good apartment except internet and cable
My main concern is internet. After i moved into this apartment i felt like i've moved to 90's dial-up connection.netflix won't stream. You cannot telecommute.I used to go to nearby panera bread for consistent internet.Remember you don't have choice to install your own internet once you move in.Otherwise its an excellent apartment.

Lots of research and Woodland won!
I performed a lot of research prior to renting a condo in this area. Out of the 17 communities I visited, the One Bedroom condo that I leased had the best floor plan, one of the largest sq ft per unit, was in the bottom 4 in pricing and had the best gym out of all communities I visited. This community was tied with a second community in this area, but the reason I ultimately selected this unit in addition to the facility was the staff. I took my first tour of the complex with Kenna McCabe. She was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time putting up with my questioning and number crunching. On my second visit I toured with Nicole Underwood. She was again extremely helpful and made me feel like I was immediately apart of the community. Her customer service was top notch. Finally, after signing the lease I met Tripp. Tripp is the only person that I have been in contact with. He is personable, is always talkative, is friendly and is always helpful. As a result, it was a combination of the unit AND the staff in the leasing office that convinced me that the Woodland Park unit was where I needed to stay.

great move-in experience
My move-in went smoothly. There were several people that went over and above to assist me with the move-in process, and other things, that showed great customer service on their part.

DANGER, beware of high-voltage power lines that run the length of Woodland Park
I wouldn't move into this apartment complex if I were you. High-voltage power line structures run the length of the entire community.

Worst Place to Live If You Need Parking, Internet or TV
Rent here only if you want to live without TV and Internet Service, If you think you are living in 21st century and want TV and Internet SERVICE then you better not get anywhere close to this apartment. During evening hours in the working day and all day in the weekends your internet speed will not exceed dial up connection speed(56 kbps)...NO JOKING... TV is another horrible service that they have...You will end up paying $70 for nothing every-month(Yes, that's a mandatory charge)...Sad part is you can't even get service from others...Getting a parking spot is another horror the residence face everyday... STAY AWAY...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED....

very impressed
They did an outstanding job helping me get into this unit and then when news came sooner than expected that the rest of my family would be moving to VA, they again rose to the occasion and found us a new, bigger unit. they do an excellent job of maintaining and exceeding customer relations.

I have moved several times over the last 7 years, 5 different apartment communities; and I have never been more satisfied with the customer service and overall quality of life I have been fortunate enough to find here at Woodland Park. I have referred several friends here that are looking to move in the near future and assured them that they too would have the same experience my husband I have have been lucky to have. The entire staff made the leasing experience very easy for us. My husband and I both work between 60-70 hours a week so it could have been a really stressful transition for us, they did everything they could to "make our moving experience the best it could be" and we greatly appreciate that. We also had a few maintenance issues when we first moved in. Our washing machine broke and the internet wasn't hooked up properly. Both problems were fixed within 24 hours. Perfect. We are very happy. Thank you :)

Management is dishonest an unresponsive
I highly recommend that you do not lease from these swindlers. They will fabricate damages when you vacate the apartment in order to cover their renovation costs for the next tenant. Their maintenance staff is slow to respond and incompetent when they finally do so. There is a severe lack of available parking and the gates are broken more than they are fixed. There were several break-ins while we were there and management tried to cover it up by sending out notices that suggested intruders did not actually break into apartments themselves. In addition, there were numerous incidents of vandalism to cars. Overall, this was this was the worst experience I ever had as a tenant.

They drastically increase rent when you renew lease
I recently received a letter saying that if I want to renew my lease I will now have to pay $220 more per month. I called and asked why and they said "because that is what your apartment is worth". I asked if it was negotiable because I could not afford an increase of that amount and they said, "sorry, it is not negotiable". I understand that rent may increase from time to time, but a 16% increase is absolutely insane. My wife and I both work for companies that are have enforced a wage freeze. So my income is not increasing, how am I supposed to cover such a large increase in my rent???

Good Community but with Parking Nightmares
I have been staying in the community for about 2 years now. Overall, I am satisfied with the maintenance and up-keep of the property and prompt service requests. Customer service used to be great but has degraded in 2009. Few things: 1. $70 is charged (mandatory) from all residents which includes facilities fees, internet and Basic cable (upto 60 channels) from MDU communications. Internet used to be un-reliable but has become much better now. Cable does not give you too many options and so if you are used to having good cable and internet connection if might want to do you research and then rent. When you come to rent here, management will probably tell you that they are about to sign a contract with Verizon for internet - but that is a lie. They have been telling this to their resident for the last 3-4 (may be more) years! 2. I don't think parking is adequate in the complex. The problem is there is not enough parking, and I don't think they enforce towing for cars which are parked without stickers. Parking spaces are not evenly distributed in the complex (by units) which results in residents parking their car quarter to half a mile within the complex at times! In cold weather that can be a good freezing walk! The work-around is that residents do have the option to rent a garage for about $150 - otherwise there are no reserved parking spaces. 3. Finally, you might also want to check how far is the trash area from your unit - in some cases it is a good 5 mins walk! Overall, it is a decent complex. If you can adjust to the 3 things I mentioned above - then I recommend you move in here.

WELL I'M VERY HAPPY!
I have lived here for over 4 months now. I'm extremely happy here. Yeah, the snow removal could've of gone smoother, but I saw the maintenance staff out there at 4 AM putting down salt. And for those reviews who say all these reviews are written by the staff - are you serious? Go in the office at any given time - it is always busy. Esp. after 4:30...(I always need to get my packages then...) I've seen residents screaming and yelling at the staff about whatever the case may be. Do you really think they have TIME to write fake reviews? Yeah, sometimes parking sucks, but stop coming home at 2 AM after a party...stupid. I would suggest that they put more trash compactors - I'm in the middle of the property and do have to take my trash in my car to put it in one of the compactors. The staff is extremely nice and friendly, however, always busy. Of course they can't cater to your ever need. I just think it's quite hilarious. This is the biggest property I have lived at, and believe me, has the biggest gym too!! The only thing I think could be better is having more things for the staff. Maybe I've just worked in costumer service for too long and see the pain they go through! I think they need the break... Seriously, sit down and do there job for a day - it looks extremely stressful!!! And majority of the time they just have to take it in and smile. I do take notice of this because I've seen staff come and go in such a short amount of time. If you want someone who isn't just mad and pissed off and thinks it's cool to "blog" out stuff to try and "ruin" someone's reputation...send me an email and I'll give you my serious opinion on the property.

THIS Place Blows
The positive reviews are done-up by the staff. DO not rent here! The parking is an absolute nightmare, the dog plop that litters the property is equal to walking through a minefield. I think one of the maintenance guys is a full blown alcoholic/ crack smoker. This place is CHEAP, overpriced, basically a scam! Do you need more proof? Happy, Happy, Happy!
I had the pleasure of having Prince Sharma as my leasing consultant throughout the leasing process. Prince was incredibly responsive, very understanding and approachable, and a huge help from the minute I first walked in the Woodland Park door. The staff as a whole has been great, the move in process has been as seamless as possible, and overall I could not have been more pleased with everything I have experienced. My unit was very clean at move-in, and as a whole I was extremely satisfied.

STAY AWAY....DON'T BELIEVE ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS
Its been only a month since I moved in, I can tell you by far this is the worst apartment I have ever lived. 1. I made 3 visits to the leasing office yet I have not got my copy of the lease, I have not received the Apartment entrance gate key/remote whatever you call it, Carpets looked like it was completely worn out(Wrote in the move-in inspection and asked them to replace), nothing has been done so far. Paints coming out from all the kitchen cubboards(This was written in Move-in inspection) no action yet, Living room blinds and master bedroom blinds not working(This too was written in Move-in inspection) no action yet. Handrails in both the stairs peeling out from the wall even if we just touch it(This too was written in the move-in inspection) no action has been done so far. At least 3 times, I went personally to request maintenance, so far no use. This is the worst apartment where you have nothing good and the customer service(I wonder if it even exist here) Also you will be forced to pay Basic TV HIGHSPEED(Mostly worst than Dial up speed) Internet charge of $70 even if you don't use(You can't use it as the internet connection is worst than dial up connection most of the time, YES it will be high speed as they claim during wee hours (from 12 Midnight until 8 AM) and again during the times when no other neighbours use it). Winning a megamillion lottery is easier than finding a parking space in the whole community after 8 PM.(Cancel all your plans and get back to your apartment before 8 PM or leave your car in your friends place) I know apartments don't have thick walls but this apartment has no walls, I can hear rain drops so clearly that I thought my kitchen TAP was leaking, You can even hear your neighbors snoring sound during nights. Even when our neighbors walk in the stairs, You hear as if they are walking in your own apartment. I made a wrong decision but hey I am not planning to suffer, instead I am planning to make them suffer during this one year that they should just ask me to go away.

Great apartments; highly recommend!
It is a very tidy community. The rent is very reasonable, for the value of the price you get a nice environment where you can feel home. All the employees are polite and willing to help you.Of course I like the apartments too, they are clean and stylish, good floor plan.

I enjoy living here - plese read
Management, leasing agents and maintenance personnel were all very professional, courteous and friendley to me upon my move in. There were a couple of minor matters when I first moved in, but those were resolved in less then 24 hours. From start to finish, my move-in was a very good experience. Now that I am unpacked and settled, I am thoroughly enjoying my life at Woodland Park!
