One of the worse places now. This IS the ------.

Six years ago when my mother moved into this place it was REAL nice. Seriously.. really nice.. About 2 yrs to 3 yrs after that it quickly went to hell. Seriously.. this had become the ------. Crime is everywhere? Ha! Not like this place. One time my husband stopped by there and when he got out of the car he saw a man holding a rifle to another man's head. They had to call out the swat team! But yup.. that's "everywhere". People below my mom used to party and do drugs all night long and leave their small children to tend to themselves... One time when i stopped by a policeman approached me and showed me a mug shot of a man and asked if I had seen him anywhere.. He was out of parole and provided a fake address... I never ever felt safe going over there... esp at night. My mother lived there for FIVE years... and I was over there often. The units are nice, the staff is fine (except for the one time the manager or someone knocked on my mom's door and handed me a cigeratte butt and told me it was mine and i could set the grass on fire... Funny.. I was pregnant and didn't smoke) but that was just weird. Price is pretty good too... Oh and a nice neighbor of my mother's actually left her house for 5 minutes and someone kicked her door in and stole her dog... Crime is everywhere, ya we know that.. but in all the places I have personally lived nothing as ridiculous as this. Oh and the prostitutes that stroll up and down the sidewalk on Carter are real nice.. They sure are friendly (seriously) and you may be entertained occasionally by seeing them get picked up by a cop.

The Turth

I have lived in a lot of apartments and not one of them is perfect! I can t buy a house because I am a single mom on a limited income, so I have to rent. Windsprint is the best apartments I have lived in! I moved to Windsprint because I loved the floor plan, the property was clean, the price was right and it was close to my work. I am happy here. The office is real friendly; they wave at you when they see you in the parking lot, call to check on you and they care. NO, it is not an act they truly care. Over Spring break they had things to entertain the kids! They played games, had snow cones my daughter had a blast! Maintenance is great too. They fix the things when they go wrong and don t even leave a mess. Some of you talked about crime. Don t you know crime is everywhere? Windsprint has security that is more then I can say about some other apartments I have lived at. If you need a great place to live you can t go wrong! If you already live here be thankful you live somewhere that cares. Instead of complaining ask what you can do to help. Management can only do so much it is up to us to do our part. GREAT JOB WINDSPRINT I LOOK FORWARD TO THIS SUMMER!

i ain't here to complain...

all these "this is the worst place eveR" people need to check themselves. nowhere has no crime even real nice places in los colinas. i like it and i'll keep on staying here. if you want better neighbors around you whatever go somewhere where you pay more.. if everybody took pride in where they lay they heads it would look better. it's not PERFECT, really nowhere is but I like it a lot and i stayed here awhile. I keep quiet to myself and nothins happened to me. if it does, I know I got the insurance they said to get so I'm cool.

I Love my apartment

I have lived here for 2 years and have not had any problems. Maybe for those people having problems you should't drive around town with your music blaring so everyone in Grand Prairie and Arlington dont know what have in your car... HHmmmm wonder why you got broken into. And since the management hired the onsite patrol there have not been many problems. I love my apartment and the office staff is great. They are always been friendly and helpful. The work orders are always done on time and done right the first time. I recommend anyone to live here. And I will be renewing my lease.

worst ever, robbing break in and anything else

Moved over here in 12/24/2009 an this is the worst place ever people apt get broke into everyday people get robbed at gun point. Just few min. ago I was walking the dog and someone glass door was broke and another lady apt door got kicked in. the apt manager do not do anything and the maintence men went to jail for stealing out of propertys, also look at cold case files the other apts owned by milestone property was on there because the maintence man was raping women and killing them back in 2000. For the amount of rent we pay need top notch security.

TURN AROUND QUICK!!!!!!

1ST OFF THE APARTMENT MANGER ALONG WITH HER STAFF AND MAINTENCE ARE SO FREAKING RUDE,IRRESPONSIBLE, AND UN CARING. IF I ONLY KNEW WHAT I KNOW NOW I WOULD HAVE NEVER MOVED HERE. THEY ARE SUCH RIP OFFS!! THE BATHROOM TITLE HAS MOLD AND ALL THEY CAN SAY IS WIPE IT WITH BLEACH!!!! EXCUSE THE HELL OUT OF ME!!! YOU PLACE A MAINTENCE ORDER AND THEY DONT COME FOR MONTHS AND SUNDAYS!!!WHAT DA HELL!!! THIS PLACE HAS GIVEN ME NOTHING BUT THE BLUES!!!! YOU CANT FIND ANYWHERE TO PARK,GLASS EVERY WHERE IN THE PARKING LOT,ANIMALS RUNNING EVERY WHERE, AND MOST OF ALL THEY ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO DISRESPECTFUL!!!!!!!! Horrible!

Should have listened to the reviews before moving in...DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE APT! Before I moved in I read the reviews and call myself riding around the apts one night (apparently on a good night) and it looked decent (boy was I wrong). I moved in and the floor model is nothing like what I received. First they gave the wrong apt I was suppose to get the upgrade and then they didnt have an upgrade available. The 1 I received was HORRIBLE! It was filthy...there are huge brown stains on the counters in the bathrooms (manager said it cant be fixed, I thought that is the reason for security deposits????? which I think are pocketed), huge pieces of the carpet was missing in my bedroom, there are red stains in the carpet (they came and shampooed again but still there), tile floor is lifted and pieces missing, dishwasher was filthy had black stuff at the bottom, basins missing and dirty (which was covered by paint), not to mention the neighbors dont care about the outside they throw trash everywhere. I have never been in an apt that look like this. Tile in the bathtube was lifted and molded (although they did come fix that which should have been fixed before I moved in), ceiling is falling...everytime I come home pieces of the ceiling are on the floor. Garbage disposal smells after pouring bleach down it once a week and the worker that gave me the apt had the nerve to tell me my apt was nice when giving me the key. I dont think they even looked at the apt when they gave it me or just didnt care and on top of that my boyfriends car was stolen right in front of our apt. So, If you want low class living move here, but if not this place is not for you.

Decent if you're single....maybe

I moved to Arlington for school and my roommate and I picked these apartments without checking out the area too well. We can now say that was a BIG mistake. Living here is okay and I like our apartment and the price but some of the neighbors are very questionable. I would not live here with children because it can be kinda shady and people can get loud at times. The mgmt does try to keep the grounds clean and looking nice but it's the people that live there who leave trash everywhere. One day my dog picked up a condom in the grass, that was really gross. Some of the neighbors are nice but we have had people across from us who were kicked out because they were constantly fighting and yelling (with their door open). Sometimes my apartment smells like smoke, especially in the bathroom, I'm guessing b/c our neighbors are smoking in their apartment. Parking can be hard if you work late, sometimes i have to park a great distance from where i actually live. covered spots are like $20 a month, hardly anyone uses these. On one note, the tile on the ledge in my shower (like where you put your shampoo) has been coming up and little bugs come out of it. I have reported this to the office and they just tell me that it's happening in other showers and they have to contract out to have it fixed. So i've been dealing with these little bugs, thank god they're little and just go down the drain. But still, I shouldn't have to deal with this. These are nice apartments, we have "hard wood" floor, a fireplace, and vaulted ceilings... but I guess it's all about who you rent to. (I say "hard wood" because it's more like imitation thin stuff, it will actually stick to your foot and come up in the bathroom when you stand at the sink)

not safe for kids

this is the worst place ever. i have a 2 year old and i don't feel like we can play outside. there are always broken beer bottles on the playground. there is broken glass on the tennis court and all around the grounds. the maintainence crew has slacked off and done everything so half --- for so long, that the place is practically falling down around us. they take at least a month to get to a work order, and that's if you're lucky. it's usually more like 2 months. the leasing office staff don't care about helping you with anything, probably because all they hear are complaints all day.

This place is more than SUCK...

I moved from GA few days ago and I ended in this place. I didn't have a lot of time looking for something better. Let me explain why you shouldn't rent at any cost at this place. First, the place wasn't clean, smell HORRIBLE, there were dead bugs all over the place, the bath tub is NASTY!!!!!! and more. Second, the leasing agents are the worse of the worse, they're rude, irresponsable, doesn't care of our needs. In other words...you can find something better than this place at better price. Don't waste your time and $$$$ in this garbage call Windsprint Apartments.

I live at a Tvo Property

I don't live at Windsprint but my friends do. I have friends at the other two places too, Cypress Club and Hunter's Cove. I agree there are problems around here, but not anything more than anywhere else. We were surfing the web over the weekend and found this site. So we wanted to speak up and say something good about the places that deserve it. All three places have upgrades and that is really nice.

This place sucks beyond recognition!!! Rip off scam artists!!!

If you want to live in a public housing styled slum with 1970's appliances move to windsprint. If you want to deal with an idiotic staff who won't solve any problems move there! If you don't mind filth, bad installation and gigantic bugs crawling through you windows move there. Don't fall for the virtual tour, it's nothing like what you'll actually be renting. If you move in to WINDSPRINT, you might as well get you shopping cart, tattered clothes, tin can and usher in your new life style. They will rent at a false pretense, make you pay everything upfront without a walk thru and not give your money back for an apartment that won't be ready; EVER!!! Empty promises and disappointments are the results of your money's worth if you plan to go here. They lie and cheat you out of your deposit and leave you on the street no matter how far away you came. There should be a federal investigation against real estate agencies that are fleecing the public on a grand scale. The Better Business Bureau won't do anything about it neither! Don't waste your time nor your money!

Horrible is an UNDERSTATEMENT

Okay were should I began. When we moved in the apartment staff asked us to come back because they had not shampooed the carpet okay this is typical but that should have been my first sign that this place was not right. I had stayed in these apartments back in 2007 and they were quiet and I didn't have any problems with the staff members. This time our apartment was a nice size and the price was pretty good. But remember you get what you pay for. The crime rate is ridiculous and there were so many break ins while we were there (6months). My neighbor even had her door kicked in. Living in fear is not a good thing. So when our lease was up I gave a 30 day notice which then they said a 60 day notice was required and I would have to stay another month. Thankfully I can read and I am not naive, so I looked over my contract and it said that they are required to give a renewal note or something before our 60 day notice is due reminding us of our approaching end of lease. Well since they fell to do that like they fell to do a lot of things I was able to just turn in my 30 day notice and move out when I intended to. Once we moved out they assured us that they would send our deposit money to the forwarding address. Two months later and still haven't received anything. I call the -------- staff today and the "manager" (who can barely speak english) claimed that our apartment was left uncleaned and they were taking out $60 for taking our trash out and $75 for not cleaning the restrooms. I went off I mean are you Freaking serious!!!! I personally cleaned the apartment myself. They are a bunch of crooks/idiots and I am so glad we moved out of there. Trust me the price is not worth the headache that you have to deal with. Do not lease here!!!

I have never been treated so badly!!

The staff here are soo bad!! They could care less about you or the apartments! I have some VERY bad leaks in my bedroom, both bathrooms and the air cond. was backed up and leaking as well! The bedroom was the worse and one night when it was storming there was a steady stream of water coming in at 5 places in my bedroom!! I called and called and called and finally 2 weeks after they told me oh the roofing company will get there when they get there and stop calling. The staff is always changing but there is always one person who has stayed that really should be the one fired cause she truly is a heartless b*tch! I do have to say one staff member, her name is Connie, is very nice but at the same time nothing gets done when you talk to her as well. The cops are ALWAYS over here. They charge you for covered parking but then when someone else parks in your spot they well you oh sorry nothing you can do unless they are there for 24 hours. The apartments are very big but that doesn't make up for how run down they are! During a maintenance call one of the guys told me how bad they apartments really where (and I thought mine was bad!!) and how the people in the office tell them just to do the work fast and get out and use old parts if needed.. anything to save a few bucks! Yet they wonder why people are always calling back with the same complaints! Please don't be fooled by the big apartments or the fakeness of the staff cause once you move in they turn on you!!! They will lie then tell you off when you call them on it!

They Quote Statues and Don't Follow Them!!!

I've lived here for 6 years - why? I don't know, I got comfortable. The management changes all the time, but the management that's there now, is the worst. I wasn't able to pay my rent until 12/6, knowing I was going to have late fees. They came to lock me and my boyfriend out on 12/5....I never received a lockout notice. But, conveniently found one after the fact on my couch - which states that according to Section 92.0081 of the Texas Property Code they could lock me out. According to this code, "However, the owner must first notify you at least three days before the locks are to be changed." The notice was dated 12/4 - and they came on 12/5 to lock us out. This is the thanks I get for living there so long!

DON'T GET SUCKED IN!

APARTMENT COMMUNITY HIRED A TEMP THAT GRABBED MY CELL PHONE FROM MY HAND & THREW IT TO THE GROUND BREAKING IT! I WAS CALLING THE MANAGERS PHONE NUMBER TO LEAVE A VOICE MAIL SINCE MANAGER WAS NOT IN-AND COMPLAINING ABOUT TEMP NOT ASSISTING ME WHEN I FOUND A CAR IN MY RESERVED COVERED PARKING SPACE W/ 2 PEOPLE HAVING SEX INSIDE IT! SHE WAS TICKETED & WENT TO JAIL AFTER SKIPPING COURT DATE. THE APARTMENT COMPLEX FIRED HER & DID NOT APOLOGIZE. THE APARTMENTS HAVE GONE THROUGH 10 MANAGERS (LITERALLY) SINCE 2003. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES APPOINTMENTS WITH YOU THEY DON'T KEEP, THEY SUPERFICIALLY FIX PROBLEMS SO MAINTENANCE REQUESTS ARE OFTEN REPEATS. I AM FINALLY GETTING OUT OF THERE-THE MURDER AT THE COMPLEX LAST WEEK & THE $100 INCREASE IN RENT THAT THEY ARE WANTING FOR A RENEWAL OF A 12MTH LEASE IS UNBELIEVABLE! DON'T GET SUCKED IN BY THE BIG APARTMENTS! IT IS THE ------ & YOU WILL NEVER SEE A FAMILIAR FACE IN THE APARTMENT STAFF.

In my opinion this is a BAD place to live!!! The people who work here don't even know how to do their job! They could not even get us in without messing up! They lost our application, kept telling us to call them in advance to set us a time to sign lease then we get there and they were all an hour late to work and walked in like nothing was wrong!! They could care less and their maintence crews walk in without warning! I was sleeping one morning and someone just walked right in and start working on a work order we didn't even place!! They said we placed it that morning and we really placed it a few months back and they fixed it in a timely matter but they can't even keep track of what they have and have not done yet! And the bugs!! There are ants everywhere!! Even in our living room which was (empty for 2 months) and misqitoes (hehe i know spelling wrong) where in our bathrooms and they said they could not do anything about it! ALL OVER THIS PLACE IS SOOO BAD!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY

Worst Place On Earth to Live

I have lived in this complex for 2 years now.<br>These are soe really nice units, very spacious and the living space is Wonderful.<br>However the maintence is AWFUL..If you like having closet doors, don't move here. If you like having things fixed in a timely manner, don't move here. If you like having things fixed right the first time, don't move here. If you hate rats, don't live here. If you want a refrigerator that works properly, don't move here.<br>If you like friendly and courteous management..DON'T LIVE HERE. I am so fed up with these people, I can't wait for my lease to be up so that I can get the HELL OUT. Living in windsprint is a NIGHTMARE.

Wonderful place

Windsprint is very nice quite community. I dont know why everyone writes those awful things about the property. Everywhere you go you will have mait. issues. You will always have unsatisfied tenants! Great place to live!!!!

Nice Quite Community

I have lived here for 7 months. I see that a lot of people have complained about maitanence. There has been a lot of changes in the office and I know that they are trying there best to make Windsprint a great place to live. The office staff is very nice. The apartments are huge and they have great specials. I would reccomend Windsprint a good place to live.

RUN AWAY!!!

This is by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in!! The management is aweful, they never fix anything, and the police are out here all the time. Our dishwasher was broken for 2 moths before they even came out to look at the problem. Our outside ledge for our window fell completely off due to the rotting wood on the outside of our building. They still have not replaced or covered the hole it left in the side of the building, so when it rains the people under us have a flooded and mildewing bedroom. And their wall is moldy and constanly stays wet along with ours. All in all, I would stay out of here!

Put your deposit in your wallet and walk away... FAST!!!

My best friend and I rented a two bedroom apartment at this place and, as others have said, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! <br> <br>First, the management is so unorganized... When we signed the lease, they told us that we were in one apartment, and the apartment they actually had us in, was a completely different one. <br> <br>Then there's the maintenance. We had a ceiling fan with a light in the living room, and asked them a zillion times to put a light bulb in, we were there for 2 1/2 years, and it never got replaced. And the worst of all, our apartment was INFESTED with roaches. We had to clean our kitchen after EVERY MEAL... We couldn't leave ANY food out, or else the bugs would multiply. we would unplug our phone w/ an answering machine, and a swarm of bugs would run out ot the outlet. Our air conditioner wouldn't get any cooler than 80 degrees... When we moved out of the apartment, I worked for 3 hours to clean the apartment, the place was impecable. I missed cleaning the oven, and they tried to say I owed them $69 for cleaning expenses... The layouts of the apartments wer beautiful, but the management there acted as if they were fresh out of elementry school...
