We moved in the day before the massive snow storm last week. It is so peaceful and beautiful and the staff is so kind. Our Community Captain, Liz, has already checked in with us twice. Even though the snow storm had maintenance crazy busy, our request to have our shower curtain lowered was completed within 48 hours! I know people were upset about the massive amounts of snow, but personally, where were they supposed to put it? Kudos to Van Metre Woodland Park. We hope to stay here until there is a job relocation or we by a home.

Reason I choose to live at Woodland Park Apartments for the last 3 years. Even with a snowy day like today, the team is out and about the community making sure our walk and driveways are safe. I plan to renew my lease for a 4th year! Thank you for all you do!

After looking at many communities in the Herndon area, I came across Van Metre Woodland Park Apartments. I LOVE everything about this community. The staff in the office are very friendly and always ready to help. I went to my first event this past Friday and was very pleased with the turn out. I'm looking forward to the next Happy Hour already.

I currently live at Woodland Park apartments and the internet is absolutely horrible. Today my download speed is .23Mbps and upload is .10Mbps. I cannot do basic web searching without my internet timing out. I feel absolutely lied to about the shared internet on this property. I am glad that I do not have a business from home. Also, the property runs Dish and the screen is constantly freezing. During the completion of this review, my internet was still trying to fully connect so it took a long time for me to complete this review. As for the construction, the tubs make a cracking noise whenever any one is using it and some of our guests have even mentioned that they feel like they are going to fall through the tub. The floors squeak everywhere. Cabinets have contact paper all over them and the are peeling away from the cardboard made doors. The worst is that most residents probably have to drive their garbage to the compactor and lots of times when you get there, people will just throw their garbage in front of the compactor door instead of just putting it in. You literally have to crawl over the garbage bags to correctly dispose of your trash; this is gross and horrible that people want to live this way. All the apartment will do is send out notices asking a complex full of adults to throw their trash away instead of putting up cameras or something. I can't wait to move....

I have lived at Van Metre Woodland Park apartments for about 3 years now and I don't regret the move at all. I moved here after my Mom who lived in Herndon became ill and I wanted to be closer to her. My Mom passed away in February 2012 and I never once considered moving from here because I really like it here. The office staff is great, from the property manager on to the others are all fantastic and often call and make sure every thing is okay, or if you need anything. The maintenance staff is just as wonderful. I was away for a few days between Christmas and New Years, when I returned home I found a bunch of water on the floor of my bathroom, I called the maintenance hotline and within 5 minutes of having hung up the phone from talking to them the maintenance guy was at my door and this was on a Sunday. He cleaned up all the water in the bathroom and proceeded to find out what happen. He went upstairs to the apartment above me to see what was going on up there, on his way down he stopped by my apartment to let me know what caused this to happen. You don't find many apartment project that have maintenance on staff and on call, but this one does. I love it here and have no plans to move. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone.

It's unfortunate that the highest points you give is 5. I would have added an additional 5 points to the points. I have moved a lot and this apartment was not on my list. I'm really impressed with the staffs responsiveness to my concerns. I did not get everything I wished for, yet I have a wonderful experience thus far. Kudos to the team. I hope we have options in terms of cable providers.

I called the maintenance hotline for ASAP service and within 5-10 minutes someone was at my door and took care of the problem. I am just so blessed to be living at a place that takes their maintenance and other things to heart and seriously. It is one of the million reasons I love being part of the Van Metre Woodland Park family. I mean everyone is just wonderful from the Property Managers to the maintenance guys. I just wanted to say the staff is wonderful and that I am a pleased resident. It's good know that I don't only have a good property mangers but friends as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at Woodland Park. The management and maintenance personnel are extremely nice and professional. They always provided wonderful customer service. My husband and I are so glad that we selected Woodland Park as our first apartment in VA. We highly recommend Woodland Park.

My stay at Woodland Park has been great. Going on 3 years, I have no complaints. Any issues that have arisen I have spoken with management about it and they have solved it to the best of their ability. I have witnessed other tenants being discourteous to the property (leaving trash outside their door, not picking up after pets and leaving trash outside the compactor) but that is to be expected anywhere. Overall good experience

Christine is by far the best leasing consultant that I have ever delt with. She is friendly, courteous, honest and cares about my needs. I have delt with many leasing companies in my years of renting and Van Metre is certainly ahead of the competition. Very clean and well maintained apartments. Location is excellent with shops in walking distance. Maintenance is very quick to respond to issues. Only negative part is the internet connectivity. Though we consistently get about 10 mbps, the internet connection frequently gets disconnected (comes back up in few seconds). Would have loved to get a faster and reliable connection.

My husband I have been here for a year and half and we have enjoyed out time here. Our Community Captain, along with maintenance team members are always quick to respond with issues we have had. The typical issues are the trash compactors, which we realize is beyond the office's control. And of course the sad service with Hotwire, again, not the fault of the office's; however, watching pixelated shows gets extremely old and losing cable & internet service is frustrating. We've never experienced issues like this before at other complexes. Other than those issues, we are very happy with apt and with the team at Woodland Park!

Thanks for a great living experience. Lived at Woodland Park for the past 2 years and pans to renew our lease for another year. A little pricey but my husband and I love the convenience of the location esp.for work. Apt community well maintained. leasing staff very friendly and helpful, Maintenance always quick to address any concerns. Definitely recommend this community.

I have lived at Woodland Park Apartment for just about a year now and have loved it! I have found my experience to be enjoyable through friendly staff, amenities, clean community and convenience to shopping centers as well as Reston Towne Center and Tyson s Corner. My one bedroom apartment is very spacious, walk-in closets, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, balcony etc. The community is gated and apartments are alarmed which makes the community feel safe and more like home. My only complaint is parking is a little difficult after 8pm, the farthest I have to walk is 2 blocks, which isn t more than a few minutes. If there is a maintenance issue, they are out in a timely fashion and the problem is completed with ease. I will be renewing my lease following this month and plan to stay years to come!

I'm seeing a bunch of complaints, but I had just about the best maintenance experience I've ever had (having lived in a handful of communities over the years). I had an issue with my AC and one of the technicians, Phil, helped get me sorted out in less than 15 minutes. Phil was very friendly and seemed to really know his stuff. My AC is now blowing ice-cold air. It seems like they might be having some genuine problems based on some of the other reviews, but I can say that they do have at least one technician out here that is doing good work.
