I like this community. Everyone is very friendly and very helpful. The playground is great for my son and his friends. The summers are great because of the pools. The events they have a fun and I get to know a lot of the other residents. The maintenance people are always glad to help and come right away. Now with the shopping center right across the street living here is even better.

Wonderful!!

We have been here at Woodland Park for the last year and the staff has been wonderful. When I had a problem in our community it was quickly addressed and resolved. The maintenance of our unit was always performed with quick efficiency. We figured that parking might be a problem having two cars and a motorcycle, so we opted for a garage. This was an inexpensive solution for one car and the motorcycle. Surprisingly, we never had a problem locating a parking spot for the second car. Maybe we were fortunate, but I always found a parking spot for my car first time, every time. If anyone is looking for a community that you are made to feel welcomed and wanted; then here is the community.

maintenance is great

One of the best parts about this property is the maintenance staff. They are always extremely quick to respond to any issues in my apartment. The condition of the property is also great because of this. Very well maintaned. I'm happy to live here.

love my apartment

I just rencently moved into this property and love it. My apartment is just as I was told it would be and have had no problems. The staff was also really helpful with my move and easing my concerns. Overall this is a great property to call home.

very nice move, mr. sharma is the best

This is a lovley property and made for a great move. Also, A lot to say about Mr. Sharma. When called from Seattle, Washington, Mr. Sharma already gave me a great impression as a very business and a strong individual. He made my move back to Virginia in a great easy way. I Had my best friend come and visit the Woodland Park property, she had a Tour done by Mr. Sharma, with lots of knowledge and professionalism. Make me feel very happy and secure to deal with Mr. Sharma.

Bad Quality Buildings

Management and maintenance are OK, but the quality of the buildings themselves are what I have a major problem with. * vinyl tiles in kitchens -- some are yellowed, the glue is coming out the edges of all of them, and nobody thinks to just replace the whole kitchen floor with one good sheet of vinyl (or, God forbid, something phthalate-free like ceramic or hardwood). * bathtubs squeak like there's nothing below them to support them * ceilings crack or leak * toilets break regularly, especially the handles * apartment layout is terrible. You're forced to put the TV next to a window or in a corner that doesn't directly face a place you could put a seat. That or you've got a huge ugly fake fireplace jutting out into your space, or a bunch of shelves that break a room in half. * kitchen space is not even enough for a college student who only uses a microwave to heat Ramen. * parking is a NIGHTMARE, and people speed through the neighborhood as if they could care less if they hit a small child OR adult! * internet almost NEVER works

I'm over all very satisfied with Woodland Park. The managment on site is always fast to respond to any problems that may arise. I recently had some issues with Internet access but it was taken care of with urgency and now works better then ever! I have had a great exprience at this property.

Feel at Home

The amaneties on the property, and just the condition of the property in general, is very nice. Andrea Volbrecht is wonderful. She went out of her way to make living here such a pleasant experience. I definitely feel at home.

We have enjoyed our 5 year stay here at Woodland Park

We have had the most enjoyable stay here for the past 5 years!! It is said that the difference between ordinary and extra-ordinary is that little "extra". Tom and his team are making those very extra-ordinary efforts. Me and my wie join in extending kudos to the team.

no plans to leave!!

Everyone has been very very very nice since the first day I walked in here. They made me fall in love with the place and it is very peaceful here. That is why I have been so happy, even if I am a work-a-holic. And I hope to stay here until I am able to buy a home of my own because I do not think that there is another place better to live that this.

Lived here for 1 & 1/2 years and loving it!

I have been a tenant at Woodland Park for the last year and half. Jessica Robertson has always been my main contact. She helped me move in and takes care of everythnig I need. I really feel that she cares about the tenants here. The maintenance department has also been very responsive to the issues that arise maintaining my apartment. I am impressed by their sense to urgency and professional manner.

Safe and Comfortable Living

I have enjoyed my stay at Van Metre thus far. The enviroment feels safe and I feel comfortable living here. I am please with how nice and helpful the staff is. I also like the option of being able to pay rent online and communicating with residents via email. (Most rental properties do not offer that). I also like all the social events that are sponsored by the Van Metre community.
