Awful maintenance stole jewelry out of my apartment and the guys are still working here. The steps are filthy with trash, bugs, and spider webs. Our decks need to be power washed. The trash is always overflowing because we don't have enough trash bins. My unit has a flea problem when I first moved in.

    There is soo much disfunction in these apartments. If you ask to speak with the property manager, she will never get on the phone or if you come in person she will use others around her to talk to you. The apartments are extremely loud. The walls and floors are very thin. You can hear literally everything! There are people who will shoot or pop fireworks depending on their mood, and the fees for trash, water, and sewage are wayy too expensive. We also pay a small fee for pest control but they haven't sprayed since I've been here. There's an infestation CONSTANTLY of spider webs and spider an all around the walk ways and stairways in the community and no one does anything about it! Do Not Move here!

      The apartments are very nice , very spacious however the neighbors think they run the complex, new people move in and there's issues with their neighbors! I only been here a year and my AC unit conked out on the hottest week of the summer ! Took a week for them to replace it and while replacing it our floors were soaked with the small units we got to keep us cool until the new AC comes and it stained the carpet bad , stains are still there ! Maintenance is very lazy they have old men who's been working for them for over 20 years and they can barely walk up the stairs ! They give you number for work orders and that company is lazy they never submit your order they just say they do the lady doesn't even speak good English for real .. The people in the office are lazy as well and I'm not even sure who works in office due to new workers coming in and leaving out permanently ? no smoking inside your apartment , you can smoke inside but the neighbors will tell that your smoke smell is coming inside their home when you can barely smell anything from anyone .. don't move in if you have kids a lot of people will complain about your music and your kids being too loud ! Predominantly white neighborhood as well , but then again it is Yorktown.. I'm moving as soon as my lease is up next year so yeah I'd give them a year max and 1.5 start rating

        For the most part it has been good - but unfortunately the staff tends to not ask questions when a situation occurs - they just send you notices and that is not customer service in my opinion especially when I have been in the PM business for over 30 years.

            Overall my experience has been good, move one as relatively easy and I like that I have the option to use Flex to pay my rent. Maintenance responds fairly quickly for emergencies and the office provides information when asked. I think though that it would be nice to have a portal to submit and track maintenance requests as I requested something in person at the office that has yet to be addressed. I also think that the pest control fee is ridiculous considering the amount of spiders I find in my apartment

              I was looking for a certain price range on rent and when I found this place, it was nice looking and well kept. I went to look at an apartment and really liked what I saw. It was quiet and I got the 3rd floor which I like.

                  Our experience has been great. My neighbors are nice. The office staff and maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are pretty well kept. Except for the new dumpster that was put in. That stays a mess.

                    Grafton station is indeed the best. The staff in the leasing office is always a pleasure to work with and super friendly to all of our neighbors. I've been in the neighborhood for three years and I'd definitely renew my lease again. No complaints at all.

                      You pay for 20$ for trash also pay for pest control & water which you mostly won't be told during the signing process dog feces aren't picked up and dogs run freely offices barely want to solve problems every answer is call the cops

                        Very Quiet neighborhood. Staff is very helpful and maintenance is good at their jobs. Close access to shopping and restaurants. Grounds are well kept and the apartments are nice.. Tennis courts, pool and gym are a plus.

                          Nice apartment complex. I grew up here years ago and felt comfortable to come back to live here. Might need some work regarding the outside appearance of some of the buildings. Parking can be scarce with some buildings having only 3 rows for 4 buildings.

                            Quiet surroundings, close to Walgrees, CVS, accessible to Williamsburg and with everything you need close to the complex, including dentists, doctors, etc. Traffic is not like Newport News or Hampton.

                              Could be better parking is an issue some residents aren't able to park due to guest vehicle or resident vehicles that are inoperable I would suggest at least parking permits for the resident vehicles also noise complaint protocols when we complain all we get is record and send it we'll put a note on the door but it's never fully resolved

                                The Tenants above me are making it difficult every day for me to live here. Everyday hour upon hours, they drop hard objects on their floor it as if they're moving Large, heavy furniture EVERYDAY. I can't get any peace. I've had to move from same situation from another apartment, but these ppl are worse. I am so tired, they have No regards.

                                  Loving it so far..

                                  Just moved here this week, but through this whole process, everybody in the leasing office has been so helpful, nice, & supportive! A personal HUGEEEEE s/o to Brittany for helping me out. I know I was a pain in the butt calling her everyday, but not once did she complain & once I got approved, she greeted me with a big hug. I say all this to say, I’m glad I’m apart of the Grafton Station Apartments family. I love the private lake, there’s a bark park for my fur baby Wynter, and a pool!

                                    Geographics & regional differences somewhat difficult to adjust to coming from Arizona. Accounting glitches complicated rent pmt process temporarily.                                       Good place to live. Maintainence is usually pretty quick with requests. Staff in office is very nice. I wish they would clean up the stairways and siding. Power wash them. The pool is nice and clean however I wish we could use floats. Especially if the pool isn't busy. Even maybe just for the adults in the deep end

                                        Nice area and quiet for the most. Staff is great to my kids and myself. Maintenence could use some work because they respond to what they want and half do the job assigned. The place is spacious and many apartments aren't set up like this.

                                            Compared to many places i have lived since moving back to VA in the beginning of 2020, this place is amazing. It is quiet and relaxing. Many other places I have lived are the opposite. My main complaint in this community would be the dumpster gets full easy and when it does people just pile the trash in front of it. Whoever is responsible for getting rid of it does an ok job getting rid of it all but it sometimes takes longer than ideal.

                                              I love this community. Its peaceful and I feel safe. The only downfall is the roaches. I lived with my sister for about 2yrs , I never saw a roach. I been living in NC for the pass 27 yrs I rented houses, so apartment living I'm not use to it. My overall experience , I will still rate this community as a 5 star.

                                                I was blindsided by high cost of the utility bills, especially for the electric and gas. I find them to be extremely outrageous for a 1 bedroom apartment. Other than this, the office staff, maintenance and grounds crew are helpful.

                                                  neighbors in my building are very loud and disrespectful.... walking up to my camera at 4:30am loud and drunk screaming and cussing into the camera.... walking over to the neighbor beside me screaming in front of their door, jumping around... shouting off the porch to people downstairs..... antagonizing my dogs on purpose! I havent been here long and dealing with this already... def wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'm only here to keep my kids in the school system as we are coming from an amazing area in York county to this..
