currently living here,apartments are average not bad, school and market nearby,some staff members are good,community have gym,pool,play area,tennis court but no community hall for party,overall good only issue with maintenance window time.

It has been real good except for one incident in 2011or 12 when the office lost my payment. However I will probably have to move next yr....rent is too high. The only problem is kids/someone does a lot of jumping up and down that shakes the floor -annoying after 6pm.

Overall, nice location near shopping, transportation with shuttle to metro. Management is good with community events.Staff is helpful with concerns. Newly renovated apartments with new appliances are nice. Problems are noise, the floors squeak and you hear noise from upstairs neighbors. Kids run around all day and night, parents dont care about quiet hours. Some neighbors not friendly, maybe they dont like if you are not ------ like most here. I want to live in a friendly respectful environment. I smile and greet, but many ------ neighbors give evil and mean looks at me and my family and barely speak if spoken to. it's a shame that clannish neighbors ---------- who dont speak English make this place feel unfriendly. And I'm American! I will renew lease next July.

So far the community is very nice. The facilities are very good, and you are conveniently located to any restaurant you could want. The office staff are wonderful and willing to provide any help you need. Overall it is a nice, quiet place to live.

It's a nice place and, the staff is always willing to help and assist. However, since I moved-in (November 11th, 2013) I had 3 different issues with broken pipes and most recently water was leaking from the bedroom 'ceiling. Honestly, I am thinking about finding another place to live. Thank you

I just moved in, but the complex is extremely pleasant so far. The apartments are spacious and nicely laid-out. The grounds are beautiful and the staff and residents have all be friendly and helpful. This complex feels extremely safe which is why I moved here.

This community provide shuttle service to Wiehle metro station, but that shuttle service never shows up on time and it takes local route to get to the metro station, so it takes on an average 35 mins. So, I decided not to use as it would take only 15 mins if I drive. My sincere advise to those who are planning to rent in this community, please do not if you are planning to make use of the free shuttle to get to work.

Being here for a month and so far so good. There is one thing I have to mention is the neighbors disturbing music after 10pm. Does the community observe the silent hour from 10pm to 7am? If so every resident have to be reminded on this. Appreciate any initiative on this.

Service is Good. Few maintenance has to be rectified. Proper checking has to be done and make sure the apartment is clean during the join of partment. Overall apartment is good and close to the restaurants and good neighbourhood. Satisfied

Honestly, the time has come to leave the community soon. We lived here for about 3 years and have sincerely enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend some upgrades in the gym as/when there aren't any budget constraints, new televisions and new computers for the residents. Apart, very convenient living surrounded by green areas, bank, drug store, grocery stores and many other fast food outlets. You are conveniently accessible to Metro and Dulles International Airport.

It was nice to live at this community it is safe especially for children. The staff are very nice and friendly. The maintenance staff are very polite, pleasant and they respond quickly. Also I like the area it's near the shopping center and public transportation.

Well I just moved in, but I am enjoying everything thus far. My only initial complaints were huge bees hovering around my balcony and my place having a curry odor all throughout it. Other than that, I like my place very much. The community is nice and quiet, and it is conveniently located. In regard to my answers below, I put a '3' for Maintenance and Staff since I haven't really had to use either yet, so '3' is to indicate a neutral response. Thanks!

I have only lived there for two weeks, but so far it's a nice community. There are little quirks to the apartment, but what apartment doesn't have them? The balconies and deck area are quite scenic, the water temperature in the apartments is way hotter than it needs to be, and having your own private entrance gives it a "homey" feel.

The move in was a mess, staff didn't meet as at the appointment time. We have had three floods in four months. Office staff and maintenance staff are great, property needs to be fixed. property location is great, great parking, clean area. Will move in again.

Good community at a great price. Spacious, tons of closet space, and a beautiful deck and fireplace. Get the vaulted ceilings! And make sure you get a remodeled unit. Easy access to the VA Tech Corridor and Dulles International. Good shopping and restaurants nearby, and hopefully we'll get the Silver Line soon (Fingers crossed). I happy I moved out here!

Overall the community is decent for the price. Older units and appliances. Staff is friendly. Convenient to shopping, Toll Road and new Metro. Shuttle is great option to take the metro for normal hours. This is my first year and will see how much the rent increase will be.

Always hear noise from top floor. Ceiling seems to be not noise free.. Some of the kitchen furniture and inside doors are not good.. every thing else is good.. We like the spacious hall of the apartments..Missing : portico/no railing at portico..

These are very old units and definitely required renovation, especially to faucets,doors & washer-dryer units. I have been here just over 6 months now and had created several maintenance requests till date. I would never recommend them to any of my friends though these are at great location and well secured. Not worth for the rent paid.

The Point at Mcnair farm apartments is clean and good . Good maintenance and leasing office people are also very cool.Its a famous apartment which is center of all shops,gyms and mainly schools. parking space is lot here Plenty of parking ..

Please dont choose this apartment even though its gives you best rate in this Area. Because i had very bad experience with this Apartment. Any issues you got it will be fixed after one week from the notice and noisy.

The experience was very good at Point Mcnair. All the service requests were taken care of in a professional manner. The leasing staff did a great job in handling Tge community . The community gym was of great use although it needs lot of changes.
