I really appreciate being able to live in this community. We have lived here twice actually; the first time was 2017-2021. The only reason we left was due to the damage from the major snowstorm which left our apartment unlivable. We recently moved back this year (2023). The peace that I experience living in nature in the midst of a city is priceless. Angel is doing a fantastic job of managing The Vista on Brodie and her efforts to plan events for us and improve the property is noticed. I haven't had a lot of interaction with the office staff but on occasion when I have talked to them, they've always been professional and courteous. The maintenance group has a big job with the property being so large and I see them around all the time working (sometimes even in very early morning hours before daylight). Thank you for everything you do to bring such peace to our community! It feels like our own little town in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. :)

First year was great, once the complex got bought out and got a new staff it has not been the greatest experience from getting an eviction email after being notified of a balance due that was the wrong apartment number to putting in maintenance orders and getting calls saying my apartments deadbolt was locked when it in fact WASNT to most recently having a work order "completed" for something completely different than the order we put in. Not to mention people not picking up after their dogs. The front gate has also been an issue as far as being closed.

It's nice. Decent space. Love that it's gated. Wish the gate system was better. There was updates which make it look nicer. Staff is friendly. Just needs a pic of better communication with maintence. Maintence staff is great and very efficient.

It has been positive so far. This is the second time I have lived in this community after moving out of state for a little over one year. The staff is courteous and the maintenance crew does their job well. I would say sometimes the wait may take a few extra days due to low staffing, but service orders are taken care of. The grounds are kept well maintained and are clean.

Maintenance requests are handled without promptness. I've lived here for several years each time I needed maintenance the work is typically done to satisfaction, but waiting months to have maintenance requests met is very unsatisfactory, especially for a community that claims to provide luxury living. This is not it. I will say the homes I've lived in are lovely, although I wouldn't put a luxury label on it.

I've enjoyed living in this community for a total of 10 years. The green spaces add to the aesthetics and the feeling of privacy from the traffic. It is a quiet community. Until the most recent one (7/23), work orders were handled quickly and efficiently. Don't know why it took four days for the last one to be completed. It was air conditioning not cooling to set temp.

The staff are always nice and responsive, but maintenance issues are consistent. In an another apartment I lived at here, my bathroom fan would make noise even when off, and I was told nothing could be done. In this apartment, my AC breaks ever 2-3 months, my refrigerator broke about half a dozen times before it was replaced, and my water heater shut down about half a dozen times before I had a part replaced on it. There is always a consistent appliance issue I'm dealing with.

Since it is on Brodie makes it easier to get around the traffic. The village of the Bella Vista is surrounded by the greenery and the magical habitats will greet you in the morning and the early part of the evening. You definitely won't miss the beautiful sunset from here nor the glittering night view of the downtown.

Communication between management and resident is very unclear. Different things are stated in person, over the phone, on the website, and in print on papers you're given. It's quite confusing. Other than that the place is great.

I love my apartment its roomy and has an excellent floorplan. The green space behind us we get so many sweet animals to watch. It's been repainted and looks great. My only concern is I share this apartment with another so we pay separately for our portion of the rent...for the last 1.5 years we have had to pay the first half 1 to 2 days before the end of the month to do so. It's in the managers hands to turn off the separate payment ability and has been turning it off early....Its ridiculous when normally we have until the 3rd of the month to pay.

Except for repairs not being of the highest quality, everything else has been ok, not great. I have had an issue in that I was not informed about the package room cost when or before I moved in. It was a small amount, but even that was not covered in te discussion about community fees.

Terrible front office staff

I am looking at switching apartments and came to this one for a tour. The front office staff was busy with a person so a man from a back office (assumed Manager) told me to try the amazing coffee machine and they would be with me soon. A couple walked in behind me and they were assisted first while I was still sipping on my coffee. I was eventually helped by a very very nice new person that did his best but had to keep going to the back to ask questions. Even after the lady was finished with the couple she stayed in the back and never came to assist to help get my questions answered or rent an apartment to me. The assumed Manager was within view but never came to help just waited for the new employee to come ask questions which occurred multiple times. I can only imagine if this is how the front office is run than all the negative reviews on Google maps is likely true. Very disappointed.

It's a friendly community of residents. The staff has had it's ups and downs, but who didn't during the pandemic? Overall it's a great place to live. We wouldn't have stayed if it wasn't a great place, even with the inflation of housing in Austin.
