Clean apartment complex with good access to work and Falls Church. Will have completed two years early next year and would not have stayed unless satisfied otherwise. Pool and exercise facility are quite nice. Lifeguards outstanding.

I love living here. Really clean and friendly community. The townhomes are really spacious and well maintained. The pool area and fitness center are also nice perks. Lastly, the office staff is great and very helpful!

We had a very easy move in and working with Patrick from the leasing company has always been easy. He always seems to be in the office and even answer emails. We had very minor issues when we moved in that were taken care of within 48 hours of us making the call. The townhome was VERY clean and when we moved in and the renovations up to date. The only a few cons: there aren't any ceiling lights in the living room and bed rooms. Also our shower water pressure is VERY low. We have been moved in almost 2 months now and the neighborhood is very quite (even with the high school so close) and the neighbors are also clean and quite. Plenty of parking around out town home, we can always get a spot right out front! Overall great experience with moving and living at Tyson's Glen!

In general I can recommend, no issues at all and the leasing office staff (Patrick) have been always friendly and committed to be always helpful. As well with the maintenance staff when we had a small problem with electricity, they are very fast replying and fixing the problem.

We came to this apt in 2012 June.. We like this apartment very much and we have extended our contract till 2014. Unfortunately we are not satisfied with our second year stay as we got rat in our house and carpentering noises from above apt.

So far, so good. I moved here for the location which has not disappointed. The apartment itself is a little dated, but other than that I am happy with my move.

Very convenient to 495 and Tysons Corner Mall. The option of having hardwood floors makes it easier to clean. Lots of lint and dust accumulate from the AC/Heater. Unit washer/dryer is ample. Dishwasher requires periodic cleaning, even when hardly being used. Maintenance request is efficient and the well-handled. Being at the Devonshire Square location makes it an inconvenience having to drive to the main office, the carwash, the pool or the better gym.

The community is in a great location, very accessible to major highways and to local shopping and groceries. Plenty of parking, and very child and pet friendly. The only issue I could find is that their older apartments do not have energy-efficient windows and doors.

I am terribly concerned about the noise level here. I moved in 3 nights ago iT TURNS out they are renovating the kitchen, next to my bedroom, and there was banging, crashing, coillapsing, pooundung drillung for the 2 days I was at home. i WAS NOT told about this and it violates the covenant of quiet enjoyment, iN ADDITION, every night I've been here, starting about 5 pm, the people above me run, fall, throw things, slam things, stomp across the floor, slam doors, skid furniture and generally make it impossibly to sleeo, concentrate or relax. It is 10:38 and someone just ran acorss the fkior , skidding furniture or something. I', very worried I'm going to have t be asked to be moved.

I was there for over two years. The location itself is great - right off the beltway/Route 7, but there is a price to pay, I'm mostly disappointed with their service - the dishonesty of raising my rent. I was paying $1600 then after a year, it went up to $1695. They claim they had to raise it almost $100 in order to "catch-up" with their competitors around the area since they claim to be one of the cheapest. The week my rent increased, new, nice neighbors moved in and they told me their rent was a bit over $1500 - exact same size/layout. I finally decided to terminate my lease the following year. You have to give a 60-days notice that you plan to vacate. If I were to no renew my lease and go on a month-to-month basis - it would have been $2700 per month! C'mon! I could not believe that. If I chose just to renew for 3 months, it'd been $180 - a bit more reasonable, I'd say. Maybe this is common with all apts, but I was still surprised they could charge so much on a month-to-month basis. Communication was always a problem - especially when calling in maintenance work orders. You yourself have to stay on top of it and check on the order status since many times the work order just falls through the cracks. I had a mice problem - we literally caught 11 of them - many were babies. (It's an apt, so I was not surprised) I constantly told them to please do not put poison pellets since there are toddlers in the apartment, but they still did. I called to complain, they said sorry, but since they use a 3rd party for their exterminator, it's hard to communicate. Another problem with communicating to a 3rd party: The landscaping vendor even tore my Dish cable cord twice while doing our front lawn yard work. Tysons Glen said if I can prove it was cut by a mower or whacker, they'd reimburse me. I really didn't know how to prove it - the cord was just chopped! I therefore got insurance with Dish, so that if that'd happen again, it'd be free to fix it. In addition, their excuse was that they just changed vendors and they said sorry, we'll try to tell them to be careful. (yeah, right - the one weed whacking is going to remember, "oh, we gotta be careful at this ONE apt out of the hundreds.) I had problems staying warm in the winter, but the ac was great in the summer. (I'd sleep on the couch in the living room since the air blowing our of the vent in my bedroom was room temperature, unlike in the living room. Of course, the maintenance tested it and said it was normal and to told me to keep in mind that these places are old. So there was nothing to do. They were nice about it, but of course didn't resolve anything. The area itself is a bit sketchy sometimes. I one time left a Whole Foods grocery bag out for maybe 10 minutes and I walked back out it was gone! They do have a nice, updated fitness center and nice pool. And I did enjoy the shuttle they provided to the Metro. Overall, the location is wonderful. But again, there is a price to pay.

Our experience has been fine. The apartment complex is adequately maintained and our apartment is a good value for the money. We have really noisy neighbors who moved in above us earlier this year but that has been our only negative experience.

I am completely dissatisfied with my experience here. It is unfortunate because the community itself is nice, but my particular unit is unacceptable for the money. I will not recommend this place to anyone based on my experience. Too bad bc

So far every single month or every few weeks there is a problem that needs fixing in the apartment. We were also told parking wouldn't be a problem at night but thats just a fat lie straigth to our faces as it often gets crowded and we have to park much further away than we were originally told.

Move-in was painless; everything was ready to go when I showed up. Patrick, the leasing consultant I'd been working with, was very accommodating prior to my move in, as I was coming in from out of state. The enclosed dog run is a very nice feature, it's large enough for big dogs (mine's about 85lbs) to run around and play with the other dogs. I got a newly renovated apartment so the cabinets/appliances/countertop was all brand new. My only complaint is that the gym is a typical apartment gym, but I wasn't really expecting too much on that end. I have yet to see any bugs or any type of infestation. The staff has been very nice so far. Occasionally I hear movement from the level above me (I'm on the ground level), but when my fan is on I don't hear anything.

I have been in this community...
I have been in this community complex for over 3 yrs now and we love the community and the people. We are in a two-level townhome and the only problem with this community is the management. The manager does not listen to complaints and suggestions of the tenants. The lighting is not sufficient esp at night when sometime you need to throw your trash. Also, they collect so much on the water. It was before paid directly to the water company (MINOL) but now the leasing office took over and boy, the water bill increased double!!!It's a rip off!!!
