I moved in this dump. Every cabinet and door is falling off the hinges and it take time a good couple of weeks to just come fix the cabinets over and over. If I ended up moving and leaving it dirty how they did us then we will be fine and not get our deposit back but I'm tryna see, if that's fair or not cause y'all dead --- Wrong. The crazy part is that the new apartment manger knew about the situation and still didn't do nothing. All of y'all are ----ed up in the head, cause the old and the new manger let someone move into a nasty apartment then have a problem when we have something to say about it and nothing get done about the situation.

I've been here for only 5 months, and this has been the worst living situation that I've had since being in Texas. I'm being over charged and nothing in my apartment has been fixed, and if it have I've done it. Don't recommend moving here. Save your time and money.

I've had a lot of problems with maintenance here I've put in several requests over a month ago and even went to the office and no one has even came to look at them. That's only the biggest thing though I've ran into here.

Not a great experience living here. From them trying to move my move-in date with less than 24 hours notice, to roaches being all over the property, having to submit multiple maintenance request for the same thing to be fixed, cheap materials used to for the renovated apartments (towel holders falling out the wall and cabinet doors falling off), no notice about people entering the apartment, "pest control" being two drops of roach control under the kitchen sink, dirty walkways to apartments, no control over who can park in the parking lot, and many many more things. I can not wait for my lease to be up, I can stay somewhere much nicer for what I'm paying here.

Good changes
I have lived here for a long time and just moved to one of the new renovated apartments and I love it, so much better than my old unit!! It is so pretty, you got to check them out. The new people in the office are nice and friendly.

The maintenance requests that are submitted are responded to late and the condition of the units are poor in appearance. There are roaches in the current unit that I'm living in and the a/c does not work properly.

My move in was the beginning of the issues that I have had here. It was the middle of August, temperatures in the 100's, and the AC did not work in the apartment. I notified the manager immediately. The temp in the apartment was 85 degrees and rising. I could not stay here in those conditions. It took almost a week to get the AC unit replaced. The apartment was no where near what I was shown when I toured the facility. The cabinet doors were barely on and hanging crooked. The microwave was tilted at a 15 degree angle. Paint was still drying in the cabinets. The bathroom has a very small commode and it doesn't fully flush most of the time. The bathtub has been spray painted inside and the paint is peeling off and stopping up the drain. On most days there is a water leak pouring in over the tub from the apartment above. The windows do not seal, allowing heat to escape during the winter and preventing it from cooling properly in the summer. There is no lighting in the living room area and in the bedroom. This has turned out to be the worst ---- show that I have ever encountered.

Not good at all. When we call they don't answer phone at all. The new manage are not friendly. When you go the office they don't seem to be ready to help. The old management was nice, smiling and happy to help and solve the problem.

The customer service in the office is AMAZING. The upkeep of the grounds are kept up pretty good and the turn around time with maintenance request is pretty quick. Depending on which side you get it will be loud or quiet. The side nearest the back of the Kroger store is pretty quiet. I really wanted to call this place home for a few years but the roaches ran me off. BELIEVE EVERY REVIEW ABOUT ROACHES..I wish I would have taken the time to read reviews because it would have made me avoid this place all together. I had to zip lock all silverware and wash every clean dish upon using it even though it was already clean. I'd get home from work and roaches had fallen in the coffee pot. There is an infestation here and I couldn't take it. Pest control isn't often but the roaches do not respond to the treatment. Roaches crawl on the walls while you're watching TV, I was to afraid to have company over and stop buying groceries all together. You're warned

Swimming pool has been closed for nearly 2 years. Property owners had a property party with little to few people were notified about the event via email but no notice on paper flyer What a waste! The pool opened just that day!! Why bother? A tragic loss happened 2 mos ago and a meeting took place with only a few people people attended. Whyyyyy would you hold a meeting during the day when people work during these hours? Looks like Windsprint loves the control but takes no ownership to doing right by tenants . Maintenance has improved and knows to band aid temporary fixes. The pipes have a horrible smell. We pay for property pesticides and not once have seen them. Half the property lights come on 6 and some by 9pm when its dark. Ha! Foundation issues in almost all buildings, cracks in walls. "Some" of the apts have been so called remodeled with added fixtures and new painted counter tops that was done shotty at best. This was a short and sweet of it

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They have a horrible ROACH INFESTATION problem in there apartments and management doesn't do anything about it!! They are all over the place from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Not happy with these apartments. It ruins all your appliances and devices with roaches living in them. Had to throw away everything that we had their once we moved since it was infested with roaches! ?????

Do not choose to live here unless you like being towed once every few months. The upkeep and repair is shoddy and second rate, lipstick on a pig at its finest. There are other apartments with competitive rates available, please stay away from this one you'll thank me later. Staff is unavailable and not helpful. The apartments do not look like the pictures shown here at all.

Great community excellent staffs would recommend to my friends and family quite neighborhood close to Hwy 360 and shopping centers. Walking distance to the grocery store. Staff works well with residents

My only complaint is I moved here for the nice big private porch with yard- but you only allow patio furniture - no bike or work out equipt. and no bar b q- so it makes it all kind of pointless to me. Also the apartment could use newer toilets like the elongated types that are easier for men to use

Staff is friendly but any time I've reported issues with my apartment they have never been fixed. When I moved in I mentioned a leak was happening above my toilet and they just opened a hole up and left it open. I also mentioned my carpet was soaked from the rain and they just told me it wasn't from the window and didn't look more into the issue. Poor caulking around the apartment has caused roaches to be a problem when there weren't any when I moved in.

My experience hasn't been a pleasant one. I was lied to about renovations to the apartment. The paint job is horrible. The cabinets keep falling apart. They plastered the tub and it's peeling. You can't open the windows because there isn't any screens. The patio doors don't have a screen so you can't open your doors. People don't pick up their dog poop. Kids are constantly leaving trash everywhere. The apartments are old and the renovations are horrible.

The pest control here at these apartments is bad. Getting close to a year the after I have told management countless time about the issue, it has yet to be fixed. Still have a cockroach problem that is still just as bad as when we moved in.

Maintenance was professional and knowledgeable. Most items were corrected. Additional work is required once blinds are ordered. Current office staff are helpful. I have lived here for over seven years.

It's a very comfortable place to live. And staff is awesome. Very quiet apartment complex. Very clean and well keep. Neighbors are friendly and nice. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Wind Sprint apartments.

I rented the apartment based on the information and pictures on The pictures on the website were the only pictures available to me. The rental specials were also an incentive for giving the apartments a second and third look.
