STAY AWAY
I have this apartment complex set up to send me an email when someone reviews it - because I fully believe this is the worst apartment complex in the entire Northern Virginia area. The leasing office has the most unprofessional, rude staff I've ever seen. They will threaten you, send you nasty letters even after you've talked to them about incidents, and keep you waiting for hours, even if they say you must come in and talk to them asap. (The exception to this is Gina - she's awesome! Unfortunately, the rest of the office keeps her down, so she doesn't really have the power to do anything.) In addition, there are police all the time, the walls are thin so you're constantly hearing your neighbors, and towards the end of my tenure year I witnessed four different people being arrested. In fact, it got so bad that the corporate housing that was in my row all moved out. Parking is a nightmare, they have been known to tow even if you have the sticker on your car if it's not in the right place. Finally, if you renew your lease, you're looking at around a $300 increase minimum from what I've seen with my neighbors. Save your time. This place used to be great - but it's not anymore. You can get better deals elsewhere, without the headache.

loving it
no real complaints so far. If there were more parking spots, or actual reserved parking, that might be nice. Also on som electrical outlets only one plug works, but when/if that becomes a problem I'll just put in a maintenance request about it.

Warm and Welcoming

I have lived at many apartments....
but hever signed a lease on the first day. The customer service between myself and the agents has been very positive. I signed immediately with this place because I felt welcome and loved the property.

Very Happy
Regina Holl was my leasing agent and I cannot give her enough praise. She consistently goes the extra mile to take care of any question I had during the leasing process to include questions I had last week. She is great.

Just Moved In
I came in and lease the same day i got a 2 bedroom apartment with a garage for cheaper then any other place in the area. its been only a few days since i moved in but i love it here already... The bedroom is huge and i havent had anything maintenance problems. got my own garage so no parking problems as well. so far i think this is a great place

will be renewing my apartment
only thing i have a problem with is the gates i wish they werent there. but everything else has been taking care of parking is back to normal. Neighbors still hear them once in a while but not late at night. Everything said i will be renewing my lease here atleast for another year.

Great Place to Live!!!
I've been living here for almost two years and I think it's a great place to live at. The Clubhouse is really nice and the business center is great to use the computers for, except that the printer is missing. The gym is great but again, the remote is missing. Other than that, it's a great neighbourhood to live in.

Overall Experience is Good!
Bothe the management and maintenance crews are so pleasant and professional. It's such a relief to know that things are always fixed proptly and correctly. The grounds are always lovely, and we get so many compliments from firends and family about the quality of the neighborhood. Ms. Panarella is always ready with a smile and a solution to whatever issues we've brought to her. I honestly don't have enough good things to say!

Professional and nice.....
the staff is hard working and extremely on the ball. Very knowledgeable about the property, leasing and apartments. Very professional. Gina was helpful with the ADU program and my entire move in process went smoothly because of Gina.

Maintenance is Great
Love my Apartment just renewed and got my Carpet clean for free. My tickets are always taken care of when i call for them the new hotline is awesome i can put a request 24hrs. Love living here.

Friendly Community
I moved in a few months ago and I have no issues or concerns with management, or the community. I had a good leasing experience and, maintainance has been great. The property is in excellent shape and I've enjoyed all of the amenities. So far so good

Just mention the name "------" to the management here. See how they react. I don't want to get in trouble or i'd tell you just what this former Van Meter employee did and how the current management covered it up. If you value your money or belongings, do not move here.

I want to thank the entire Broadlands office team for their concern and lightning response to my dilemma, especially Gina and Cathy, who called me immediately when they realized that the grab bar on the tub wasn't sufficient, enough. I would also like to thank Alexis at corporate for her concern. Everyone at Van Metre have been terrific, and I would not hesitate to recommend Van Metre products and services to all of my family and friends in their search for quality housing and builder sensitivity to homeowner and customer issues.

this place stinks
Angry, rude management. Slow, useless maintenance. Dogs barking at all hours. Music blasting 24/7. Drugs being dealt in the parking lot. Consistently malfunctioning gate. "Apartment Inspections" every few months. Parking - yeah right. Will not be renewing lease.
