Great Location
First of all Broadlands is a great place to live. There isnt much that is too far away. Broadlands Apartments Staff is great. I have been renting for 10 years and never have met a personable staff ever. Apartments are fairly new so they speak for themselfves. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE.

Great Holiday Party
Love living in Broadlands Apartments. Great Staff and Neighbors. We always have a blast at the events they host for us.

The thing that stood out to me the most when I started to consider Broadlands Apartments was the customer service. Every single question I had was answered almost immediately. I asked for pictures and five minutes later they arrived in my inbox. I have never, I repeat NEVER, had a single issue that hasn't been resolved in a quick and timely manner without any questions asked. The resident events that are put on by the complex are always a blast! Food, Beer, Wine, Barbecues, and holiday paties are always going on and make living here even sweeter. I would highly recommend living in Broadlands for the safety, gorgeous land surrounding and landscaping inside the complex, the staff and residents alike adn their pleasant attitude and cheerful dispostions.

Broadlands Apartments
I've lived in many different apartment places. Broadlands Apartments is the best community I've lived in ever. Broadlands feels like a community rather than an apartment complex. I love the monthly event that the office hosts. The office staff and the maintenance are very responsive to my needs as well.

Great Staff
Imran was extremely professional and efficient in helping me with the selection of my apartment and the leasing process. He was very patient and went above and beyond to help my family get into an apartment that would work for us in a time frame that kept changing due to our circumstances. He worked diligently to meet our needs. Anyone I recommend to Broadland Apartments will also get a recommendation from me to ask for Imran's help. He was a pleasure to work with. Rory was also as equally helpful and helped assist us on several occassions. We have been here for two months now and love it here and are very pleased to find that the level of service and commitment to the residents remains the same as it was during the leasing process.

Responsive
Saliq has been very helpful and responsive througout the leasing process and in followin-up with our questions. We only wish that there is no towing enforced. Residents should be allowed to park in available spaces, since it is a gated community

Toll Road is my only problem
Everything about the apartment is great. My A/C went out and maintenance took care of it the same day took them a few hours to change the compressor. The only thing i will say is watch out for the toll road it can add $200 to your monthly expenses if you take it to work every day. Even when you say to yourself you won t take it, you end up doing it anyways. But still i would say nice, clean and safe area.

Buying a Van Metre Home
We stayed here for 4 months until our home was ready. We enjoyed it very much, but they might want to think about taking the gates off there is no need for it when they tow at night. It just backs up people coming in the property. I didn t really see the office staff much but Maintenance very quick to respond. Over all enjoyed my stay here and will highly recommend the Broadlands Apartments.

Great Units; Staff okay; Maint Wonderful; Manager needs people skills
The units are well kept any issues the maintenance staff is very responsive. I love the 24/hour call line for maintenance. Working late and not being able to make calls during the day the 800 line was wonderful. The Cable company (open band) is horrible - they don't include phone. And blah service. The staff is very friendly but the manager desires some people skills. She does not handle compensation of issues well. I don't like the parking rules. But that's due to poor planing when building the complex. The gate is really a false since of security and should be taken down completely. Overall, very nice complex.

Greattest Place i Lived
Best rental experiance I have ever had Renting. Work orders were take care of on time no major issues. Staff has been not an issue as well. Could use some more parking spaces.

Office Staff
The office staff here either spend all day on Facebook or on this website creating ratings of a 5.0 so they can boost their overall "Recommended" percentile. Don't be fooled by the nice grounds. The complex is advertised as a gated community. I don't know too many gated communities that don't have a gate around the whole perimeter. I really was sold on the idea of having towing enforced.. little did I know that it wasn't and anyone could freely park wherever they wanted. So trying to find a place to park was a nightmare, don't get me started on days when I had to bring in groceries. I should have known that it wasn't going to be a good experience when people were forced to park in the handicap parking because that is all that is left after 7pm. Their are dog waste areas throughout the complex, yet you still have to watch where you're walking because they don't enforce the rules to have owners take care of their pets. While I was there I saw the complex vandalized on numerous occasions. The front gate only works about 35% on the time. And you will know when it has broken because the entrance gate will be broken in the morning. The gates are suppose to be open from 7am to 7pm, but they are never on time. And the best part was receiving a letter stating that the maintenance that was suppose to occur that day had to be rescheduled. But there was never a letter notifying you that anyone was going to be in your house for maintenance in the first place. Just remember, a place that offers great incentives, probably has to do so for a reason.

Great Maintenance team
THE MAINTENANCE TEAM IS GREAT, THEY WERE TIMES THAT THEY EVEN CAME WITHIN AN HOUR ON SUNDAY'S NIGHT. WE REALLY ENJY LIVING IN THIS COMMUNITY.

Beautiful Area
I just moved in and the guys were great at helping me with my move in answering all my questions and having no issues. I moved from NY so this area is so beautiful I don t remember ever seeing such green landscaping ever. So far I love my new home and that s why I wanted to share this and recommend Broadlands to everyone.

I love calling Broadlands HOME
This is by far the best place i have ever lived. I do plan to renew my lease until i buy a Van Metre house. Staff is great nice and welcoming. Place looks great and is spotless.

Poor Comunication with staff
Please stay away from this place you are a great communicator. Communication is a problem here. Even when a decision is made on your request, they keep it in their records and do not communicate to you. How in the hell will you as a resident know where they stand on an issue. Even when you being it to their attention, they try to play the blame game. I will prefer to live at a place where they value my business.

Wonderful Place
Broadlands apartments has been a wonderful place to live since. The management team is exceptional and are available to take care of all concerns. There is a follow up call with every maintenance issue, and that is greatly appreciated. If it is not right, maintenance will return to fix it correctly. Also upon entering the club house, there is always a warm greating and it is amazing that the property managers and staff know the residents by name. That speaks volume and really makes the community feel like home and not just a place to live. I would also like to compliment the staff in their efforts to keep our community safe during the rescent snow storms.

Great Service
I found both Salig and Imran to be both very helpful and attentive to any questions or repairs that needed to be done. Everything was done in a timely manner and with a professional demeanor. Van Metre is lucky to have them aboard!

If you like bugs, cheap appliances and countertops, dog poop everywhere, ------ tenants..broken gates.. And dishonest management that does nothing all day but post positive reviews on this site: Well this is the place for you!

Love the Area
Great place to live you never have to go too far to get anything for example Dulles Airport, Mall, Wegmans, Walmart, Target and even DC. Personaly couldnt ask for a better place.
