my experience in this apartment is very nice, with in a 3 months i came back in The point apartments, the best part of this apartment is the open space for kids, parking, running and walking, i liverd in woodland apartment too but it have doesn't have open open space like this apartment have, kids can easily play outside or in park compare to other apartment space.

I have moved from Reston to Herndon. Herndon apartments are old style it's older apartment, it need a maintenance regularly. other than that, everything else looks good. McNair farms have Indian community. So I advice for people who comes from India.

I just have a week here, so can't give you a long-term experience here, but has been good, quiet and nice location, and pet-friendly the shuttle to the metro is a great perk, those are the real things that made move here, obviously the apartment is clean (no smells) and has a great space for my family.

Except maintenance part rest all of the services are good. We have only less equipment in Gym it can accommodate only 5 to 8 people at a time.If they increase the equipment that would be great. Parking is really good they have enough space.

We recently moved in this community and it's very quite and clean. Management is doing very good and very helpful with the tenants. Swimming pool, gym, tennis court all are very good and clean. Totally this community is very good.

The staff have been helpful throughout our move in process. We have had repairs done and the maintenance staff were friendly and respectful as well. There are several amenities which are close to the neighborhood and we're just minutes from the Metro. I'll definitely consider renewing my lease with The Point at McNair Farms when the time comes.

When touring we were not able to see the apartment we were going to move into so they showed up the model unit...mistake. Moved into our unit to see we did not have the same cabinets and we were moved into the classic unit. Found water beetles behind the fridge, which was taken care of within a week. Leasing specialists could use better knowledge of requirements when moving in and what is needed. The pool is great, excellent location, friendly neighbors, and big patio space.

I lived here for almost 4 years. Overall my experience was satisfactory but dotted with issues. The maintenance team were awesome and responded to issues quickly and effectively. Hats off to them honestly, they are overworked. The neighborhood is noisy when the kids are in the playground but quiet at night. They need more recycle bins outside so that I don't need a ladder to put my bag on top of the tower. It's nice not having a gate so people can park freely, and parking is never an issue. Tons of Indian people and high chance your apartment will smell like curry. Now for some grievances. I was on the third floor and some of the concrete stairs were allowed to break before they repaired them. There are actually still stairs there that need to be replaced and are one heavy footstep from breaking under your feet, since they were too lazy to replace the whole flight of stairs. Someone is gonna get sued over that when a resident falls through. I had a roach issue that was from my downstairs neighbor being disgusting. Nothing was done for months, and I eventually found out why my 3rd floor apartment where I lived quite cleanly had such an issue, as there were professional cleaning teams in the downstairs apartment over multiple days. The management staff have always been very cold, down to business type of people. There is no veneer here of them giving a ---- about you. This is fine, we don't need to be friends, but I expect professionalism in that case. Two occasions where they upset me. First, after paying my rent automatically, in full, and on time every month for a year, my lease was renewed. Their system eradicated my autopay without notifying me, and I got a piece of mail hanging on my door the 5th of the month or so THREATENING TO EVICT ME if I did not pay. I corrected it and pointed out the problem, and I got "oh yeah sometimes the system does that", with no apology. As if everything was just fine and they didn't intend to fix it. The second offense happened after moving out. They sent me a bill of $38.83 after keeping my security deposit (a little golf-ball sized bleach stain by the washer cost $238 to fix, I guess). Not one to have time to argue, I paid immediately upon receiving this bill in the mail. The bill threatened collection activity multiple times, even though this was the first notification sent to me. Then I got a "courtesy" email on June 19th from Katara Mahdi, the current property manager, who was unfriendly during my entire stay there. This email was very accusatory and also mentioned sending me to debt collectors twice in three sentences if I did not "remit" payment. I pointed out that I paid on the 9th, and even their OWN WEBSITE reflects this, complete with a screenshot, and that they should check their own records before sending threats to people. Instead of an apology, I got "thank you for remitting payment". The person in her position before her was even worse. ---- these Panco Management people.

Not recommend this apartments is not what they look like I'm really disappointed with the apartment that's not fair to move in to a apartment and find out a lot of issues not working right no good maintenance people have not show up since they came to check apartment.

Compared to the other housing communities I have been lived in past across the country, McNair farms probably provided me with the worst finishings to the apartment, the doors are scratched and unpainted, the cabinets are rickety and damp with water accumulation. With the amount if rent being charged, much better is expected. Moving into this home gave no feeling to moving into a new house. A lot more can be done with the amount of charge we are made to pay.

Been here for a year now and i enjoy every single day on living here. When something goes wrong I contact for service and it gets done right away or the following day. Living here is peaceful don't have to worry about loud neighbors. I would recommend The Point At McNair's Farms to anyone. Great community

I've lived here for about four years and it's been a great location/commute to work. The grounds are always kept clean and neat, the maintenance staff are very friendly. Sometimes the neighbors are disrespectful and impolite.

Very disappointed, irresponsible office staffs. I'm staying this community past two years, my lease is ending and my current project also ending so I don't want to renew the lease and I informed to leasing office I'm going to vacant but somehow my project extended and I want to continue in same apartment ,cheked with leasing office they said my apartment is not available someone booked the apartment I have to book new apartment as per office staff advice I booked new apartment ,my lease is ending next day and I got call from leasing office I have to transfer my lease and I have to pay half month rent from previous lease or you can vacant,I don't have any option and paid half month rent still, I'm not able to digest this incident and I'm mentally upset bcos of this.

Friendly neighborhood, convenient commute, I wanted something on the ground floor and it was available as soon as possible. Leasing office people are friendly. Parking is available. Grocery stores are nearby. Malls are close by.

Staffs seems very friendly, my moving process was pretty smooth although email communication can be improved. I did not experiences any major issues so far moving here, and hopefully this will be a good staying experience for me as well. I was looking for a complex that has a gym and kinda of in a quite area fits this one. However, rent could be little more reasonable or if it would cover few utilities be nice.

Initially I was hesitant to move, but after moving I felt happy. Nice location, we have most of the things available with in 10 minutes of walk in distance. It comes under Mc Niar elementary school, which is one of the top rated. Also has shopping complex near by.

For any issue if we call they don't document or they don't maintain any log for the next step. If any outside contractor is scheduled for an appointment staff will not inform the resident. suddenly you will see a technician for repair without any advance information.

I just moved into the community, but so far everything is going great! I chose The Point because it was the best priced that still offered some of the luxuries I was looking for (washer/dryer, pool and gym). So far I've had no major issues, and every member of the staff I've interacted with has been helpful and friendly. The apartment was cleaned and freshly painted when I moved in, and I look forward to living here!
