I am grateful leasing particularly to Alexandra for helping me switch over from my studio unit to this 1 BR with balcony. It wouldnt have been as smooth of a transition without your help. Other than the intermittent building technical problems which are normal for any complex, which the management keeps up with as much as possible, overall love this apartment, its very pet friendly, the neighbors and community are warm, its close to everything - DC, Old Town, National Harbor etc. plus has a gym, study room, even a sauna, pool, plus having a balcony to look over views is a plus for a really reasonable price specially for this area! I have Alexandra to thank for helping me from day 1( you helped me finalize a lease while I was still overseas and active duty! that was really amazing!!!) I apologize for the delayed review as it has been incredibly busy transitioning but definitely 5 out of 5 stars for costumer service and responsiveness and for everything. thank you again Alexandra!!

I placed a couple of service requests regarding the radiator units and the garbage disposal. Kevin and David addressed all of the issues promptly, courteously and completely. Kudos to the maintenance staff.

We put in the request to have our drain unclogged and they came the next day. Very lovely guys and respect. They came around 9:39am and they had finished by 1:40! Now my tub is working again and it’s all thanks to them

The building is huge, but the people are friendly! Tenants speak to one another, and it looks as if they know each other. Staff is friendly, very helpful and professional. My apartment issues in the first three months have been black water filling the dishwasher, no electricity available on one side of living room, small repair for a broken chain on the ceiling fan. Those repairs were managed quickly by maintenance. Currently, the compressor is out for the building's AC, but I expect it to be repaired as soon as a replacement is delivered.

Great experience

Clean, quiet street, great location, friendly staff, great parking and outdoor pool. Excellent conditions for living with pets. Our manager Aleksandra showed the available options and made a tour of the complex. We received answers to all our questions. My husband and I are very happy that we chose an apartment in this complex.

Excellent Maintenance Service

The staff is terrific and issues are resolved accordingly. One of my favorite parts about living here is how transparent management is especially the manager Jessie. The building is older but outside of the occasional issue that is handled immediately you wouldn't know the age. This is a great place to live

David's a lifesaver!

We got back from a trip away last night and came back to a plethora of issue. The apartment was 80 degrees fahrenheit, the dishwasher leaked water all over the kitchen floor, the sink wouldn't drain, and the light was burnt out. David helped us with all of those issues late in the night with kindness. He even came back the following morning to update us on the AC situation and work on the light. We're new to the area and David gave us great local coffee shop recommendations. Definitely glad that he's apart of The Aspen team.

Great Place to Live and Work

A shout out to Kevin and Ricky from a 15-minute response of a lock out at 3:00 a.m. in the morning, to helping to assemble the balcony curtain installation. To quick response times on HVAC calls. Kevin and Ricky are spot on! Their efforts are appreciated. Another shoutout to MS. Alexandra and Mr. Earl. Awesome management team! The Aspen Apt is convenient to parks, food places, entertainment and work. I get to see the planes taking off and landing from my balcony. This place is very nice!

Great Treatment When Canceling Lease

vice ahead After finding out that my daughter intended to move away from Alexandria, I approached Earl and asked if it were possible to terminate the lease a month ahead of time before I was to occupy the apartment I had signed a lease for. He very kindly reached out to the Property Manager and a few days later sent me an email releasing me of all obligations. This is such a relief. Kudos to this Earl and this Property Management group who put customer service ahead of profit. I am impressed!!

Great maintenance team!

One of the best things about living at THE ASPEN is the Maintenance Team! Whenever we put in a ticket, in less than 24 hours, they fix the problem! I have only good things to say about this team. Not only are they GREAT and what they do, but they are GREAT people. Shout out to David who always gets the job done and does it with a smile. :)

Great place to live! The building is near local parks, restaurants, and a thriving little community in Alexandria. The buses take you right to the metro and during the week the building has a shuttle that will take you to the metro as well. The rooms are so quiet, you would only ever hear your neighbors' noise if you are in the hallway. The facilities are well maintained and the people are generally very friendly. Very pet friendly as well.

Door Repair

I had an issue with the bathroom and bedroom doors. The hinges had come loose and the doors started to dangle. I place a maintenance ticket in over the weekend and no longer than noon that following Monday, Kevin and Ricky came to my apartment, fixed both doors in under 10 minutes and barely made any noice. I appreciate the efficiency they put in!!!

Helpful and kind office staff

Earl was very helpful during the during the touring process with knowledge and of the property and surrounding area. The build is conveniently located near restaurants and is a short drive to the Reagan airport but doesn’t the intrusive noise from the air port traffic.

I've been living here almost 2 years and the maintenance guys, Kevin and Ricky, are always great. They are prompt, efficient, professional, and even during COVID when supply chains made it hard to get equipment, they managed to help me get the repairs I needed in my unit. I wish I'd thought of leaving a review sooner, I could honestly give them kudos every other month.
