Pleased

I have been very satisfied with the service I have received at Woodland Park. The onsite managment and maintenanace staff have been wonderful and attentive to my problems. I also have been pleased with my unit.

Not all that perfect

I agree with some of the bad reviews. Even though the apartment is very nice and the ammenaties are great, some things could be improved. Some of the leasing staff are very unpolite and seem to not tell you the whole picture. The maintenance is good overall but some times it takes them very long time to respond. There is very limited parking if you don't live in a townhouse. Also, there is very poor insulation of the windows. Some rooms are much colder than the rest of the house. When told maintanance about this, they did nothing.

Bad experience with Move out inspection

Be really careful about the checkout inpection. It's very tricky. First, you have to call the maintenance yourself to schedule an inspection. Even you ask them to do the inspection in front of you they'll still try to come in when you are not there (maybe after your move out). And later a big bill come into your new mailbox and say there is a big damage you have to pay. You have no way to check what and when exactly happened on the damage.

Resident review

Woodland van Metre is the worst apartment we have ever been. The management showed us one apartment and gave some other phase apartment, when we asked about that they said we can move to other apartment but we need to pay the move out fee eventhough the mistake was theirs'. When we moved in, the apartment was dirty enough but the management does not bother when we gave complaint. The toiltes will be leaking all the time, automatic flushing, wood creaking sounds. Parking place is very limited, if you come at evening 7.00 PM then you won't get the place to park the vehicle. Always loud sounds and noices from the sorrounding neighbors, childrens will be running all around without supervision of the parents. If the parents observe vehicle coming also they never tell their children to go aside. These guys did not gave us the lease agreement document and when we asked about that they said it is the coustomer responsibility to ask for it before hand. When we gave the move out notice they said we can move out on or before Nov 30th as our lease will expire at that time and then when we are about to move in two days, the assistant manager calls us and tells that we need to pay $350 because our lease got expired on Nov 11th and we have to pay the rent on the month to month basis.

I think not.

I have lived here for 6 months now and have really enjoyed it. I do not queston that these reviews are real or not because I agree with them all. My apartment is great and just what I was told it would be. The staff in the office is helpful, friendly, and are there when you need them. The property is always well maintained. The only issue I have experienced is with the internet service but it was quickly respolved when I called the company tech. support line.

Are these fake reviews?

(Note: I am not a current/former tenant. I am a prospective tenant.) Many of these 500 reviews appear to be fake. Take a look at all the 5-star reviews: a lot of them are made in clusters on the same dates. Also, it seems very unusual that this complex has so many reviews - way more than similar apartments in the area. This seems to be a red flag.

Awesome!

I love it here. My apartment is awesome and the property is always well maintained. I give this property 5's all around. The office staff is also great, especailly Caitlyn. She rocks and makes my day every day she is in the office.

I have lived in this community for some time now and am very happy. The staff has been exceptional. My leasing agrent Caitlyn, is a very professional Leasing Manager and very personable. I have enjoyed working with her on my apartment needs. I also beebn impressed by the responsivness of the maintenance staff, always quick and efficient.

I like living here a lot. Before moving in I heard some negative things but was proved wrong. The staff is wonderful and always there to help me with everything, no matter how small. My apartment is beautiful. when I moved in it was everything I was told it would be. I am very pleased with this property. I plan on renewing my lease when it comes up.

I have been very pleased with the attentive and posative attitude of the on-site managment here. They were very helpful with my leasing process and since I moved in. Any work that I need is done in a timley manner. I have overall enjoyed my time at this property.

Wonderful staff and property.

The staff was very helpful with my leasing and moving process, especailly my leasing agent Prince. Prince Sharma is a very good job with regards to rental process. Prince was knowledgeable about the process and exhibited a professional attitude that I appreciate. The property is in great shape. I am very happy with my decision to move to Woodland Park.

Van Metre Woodland Park

I've just recently relocated from New Jersey and am absolutely new to the area. We visited several rental communities before deciding on Woodland Park. What a great decision. I absolutely love it. The staff is nice and friendly, the grounds are always clean and it's conveniently located. Just 10 minutes from Dulles Airport, within 15 minutes of 3 great malls, surrounded by restaurants, and a short drive to Washington, DC and MD. I'm extremely happy with the elementary school as well.

one of the best places to live

I have lived in a lot of communities where we have had to rent an apartment. But Woodland Park is by far, the best place that I have done so. Any issue, no matter how small, was immediately addressed and resolved. The staff, both administrative and maintenance are highly professional. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a place to live. If we were not buying property, I would certainly renew my lease.
