We Love Bandera Ranch
I will make it short and sweet. To all of you that are writing in and that absolutely hate it here move. Because we have never seen those things happen there was a shooting but it wasn't here it was in the homes behind us. So you should check with your local police office. And i have had two apartments here a 1bd. and a 2bd. and I love it. The office and maintenance staff are very helpful in every way and always respond to my request. This is a great place to live and I would recommend it if you are loving for a quite Oasis.

No frills great place to live
I've been here since June 2009 and for the price and location you can't beat this place. I pay $775 for a 2 bed/2 bath 1,100sf, and my electricity/heating bills are never more than $125/mo, depending on the time of year. When I moved in my apartment was immaculate - the walls were freshly painted, the carpet was brand new, and it smelled great. The only thing I wish this place had was balcony/patio area -I miss sitting outside and enjoying the nice weather (and no, the tiny space outside my door is not cutting it). I live on the upper level so I've only had one minor bug issue, and that was tiny ants that came out of no where, but that only lasted a day or two. The walls are pretty solid, I never hear my neighbors, ever. Maintenance guys are friendly and know what they're doing. They keep the grounds really nice and clean. I've never seen any dog poo near my apartment, but there must not be any dogs in my building. Neighbors seems okay. My "weirdo" radar usually picks up on these things right away, but I feel very safe here. Even though this place is on the highway there is barely any excess noise. And besides this place is set so far back off the road anyway, I don't even think people know this place exists. I can't even invite people over without them driving right by it. The management is super nice - especially Sarah. This place also has a great pool, although sometimes during the summer the idiots come out with their loud music and make a mess, but management cracks down really quickly and puts an end to it. I was tempted to move to Uptown this summer and find something more "upscale", but with the crime out there and the ridiculously high rent, I have no problem staying here another year.

Awesome Community
I would just like to say I myself have lived here since 2009 and as a neighbor of the previous post, let me just say it is not all they are saying. But what can you do. If you are unhappy, they should have moved a long time ago, which I remeber having a conversation with my neighbors and they did not want to move to another unit. I still live here and the problem was the bathtub and the lady that lived there did not have a problem with it. She even transferred to a 2 bedroom. So I am not sure why they would say the things they did, but in all honesty,

Not the worst place in the world, but I'm glad I got out
Oh where to begin. The first few months we lived here it was fine, but then it quickly went downhill. It seems like every time I went into the office there were new people working in there. So, it was hard to know anyone. One of the managers whom I won't name was rude to me more than once. We had a leak when it rained that they never really fixed over a year. We had major leaking problems in the bathroom for almost a year. Our closet would flood, water would come out of the wall, the light fixture, the ceiling, and the ac panel frequently. Consequently, the bathroom had mold everywhere. The management's answer to this problem was to have the neighbors stop taking baths and just continually repaint and patch the wall. They never fixed the problem. No matter how many times they came out to spray we continually had roaches, bugs, and even a live snake in the apartment. I complained about noisy neighbors numerous times and called the police, but the problem never went away. It sounded like we had a heard of elephants constantly running and jumping above us. Pretty much every person around me had a large dog, and let it poop wherever it pleased. So, walking to the apartment smelled like crap, and you had to dodge it to not step in it. Also, they allow aggressive dogs to live here, and a pit bull next door attacked two small dogs around me. The parking became a problem at night. If I came home after about 10pm I had to park down the street and around the corner. Also, the quality of people did go down while we were here. People move in and out so quickly. It seemed like the longer we stayed the more ------, obnoxiously loud people moved in, and crammed way too many people into one place. At one point there were 3 abandoned cars taking up the front parking spots for a month straight. Management just claimed that the cars moved, and apparently I was crazy. Even though two of the cars had flat tires. In agreement with the last review, I have also witnessed drug dealing in the parking lot. There are probably some alright things about this place, but I think the bad overshadows the good. So, there is no point talking about it. It was a struggle to stay here our whole lease, but I am so glad we are living somewhere else much better now.

DOG POOP CLOSE TO APT..THE GROUNDCOVER SMELLS LIKE DOG PEE..THE NOISE, TRAFFIC AND OTHER CRAP THAT GOES ALONG WITH IT..THE POLICE HAVE BEEN CALLED ON THEM SEVERAL SEVERAL TIMES..AND THEY ARE STILL HERE!!NOT TO MENTION THE DRUGS BEING SOLD ON PROPERTY AND VANDALISM TO CARS.. THEN UNDERSTAND THIS IS HELL...AND WELCOME TO IT!! THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON ANY OF US SHOULD LIVE LIKE THIS..NOT TO MENTION THE CALIBER OF PEOPLE THAT ARE AROUND US..LETS JUST SAY IF YOU DONT HAVE A DARK TAN, OR PERHAPS A CRIMINAL RECORD,OR YOU DONT CUT GRASS FOR A LIVING, YOU JUST MIGHT NOT FIT IN!! SCARED TO EVEN STEP OUT OF MY APT..MANAGEMENT REALLY DONT CARE, JUST WANT YOUR RENT MONEY...DONT MOVE IN...YOU WILL BE SORRY !!

I love it here!!!!
I have been here since March and couldnt say nicer things about this place. I have been so happy my electric bills have been reasonable. With the really hot summer my highest bill was only $129. It has been really quiet here except the neighbors do like to slam doors all the time. I have not had a problem with parking, but I am not one to go out at night anyway. I just wish I had found this place sooner. I am so glad they did the renovations they did to the place. I wish more older apt complexes would do more improvements to make it a better place to live. The only downside to the place is it is right off of the service road of a major highway. But at least it is far enough away from the highway where you dont really hear it. I just dont like having to drive all the way around to get to something on the other side. Other then that a GREAT place to live. Would recommend it to a friend

Updating my Review
I'd like to update my review that I posted in 2010. At first, I absolutely loved Bandera Ranch. I had gotten a very good deal to move in when I desperately needed it as I was going through a nasty divorce that had destroyed my finances. Sarah was amazing and helped me sign my lease. She even remembered my name on sight and was so helpful with any concerns I had. Unfortunately, several months ago Sarah left Bandera Ranch, and it seemed like things went downhill FAST. I understand that when a core person at an office leaves things can get overwhelming for the others in the office, and for the new people who come to take their place. Sarah always seemed to return my phone calls immediately, but after she left I could never get anyone to answer the phone. Sometimes I would leave multiple voicemails, and would finally send an email in frustration - and then I would get a response a couple days later. Now you can really count on NOT getting the help you need. If you do get a response, sometimes it doesn't seem to help at all... Or it doesn't make sense until things are explained to you several days afterwards. They are always saying "Oh, our new system doesn't let us do that anymore." Or, "Oh, well our new system does this, so now we have to ..." It would be nice to get some warning before I feel like there is a crisis because something has changed on their end! I see their newsletters, but I haven't seen that kind of info on them. Also, I have had some pretty serious maintenance issues. A few months after moving in (as it started to get warmer) my A/C decided that it was going to stop working efficiently. So I called and maintenance charged the unit, and things were ok for a month or so. Then it happened again, and this time the unit was recharged a second time, and within a week it wasn't working again. Then it wouldn't even make a difference. This was, of course, when it was over 100 degrees outside and it was over 80 degrees inside my apartment. I even called the emergency hotline to get someone to come out (because while I was told someone was coming out to fix it, there was no improvement), and STILL no one came out or if they did, I never received any notification. When they did show up, they just recharged the unit again . I even sent my complaints in email, to make sure that someone would see my issue. Finally, after 2 months of being competely uncomfortable in my own apartment and not wanting to be there, I decided to email management and attach my electric bill and the % that my bill had gone up (was about 150%). In the email it showed how much an inefficient A/C unit was costing me even though the temperature never made it below 80 degrees. I also stated that while there had been "attempts" made to fix the unit, all that anyone ever did was recharge the unit, instead of actually fixing it. If you keep having to recharge - obviously there is a leak! I even threatened to file a formal complaint. Finally someone called me back, and told me that the company who installed the units would be coming in the next couple of days to fix it. Well, I think it took nearly a week and a half, but finally it was fixed. Now, I would like to mention that during the heat of the day, the A/C NEVER keeps up. It's not horrible, but if it's over 94 degrees outside the A/C doesn't usually make it below 78. I usually keep my thermostat at 76-78 when I'm at home,so I'm not asking for anything ridiculous. I moved in Sept 2010, so I didn't realized how bad it was until the heat really kicked in during the summer. Also, My ice maker in my fridge stopped working, so on one of the times maintenance came in to fix the A/C they said they fixed the ice maker. Well, they didn't, even though they left a note saying they did. At that point I was far too fed up to even deal with it. I've been using ice trays ever since. I'd rather just deal with it than send someone else up to fix it that's going to be in my apartment at any point. I do have to give kudos to one maintenance guy - My hot water heater went on the fritz on Christmas. I was getting ready to visit family when someone came in to fix it. On Christmas Day. That was nice, even though him coming in my apartment while I was getting ready in the other room scared me pretty badly. I hadn't expected anyone to come, and I felt really bad that he had to come out and deal with my issue when he should be with his family too. Luckily he fixed it quickly and was on his way. Hopefully I didn't keep him from his family for too long. Issues with my unit - 2 bed, 2 bath on the 2nd floor: - Very poor air circulation! The master bedroom/bath is on the inside part of the building, so it's always warm when it's cold outside, and then colder when it's hot outside. However, the 2nd bedroom is the exact opposite. It's always freezing in the winter, and hotter in the summer. The living room has a very high vaulted celing, but there is no celing fan in this area! There is one in the dining room, but it doesn't help air flow in the living room. No matter what I've had to set up a fan in the living room to keep it cool. The sunroom also doesn't have a celing fan, and also has no air flow. I have asthma, so I air circulation and flow is really important to me. - The insulation is horrible. They may have updated the appliances, but they didn't update the insulation and/or the windows. After having an outrageous electric bill, I decided to buy thermal curtains and do some of the basic weather stripping around the windows and doors. (There wasn't any to begin with!) It seemed to help a little. Expect to have a high electric bill no matter what you do! - No patio (minus a small walkway outside of the front door on the steps) when there is a sunroom in the floorplan - The "Hallway" kitchen. You can't have more than 1 person in the kitchen at any time comfortably. Very crowded! And my disposal smells god-awful every once in a while, randomly, no matter what I do. (I wash dishes every night!) I think it may have been the previously occupants. - The washer and dryer are in the back of the kitchen. You have NO room to do any laundry, and you always have to contend with the noise of the washer and dryer in the living room. - My hot water heater doesn't have much hot water. In the winter (even after it was fixed) I had about 10-15 minutes of hot water and then it would turn ice cold. I don't need a marathon shower, but I have long hair and it really sucks to suddenly freeze in the middle of your shower! - Old doors, toilet seats, cabinets...etc. A couple of my doors have giant cracks in them from what looks like a fist. I wonder if the last occupants were violent? But they were just painted over, even though it's obvious. The cabinets are old and dated and seem kind of dirty - please make sure you put some kind of lining down before you put your clean dishes in them. PLEASE. - Parking kinda stinks. No one seems to know how to park, as my neighbors are constantly double parking. There's just enough room for now, but it's still really annoying to have to park farther away than you could. AND if someone is moving in and they park their moving truck up against the side of the apartments - you CAN'T get out!!! This is a biggie for me, because I'm in covered parking and there is a pole on one side of my car. The only time I could successfully get out while a moving truck was behind me was when there wasn't a car parked on my right. It's a very narrow parking lot. - Then, my apartment is located upstairs via a courtyard area. So if I want to get to my apartment: I park, and then I have to walk through the parking lot, between 2 buildings, through a long courtyard and then up my stairs. When it's dark, it makes me nervous. The area isn't lit well, so I always walk though that area very aware. It's a nicer view of the courtyard instead of the parking lot, but when you are worried for your safety? Crime has risen a lot recently, so I'm ready to move out. - The radom guy that stands on the sidewalk and then calls out to you as you walk by to get to your car. At first you think he's being friendly, but then you realize he wants something from you. He's tired to sell me stuff before, and then he's also asked my boyfriend if he knew how to multiply fractions because his daughter was having trouble. He's just weird and creepy. - It can get pretty noisy, depending on your neighbors and kids outside. The kids drive me crazy because they are always running round screaming like crazy whent he weather is nice. Also, until they moved out, my old downstairs neighbors would shake my entire apartment with their loud subwoofer. All I could ever hear was this obnoxios beat coming from down stairs. Generally, it can be noisy - but it's not horrible. - It always smells old and musty in my apartment, no matter how many air fresheners I use, or how frequently I open the windows. I'm not a dirty person, things are kept clean. So that's really a peeve of mine. - CONSTRUCTION! This isn't Bandera's fault, but the Murphy/Westpark exit is closed coming from the South (from the Ft. Worth area.) So now, I've got to take the Central exit, which is very highly populated - and sit through 2 extra LONG and crowded lights jammed with road cones and angry people just to get to my apartment. Plus, it backs up the access roads to get on the highway during rush hour. A few good things: - I've never had bugs. (Minus a couple minor sightings) - I've never been robbed, or seen anyone get robbed. - You can get pretty high speed internet through U-Verse of Time Warner - The appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher) in the kitchen are pretty new. Seem to be a good quality (dishwasher is ok). - A pretty good floor plan, would be good for a room mate. (Bedrooms are on opposite sides of the unit with accessable bathrooms.) - Covered parking for only $10 a month. (IF they have any available! They are limited spaces. I waited for over 6 months.) - There are lots of children that play in the inner courtyard that seem to be Toddler age up through Elementary school. So if you have kids, there are other kids to play with. - The office does get involved with the community, and holds "CARES" events monthly. I haven't made it to one due to my schedule, but if you have children they are always family oriented. - It's not a gated community so you don't have to deal with that hassle, but it seems very hidden behind the bowling alley with a narrow street (almost seems like an alleyway) that leads into the leasing office. When the trees that have been planted there bloom its very pretty. Gated communities are nice but a pain, and up until recently it's seemed like crime usually passed the community by. Overall, this isn't the worst place ever, but it's certainly not the best... and it used to be better! I would honestly give it... 2.5 starts if I could. Not quite 3, but not quite 2 either. It wasn't a horrible experience, but I'm glad I'm moving.

Happy to be here
Ok first I have to say I'm not a Mgr or an employee of Bandera Ranch, like some reviews I have read on other Apartments where it is obvious that whoever wrote the review actually works there. The reason I picked here is because I used this website to see which complex had a good rating, there were others that had a better rating but this place had convenience, among alot of other things. Its quiet, its clean, everyone who works here always says hello, even parking isn't that bad. When I first moved here I had gone from a 3500 sq foot house too my apartment at first it was hard to adjust but now I loved coming home, infact now I have a girlfriend I'm hoping that when we "move in" together we can upgrade here to a bigger apartment..Seriously do yourself a favor and move here you wont regret it

More than just an Apartment> It's a community
This is the most amazing place to live! It isn't just that the units are newly renovated and how close you are to restaurants, churches, activities for the kids (there is a bowling alley with-in walking distance), hotels, and the HEB hospital... The most important thing is the sense of community. This was proven when my mother had to be in the hospital for a few days. There is a "Cares Team" on site and they jumped right to action. They provided almost as much help and information as the Hospital and never seemed put out while doing it. The Property Manager is an amazing woman who even sent my mom and I a hand-made get well card. (it was made by her and her son) What other Manager would do that. The lead maintenance man is the most knowledgeable we have ever had. He never puts things off and fixes things so quickly it makes you wonder what took so long in the past with other maintenance guys. I can't speak highly enough about the staff, the Cares team, or the safety, beauty, and location of Bandera Ranch.

Back for another year.
I moved in February of last year and just renewed my lease for another year. This place is clean, quiet, safe, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. My neighbors are great and the apartments have events every month for us to hang out together. The office staff is super nice and they take care of any issues quickly. I feel like I am making a great decision by coming back.

So happy
I moved into Bandera Ranch in September and could not be happier. The small issue I had after moving in was taken care of immediately and I even received an extra bag of goodies from the manager. This place is quiet and I actually like my neighbors. Can't say the same for the last place I lived. I definitely made the right decision to come here.

Didn't even know it was here
I saw the sign for 99 move in special and found my home. It's quiet and nice and the pool is never crowded so I can go undisturbed and do my laps. I'm single and without kids, and though there are a few families with children, for the most part it's very quiet and safe. The office staff is awesome and the manager is a very nice man. I lived previously at the Mandolins and had awful service. Nothing got fixed, but here everything is done within a week or so. So far so good.

This apartment complex was taken over by a new company and renamed "Bandera Ranch". It's renovated inside with new appliances, the pool has been redone, and the company that owns the complex is wonderful. I've lived here a year and love it!

Quiet and nice
I've lived here a year and it's been wonderful for the most part. The management is nice, the community is quiet, and they have events for residents. They are newly renovated so you're appliances are all new. I loved that. So far we've been very happy here. For the price and location you cannot beat it. Wilshire elementary is the top elementary school in the area.

Very Enjoyable
I moved in early July and have been very happy with my decision so far. The place is quiet and my neighbors are very nice. I was visited by a couple the day I moved in which was great. I have not had any major problems with my apartment and those that I have turned in were taken care of quickly. I also love that a police officer lives here. The apartments look great on the inside and my friends are jealous of my huge bathroom!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!
I moved into my apartment in June 2009. The apartments were newly rennovated, and they were (are)offering a $99.00 move-in and also your choice of either a Nintendo Wii or a 32-inch flat screen tv. Then I moved in. First: there is a catch to the move-in special. You don't get the Wii or the 32-inch TV until you've paid your first FULL month's rent. Then, at the end of your lease, if you decide to move, you have to give it BACK. You only get to keep it, if you sign another lease.... OR you have to pay them either $300.00 or $400.00 for the tv. I paid my first full month's rent on August 1st. It's now the 8th, and NO ONE has contacted me about the tv. Second: The DAY I moved in, my washer & dryer couldn't be connected because their was a hose that was still attached to the washer pipe... and it had been PAINTED OVER, and we couldn't get it unscrewed. The W/D company also said that the dryer vent was clogged, and they could here water running behind the washer connection. That night, the apartment below mine flooded. And they turned off the water overnight. So, my first night there, I had NO water. Imagine being dirty from moving all day, and unable to take a shower, or go to the bathroom. And being exhausted and woken up at 8-something the next day, by maintenance to fix the leak. THIRD: You know the move-in inventory form that you fill out and turn in for repairs? NOTHING on mine has been fixed/addressed. FOURTH: The first time that it wrained in the apartment, I discovered a leak above the window above in sunroom. It took 2 emails and 2 maintenance requests for them to fix that. FIFTH: (Can you believe I'm STILL going?) I came home one Friday afternoon to discover an odd smell in my apartment. The following morning, it was HORRENDOUS. I called the office, and on that Monday, maintenance left me a work order in my apartment saying that they couldn't find an odor. Keep in mind, we were having 100-degree days, and the smell was TERRIBLE. I called the office AGAIN, and the manager came directly to my apartment. He agreed that there was a very bad smell, and said that he would call the exterminator the next day. I came home on Tuesday, and my entire house smelled like lavender. (spray) The manager told me that the exterminator would be out the next day to go into the walls. Long story short, there was a dead animal in the wall. IMAGINE what that smelled like? And the manager plugged in a vanilla scented air freshner in my living room. Now? today I have found and killed 8...EIGHT LARGE flies in my apartment. I went online to see what kind of flies they were... and apparently there are the type of flies that hatch from dead animals. The only good thing about this apartment community is that it's quiet and the manager really is a nice man. But everything else? As you have read... has been a nightmare.

Be Very Hesitant!
I have lived in the complex since 2004. The first 6 months were uneventful. After that, I must say...Be very hesitant about leasing at this complex. When I moved into the complex, about 33% of the units were occupied. The occupancy rate is about the same at this time. I've had several issues that have taken longer than needed to be resolved. My first issue: my refrigerator went out (causing me to lose all of my cold/frozen items), maint. serviced the unit and said they had repaired the problem. Guess what! Two weeks later...same thing...lost all of my perishables that I purchased the day before. They finally replaced the refrigerator and all seems to be well. I constantly complain that the a/c unit doesn't cool. It seems as if they need to have freon added on a bi-monthly basis. I was advised by management that the swimming pool and hot tub would be open during the summer months. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! NEVER! Two summers have come and gone. Still no pool that is swimmable. The apartment directly behind mine is vacant. That apartment had a water leak, which caused my carpeting to become wet and mold began to grow. After a week of complaining, the finally cut out the ruined carpet and replaced it with a piece that was several shades off. They didn't tack the carpet down or try to tape the seam. And the most recent event, horrible sewer smell and backup into the tub. I have tried to contact someone in the office personally. On atleast a dozen occassions, I have stopped by the office (during posted office hours) and the office was locked. After 3 weeks, I was finally able to speak with the "NEW" manager. The problem was resolved in 4 days. In the past 3 months, The management must be trying to increase their population at the complex. I have noticed more and more people hanging around outside in the parking lots at all hours of the day and night. With inadequate lighting, constant police presence, etc..., there is not a great sense of security. The upside: RENT IS CHEAP. Guess what you get with Cheap rent?

Things are not turning around
The pool is still green, the parking lot is still trashed, mangament won't ever work with you or for you. The only way you can get your a/c fixed is if you threaten to call code and the cops. Your car is most likely going to get broken into. Maintence is nice but there are not enough of them. If your hot water heater is leaking all over your floor, it will take at least two weeks to fix it. They don't care about safety hazards. If you like to see druggies and cops all hours of the day- this is the place for you. =)

It's not worth it
I've been living at Timber Creek for about six months now. At first everything seemed to be a great deal. Rent was cheap & the amenities offered were better than anywere else so I had signed a 12 month lease. It took three months to get my AC going. Repeated returns to fix my frig which was covered originally in bugs. Recently a broken pipe from another vactant apartment flooded my neighboors & my own. I reported that there was still water & now mold growning on the wall more than once. It's been over a month & there yet to return. I now just disregard any issues that are not related to habitable laws because at this point I feel that issues just never get resolved. I still have a list of issues waiting to be resolved from when I first moved in. Some of the things are minor but should have never been over looked by the property. I very strongly recommend not living here or any other properties owned by MBS.

Things are turning around....
I moved in 3 months ago. At first I was very concerned I must admit. Maintenance was a serious issue because the guy flat out did not know what he was doing. However, even though there are a lot of empty apartments it is quiet and I feel quite secure. The Office Manager is awesome. We finally have a great maintenance staff and they are making some awesome improvements. I have lived in several apartment communities through the years and can tell you that this one has what it takes to become a place that anyone would want to live in. The Manager is very personable and is really trying hard to turn this place around. Even though there are rules and polices he doesn't go over board with notices and throughing his weight around. I'm glad to be here.

YES IT CAN! I've lived here going on my 4th year now and every year it gets worse. It's not always the workers at fault most of it is the sorry company the work for (M.B.S) they don't give a damn about their tenants! Or there workers! Some of the workers are great people really trying but, you can't make an omelet without eggs. The company wont proved the tools or other supplies the maintenance crews need to fix anything!

DO NOT MOVE HERE
When I moved in there was a problem with the first apartment we were going to move into. I opted to go for another apartment that was said to be "ready" for sale that day. The apartment was being cleaned when I went to look at it there was a cleaning lady trying to make last minute cleaning adjustments to the apartemnt. After returning I realized that she had not done very much since I had left about three hours earlier. The place was still a mess. I had to clean the apartment before I could even move into it, very bad way to start out a six month lease. Since I was told an apartment number four days prior to my move in I made the appropriate phone calls to have the utilities turned on. Since I had to switch apartments the leasing agent said that the apartment complex would be able to take care of all the fees involved with me switching the electricity from one apartment to the other. THIS HAS YET TO HAPPEN! Everytime I get a bill about that certain account I am told that the office has to submit it to their corporate office, which is fine, the only thing is I am still recieving bills that are going against my credit due to the lies I was told six months ago. Do yourself a favor and don´t even think about living here, I am so glad my lease is finally up. I will be running not leaving from this company.

scam artists
The property manager that was there sucked us in to moving there with all these amenities that do not exist the way she spoke of them. Our air conditioner never worked right and the drain pan above the front bathroom always had rusty water dripping out of it and once a week the door would fall down. It was so unsafe that I would not let my children take a bath in that bathroom. The refridgerator leaked and I had to drain the bottom of it 2 times a week or it would leak water out all over the kitchen floor. The carpet was in horrible condition when we moved in. It was never cleaned. We had to have it cleaned ourselves. It should have been replaced. It was stained beyond repair and all streched out. The so-called attic above our apartment, you could hear people walking around up there at night. My husband finally went up there and found out that there are no walls separating from each apartment so anyone could get up in their attic at night and climb down another apartment in the same building on the 2nd floor and do "whatever". I felt very unsafe. I had several nightmares about people climbing into our apartment at night, so my husband slept by the closet door with a baseball bat for our protection. The problems that we had were addressed with the management and never fixed. Thank GOD that we only had a month-to-month lease and we left as soon as possible. We only had to live there from July 2003 to August 2003. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! You are likely to get an apartment without an A/C. The management company is the worst ever that doesnt pay their bills. The maintenance can never get anything fixed because all of the venders for supplies have their account on cash basis only. And the pool has been shut down by the city several times due to too much chlorine and it poses a threat to your health. This place is definately a dump.
