OMG I do not know where to even start...but guess I'll start with the day we moved in a year ago. We were supposed to have an full upgraded apartment, once we signed the lease then went to view the apartment(I know totally backwards, now I know that ) it wasn't even upgraded at all!!! We went back to the office before even putting anything in the apartments. The management then did confirm that we were moved into the wrong apartment and that they will fix it and we could either wait two more weeks and they fix that apartment or we could wait a month until another apartment was ready...of course since we had no where to go and had our u-hual packed already we said we would move-in and let them do the upgrades while we were there...skip to 2 weeks later, freaking manager quit and when I told the new manager about the problem she said if I didn't have it in writing that they could not do anything (even though she called corporate and they confirmed it)...corporate basically ended up taking $50 off my rent(wow didn't know upgrades where that cheap. Any who I stuck with that because I blamed myself for singing the lease before viewing it so I just took that loss...I've been here going on a year next month. THANK GOD I PUT IN MY 60 DAY NOTICE....They have had 3 different manger since I've been hear in 11 freaking months no lie!!!! IT HASD BEEN 4 SHOOTINGS IN 11 MONTHS 2 PEOPLE DIED IN THOSE SUTUATIONS AND THE OTHER 2 WERE NOT FATAL...I didn't know I moved to the hood of Arlington...I have a 2 year old which is scary because bullets don't have names on them. You have to put AT LEAST 4/5 Work orders in before anything is fixed and then they half do it when they come.... I pay for pest control(mandatory) but when I put in a work order for them to come out I SWARE THEY NEVER COME!!!!!! ANTS ARE CRAZY EVERYWHERE AND SO ARE SPIDERS...LAST BUT NOT LEAST MY AIR WENT OUT YESTERDAY AND WHEN I WENT TO TELL THEM ABOUT IT AT 4:30 REMIND YOU THEY DON'T CLOSE UNTIL 5:30 OR 6:00..When I knocked on the door the lady in the office looked at me and turned her head(I straight called corporate on my way walking from the office...I left a message and tried one more time to go back up there at about 4:52..when I got there NO ONE WAS THERE!!!! All the cars that were there were gone....I have a two year old daughter and it was 97 to 103 outside yesterday seems like since putting in that 60 day notice they have been beyond rude but that is okay because the lease is up on July 31st rent is due on July 1st and if my A/C is not working by TODAY !!!!!!!!!!! My hand won't be working to write that rent check !!!!! This is my first time ever writing a review I have NEVER DID THIS OUT OF ALL 4 OF MY APARTMENTS I'VE LIVED IN BEFORE... THIS ---- WAS WELL WORTH WRITITNG A REVIEW PLEASE DON'T RENT HERE I SEEN REVIEWS BEFORE I RENTED HERE BUT I WAS DESPERATE AND FELT LIKE IT COULDN'T BE THAT BAD...SO I WENT WITH IT THIS PLACE IS ------ GARBAGE TRASH DON'T BE LIKE ME AND BE HARD HEADED.. This is by far the worst apartment complex ever. They started off by telling me one price for the rent and then trying to increase it. After that, they changed the unit they were going to give me. When you come to view the apartment, they show you a model. It's a scam! Make sure you insist on seeing your actual apartment before you move in. I didn't do that and ended up with an apartment that everything is falling apart, filthy and roach infested to the max!!! The complex is dirty and it takes them a month to fix things! It's a bad deal all around!

I have lived there for about 4 years now. When I moved old employees were great and maintenance personal was great. As soon as the they were fired everything went downhill. The new office staff was rude with the exception of 1 of the girls who no longer works there either. The manager are the worst, along with 1 of the maintenance man who is their friend from the other complex they moved from. I have been waiting for 2 yrs to have the dumb wet bar in the living room (you can tell how old they are)get fixed, so I gave up on that. I have been waiting for they bathroom ceiling to get fixed and still yet they have not done it. The main maintenance man is the worst and lazy as he can be. I would not recommend anyone to move in to this apartments. Also, almost forgot that I know 2 person were jumped at the mail boxes and 1 person was killed at the apartments. I can't wait for my lease to be over so that I can move from this hell hole.

I have lived at Windsprint for several years in 2 different apartments. I really like it here, especially now. I have noticed changes for the good. The new maintenance and office team are very friendly and helpful. This place has really cleaned up and the grounds look nice. Not as noisy as it used to be.

I have just relocated to Texas. I was very surprised to find the best apartment in Texas. The staff at Windsprint apartments made me feel at ease with my relocation. The office staff hit it out of the ball park when it came to my walk-thru. I was really amazed !!! My apartment is close to everything, Shopping and best of all freeway access. Thank you Sandra, Alma, Leslie and the boss Ms. Nicole. You were right I DO LOVEIT HER!!!! .

DON'T MOVE HERE! I REPEAT DON'T MOVE HERE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! I'm a current resident. Management changes every couple months. Newest management is rude and has no concept of customer service. They aren't knowledgeable and constantly have to refer you to the apartment manager who is rude herself. Good luck on repairs! They just conveniently keep "misplacing" the work order. If it's a serious issue you have to contact corporate to get any real plumbers or maintenance done. They do the bare minimum and patch jobs at best. You will constantly need repairs for the same issues. They have increased rent 2 of the 3 times I've resigned my lease and the month to month fee is ASTRONOMICAL! Pool open maybe a total of 2 whole weeks in the summer. There's always some lame excuse why it's closed. They never want to clean it so don't let that be a main attraction for you. No community events or resident appreciation. The only thing they are passionate about is getting their rent. So whether you've been here 4 weeks or 4 years if you're even late on the water they are threatening to put you out. I really don't understand why rent keeps going up as they haven't made any improvements on property in over 5yrs but they constantly are raising the prices and fees of things. Police are always here. Property is getting vandalized. I'm soooooooooooo glad I will finally be leaving this hell hole! Save yourself the trouble and headache. Look elsewhere!

MESSAGE FROM THE PROPERTY OWNERS: We don't value our tenants, managements or other working staff. Do yourself a favor and don't lease with us because we love collecting your checks each month while we don't answer basic maintenance repairs or follow-up with that tenant. So far we are working on our fourth management team. If you work with us then do yourself a favor and quit if you can't handle the tenants the last manager did. We fire only hard working manager. Although the property may be falling apart we still get rich and stay on vacation. Oh by the I'm sorry if you were sexually assaulted or rob you should call the police in any situation, we are not going to pay for security on the property. Low income people don't deserve that, besides that is extra money being wasted and we need all the money from you. In short, we don't give a fck!

I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR ABOUT 3YEARS I BELIEVE, I HAVE NEVER BEEN LATE ON MY RENT NEITHER I AM A TROUBLE RESIDENT THAT WILL PUT IN WORK OURDERS OFTEN BECAUSE NOTHING REALLY HAPPEN IN MY APARTMENT. BUT I HAVE PUT IN LIKE 4WORK ORDERS IN THAT TIME IVE LIVED HERE BUT THEY NEVERS SEEM TO BE DONE IF THEY DO IS BECAUSE I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY BE REMINDING THEM ABOUT IT... I LIKE THE LOCATION AND THE APARTMENT BUT I THINK ITS TIME FOR ME TO MOVE OUT ITS BEEN STRESSFUL NOT BEING ABLE TO GET MY WOR ORDER DONE AFTER YOU ARE A GOOD RESIDENT.. If you want to rent an apartment where the management allows drug dealers, hookers, pimps, loud music all hours of the day and night, will not honor the lease terms, refuses to fix anything no matter how many written maintenance request you place, the grounds are dirty, muddy and not maintained. If you like the Manager (Joy) to yell at you, scream at you, tell you you are disrespecting her, lie to you, call the cops on you for making a complaint, is condescending, rude, nasty and just doesn't care. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! If not, DON'T MOVE HERE!

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I've had numerous maintenance issues that have never been addressed. I had to call code enforcement for them to replace the plugs in my kitchen and bathrooms that were shorting out. I have had numerous issues with Joy, the manager. Having worked in the apartment industry myself, her behavior is totally unacceptable. She's on a power trip. She screams and yells at you in front of other residents. I've complained to the management company about her, but they don't seem to care. I've turned in requests to have things fixed in my apartment and they never get done. Instead of even reporting them now, my husband just fixes them. If I had the money to get out of this lease, then I would. Please, please, please do not move here. The rent is overpriced for what you get, and the walls are paper thin. I'm a person that pays my rent on time, every time. This month, I was in the hospital on the 1st-3rd and was unable to get to the office to pay my rent until the 4th. I'm not asking for something for nothing, I was willing to pay the late fees, but she told me, "If you weren't always late, this wouldn't be an issue." I've never been late, usually early. If you want a nice place to live, DO NOT MOVE HERE. If you want to live in an overpriced slum lord property, then look no further, Windsprint is the place for you. I've never hated living anywhere because I believe everyone makes their house a home, but I HATE WINDSPRINT and the employees that work here are rude. If I could put a negative rating on this complex, then I would.

WOW!!! Just read a handful of the reviews. I have been on this property 3 and a half years. It was ok, until the new company came in January. First of all JOY, is truly rude and a liar and very disrespectful. She is not management material. I have countless times asked to fix this or that. They are still working on my move in sheet from July. They made promises to fix everything on that sheet. What a joke. I've had to call Code Compliance for heating, hot water tank, electrical issues. Thank goodness they do their job. Heating unit replaced, hot water tank replaced, and the electrical issue is a come and go. Sometimes it works on one side of the living area, sometimes it don't. So what do we do. Do we yell at them because it is possible that they are hard of hearing. Do we keep checking with them because it is possible that they have a short term memory issues. Everything is possible, right. So we give them the benefit of the doubt. Well. I have concluded that they are none of the above. Joy is one rude person, and she has serious issues with what she calls managerial skills. She is training her employees to be just like her!!!! They make faces at you, screen the calls, lock the door when they see you pull up, and are liars as well. They all say we, we, we, we, and no one does anything. I have complained about a lot of things because it is necessary to have this service orders addressed. She has decided that she wants to release me from my lease. WOW JOY, GREAT JOB. You are such a combative unhappy person. Does that sound familiar? Maybe if we all took you along with your unprofessional employees to court, we would all be ok. What you fail to realize dummy, is that we are in a contract and you have to fix our problems. You are violating our contract and I will see you in court. If it's easier to release me than fix the problems with my apartment then so be it. You people shouldn't get any stars, there should be something available to use for poor rating across the board!!!! I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT. THEY HAVE ROACHES, WORK ORDERS ARE NEVER DONE ON TIME, MANAGEMENT IS POOR AND DISORGANIZED. MANAGER JOY IS VERY RUDE AND RACIST, ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW UP WITH YOU ON WORK ORDERS/REQUESTS. IF YOU ARE LATE ON YOUR RENT THEY GIVE YOU AN UNCONDITIONAL EVICTION NOTICE THE NEXT DAY. GOES AGAINST TENANTS RIGHTS CONSTANTLY. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE REPORTED FOR THE LACK OF PEST CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE. THIS PLACE WOULD BE NICE IF IT WAS UNDER BETTER MANAGEMENT AND THEY GOT RID OF THE ROACHES AND ACTUALLY YOU KNOW, CARED ABOUT THE TENANTS AND THE PROPERTY INTERIOR.

I'm usually not one to complain but this is a Horrible place! do not move here, they have roaches, mice, and the manager is rude and discriminating! nothing gets fixed on time and they have even their own staff change all the time. no one remembers any work orders you put in and you wont see anything get done unless you constantly "request" them to do their job. I have put in a work order for repair on my closet door and that was 2 months ago! I've even asked to see my past 2 requests that I submitted and they magically dissappeared, that is how UNPROFESSIONAL they are! Please do not move here, there are better places, this place only wants your money and will waste every moment of your time and energy!

I visited this complex over 2 weeks ago and filled out an app because I liked that it was right off of 360. Days went by without hearing from staff. I called multiple times receiving voicemail each time and left messages still without a callback. A week went by and I finally reached someone. She stated she was waiting on employment verification. I called my employer and he stated he already sent it and he went ahead and sent it again. Staff said they would call me back when they got verification. The following week I went to another complex, applied and was called back with approval in less than 2 hours. Windsprint called me Friday to tell me I was approved and could me in Saturday. Really? My stuff is already moved into a bigger and gated apt. Please called your prospective tenants back in a timely manner. Does it usually take 2 weeks to let your tenants know they can move into your complex? I know now to read the reviews 1st.

New Management no good at all they come to work to get a pay check! Please don't move! These apartments are infested with BEDBUGS!!!!!!!!!! Next door neighbors are filthy nasty animals they put there trash by door and leave it there along with nasty paper. RUN!!!!

LET'S JUST SAY I HATE THE FACT I RE SIGNED MY LEASE, CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE THE HELL OUT OF HERE. THEY WANT YOU TO PAY YOUR RENT ON TIME, BUT CAN'T COME AND FIX A DAMN THING, YOU HAVE TO CONSTANTLY PUT IN REQUEST, AND OF COURSE THOSE GET MISPLACE, AND TO TOP IT OFF THE OFFICE MANAGER JOY NEVER REMEMBERS ANYTHING, OR THE STAFF. YOU CAN NEVER GET ANYONE TO CALL YOU BACK OR FOLLOW UP WITH YOU ON REQUEST, THEY WILL TELL YOU,"I WILL SEND SOME ONE OVER", OR " WE WILL CALL YOU BACK". THIS NEVER HAPPENS, UNLESS YOU MAKE THE FOLLOW UP CALL YOURSELF. THE LANDSCAPING, IS KEPT UP TO A REGULAR, BUT THEY , REFUSE TO PLANT GRASS WHERE DIRT IS,THEN WHEN IT RAINS YOU HAVE MUD SPLASH ON YOUR CAR, SIDE WALKS, A HOT --- MESS, BUT YET AGIAN THEY ASK YOU FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS. ONLY THING THEY HAVE DONE WAS ADDED SAND OVER THE DIRT LOL. AND PAINT THE OUTSIDE OF THE APT. IF THEY HAD A BETTER STAFF TEAM, AND ORGANIZATION IN THE OFFICE AND GOT THINGS DONE, IT MIGHT JUST BE OKAY HERE.

Where do I start. I'll start with the "good". Conveniently located to access highway 360, 20 & 30, Kroger grocery store near by. Offered great move in special, so that was a plus at the time. (ha!yeah right. They always say: you GET what you pay for). Large roomy floor plan. THE "BAD & UGLY" 1) ROACHES!!!! Yes I said it, the apartment was infested with roaches and there was no way for us to know that upon viewing the apt before moving in. We complained, complained, complained and then complained some more. They charge you a monthly pesticide fee yet we still had the problem up until the day we moved out. A waste of money. They have a guy come spray upon your request. You have to box up your kitchen for what I don't know because of the so called "strong chemicals" they used might as well been water because it did absolutely nothing for the problem. We ended up buying all kinds of products to get rid of the roaches ourselves because complaining to the office did NO good. We got the problem some what under control but they were never ever completely gone. How can you get rid of the problem when the problem is originating from somewhere else in the building? 2) Be prepared to have an unusually HIGH light bill. Yup, the ac/heating units aren't big enough to properly cool/heat the apartment. We moved in, in the Spring of 2013 immediately had to request maintenance fix the ac because the apt stayed hot all the time. No matter how low you set the temp the temp in the apt remained high. They sent maintenance in and he used some fancy gadget where he pointed it at the vents to get a temp reading and told us the temp in the apt. I called it BS because I don't care what the lil gadget says its HOT in here. He claimed he added Freon to the unit outside, but it made no difference. Needless to say after complaining multiple times it did no good, so we stopped and unfortunately just had to deal with it. Month after month the bill remained high because the ac/heat is constantly running so forget having it on auto because it don't work and you'll notice right away when you get damn near a $200 light bill every month. No joke. 3) Parking sucks!!! You have a parking sticker to only have to either park in the visitors sections or park far far away from your apt because all the parking is taken. My downstairs neighbor alone had 4 vehicles, so parking was never convenient. OH and lets not forget the horrible drainage they have when it rains. The sidewalk to your apartment becomes flooded and muddy. 4) They recently changed maintenance companies and that's a headache in itself. You have to put in maintenance request multiple times. And its always, "I'll send someone over there by the end of the day. Oh we were so busy, I forgot. Really? Where they do that at. Horrible customer service. When they do decide to show up they only fix one out of the three things you requested in the first place. I can happily say were no longer residents here. Thank you JESUS!!

I've been here almost a year and I moved here based on the experience I had when I lived here back in 2002. When we first moved in, our apartment was not ready. I set off 8 Raid Max bombs to try to get rid of the roach infestation. We couldn't sleep in the apartment the first night. In the 12 years I've lived in Arlington, I've never had roaches, not even when I lived here the first time. I had to set off a grand total of 32 bombs (8 per bombing, 4 bombings) before we got rid of the infestation. In addition to that, the complex exterminated twice more. Finally we got to the point where I didn't have to wake up with roach bites on my arms and legs. I still see a monthly charge for an exterminator that I've only seen 3 times in the year that we've been here. We still see an occasional roach, but nothing like when we first moved in. Six months ago, my neighbor's bathroom sprung a leak above me. We reported it for 5 months straight before it was repaired. It leaked into my closet ruining clothing and the carpet. The new management repaired the leak quickly and the manager, Joy, came personally to see the damage. The repairmen came the next day and fixed the ceiling, and moldy sheetrock but the mildewed, smelly carpet is still in my closet, smelling up my apartment. I am an asthmatic that has been constantly sick the last 6 months that I've been here breathing in this mold and mildew. There is always the smell of weed coming through my apartment from someone's vents 24/7 and the parking is atrocious!! If you have more than one car, forget about parking near your apartment! Not gonna happen. If you have visitors, they better get there before dark to get one of the coveted visitor's parking spaces or prepare to get their cars towed. The parking lot and sidewalks are muddy whenever it rains or when they leave the sprinklers on, which is all the time. The walls are paper-thin so I can always hear my noisy neighbors upstairs and across the walkway. The plumbing is horrible. The toilets overflow after every fifth flush, whether it's solid or liquid waste. The hot water runs cold after 5 minutes when taking a shower. The apartments are difficult to heat and cool resulting in extremely high electric bills (almost $300 a month for a 1 bdr apartment that is inhabited 8 hours a day by 2 people). The water bill is shared equally with the number of units in the building, regardless of how many people are in the apartment. That means that if you are one person living in a one bedroom apartment, you will pay the same as 2-6 people living in the same size apartment in your building. I know that sounds improbable but my upstairs neighbors actually do have 6 people in that apartment. The pet policy is a joke! There is supposed to be a breed and size restriction but there are residents who have pit bulls and rottweilers on their balconies! The appliances are old and outdated. The burners on the stove never work and the refrigerator and freezer never work properly. When the refrigerator is turned up high enough for the freezer to freeze, everything in the refrigerator freezes. When the refrigerator is set to the normal operating temperature, everything in the freezer thaws and ruins. Now, they have removed the nightdrop, the office is closed on Sundays, they are increasing the rent by $50 for lease renewal and charging $20 for parking. It's not clear whether or not that is $20 per month or $20 per lease term. Right now, I'm sitting in an apartment that is absolutely sweltering because my a/c hasn't worked all weekend but the office is closed so it won't be addressed until Monday at the earliest, and they're so busy working on the outside of the apartment, who's to say they will handle it then? My thermostat reads 90!!! I hate to say it, but I can't wait to get away from here! Update: It took 4 days to send someone to fix the a/c but it only took him 10 minutes to get it working. The outside unit wasn't even connected and there was no freon in it. I'm so glad I didn't have it running all weekend. My electrical bill would've been astronomical and it may have burned up the a/c unit. Update #2: I just moved out of these apartments 06/07/14. A couple of days before I moved out, I slept on the living room carpet. Woke up the next morning with what I thought were spider bites, went to the doctor and it turns out I have a MRSA infection that I contracted from the carpet.Now I have painful sores all over several parts of my body that were exposed to the carpet and I have to take oral antibiotics and use a prescription antibiotic cream for the next three months to clear it up. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

I have lived here for almost a year - and I am ready to LEAVE! I have had no problems what so ever with my actual apartment, actually I love it. It is the perfect size and the complex is very quiet. I have never had a problem with the maintanace like others have mentioned.. they have always fixed everything i have asked in a timley manner. My problem is with the management. With the new management it seems they are only trying to fix up the outside of the complex and not worry about the inside. They have also removed the "night drop" for us to place rent in - this becomes a problem when I work the same hours as the office, and i am unable to make it in time to have my rent not be late. There is an option to pay online - but it charges. Another thing that upsets me is my rent is going to go up 50$! if i renew my lease... for 50$ more i could have a much nicer apartment... NO THANKS! Everytime i have gone into the office, they are very rude - and never helpful. So now, i dont even bother. other than the management change, i have had no problems with this complex - and i used to recommend everyone i knew! but... not anymore.

I agree with the previous resident that wrote an honest review about windsprint apartments. Like the previous resident stated do not believe the good reviews its nothing but the management that are writing their own reviews. I dont know even where to start, I am a current resident and I am so ready for my lease to exhaust. Unlike some residence that have been here for years, I have been here since 2013 and since I have been here there been nothing but problems. My family I move here only temporarily until we were situated in Texas. Inside my unit smell like sewer, inside the apartment from the appliances to the fixtures havent been updated since god know when. The management have recently changed it seem to have gotten worst they only care about how the property outside look not the inside so backwards. Alot of bad events have happen here and residence are not given notices. Honestly I had no clue people was getting rob! How I found out through blogs like apartment rating. What I pay for rent is not worth living here. In my home town there are goverment houses that are twice as better looking and safer with cheap rent! The only reason we here do to my job. Believe it or not I don't like to complaining especially when it come with a roof over my family head but I want people to know that they will be wasting there time and hard working moving here. May I add another residence stated something about the maintenance, the heating and the light bill it is true the maintenance totally suck! In order for the apartment to get warm you have to place the thermostat on 90 no lie which cause a sky rocketing light bill

Don't read the good reviews below they probably were created by management. I currently live in windsprint since 2012 and I can't wait until my lease is up. Their toilets don't work, they have roaches, their parking lot gets muddy every time it rains. In the summer it there is standing water everyday, a great place breading place for mosquitoes and West Nile virus, people get mugged in the parking lot, breaks ins all the time (security guard leaves at 2am) anytime after that is a great time to get robbed or your car broken into. My neighbor pulled a gun on two people breaking in his car one ran away the other one threatened my neighbor until the cops came. 2 days later the thieves were back breaking into peoples cars. Also you are charged a $50 late fee if you try to pay on the 3rd no matter what. The closet doors fall off the hinges regularly even after repair after repair... very dangerous for small children.

I have been pleased with Windsprint. As a quiet and safe community, I have had no issues that have made me want to seek housing elsewhere. The office staff are punctual when services are needed and the maintenance team are friendly and professional.

The management is great. I would like to have the carpet replaced it is fraying and generally looks bad from stains even after being cleaned. I think this carpet has been in this apartment for a minimum of 7 years. We also want the tub/shower fixed. It is in very bad condition.
