Great management and Representatives
Tbh the highlight of my move-in was Lauren. Her amazing personality and character showed how knowledgeable, communicative, accessible and patient she was with me having a lot of questions and possibly asking the same questions over making sure I had everything I needed. She even assisted me with guidance from her amazing supervisor on behalf of my Two ESA animals. Overall they are cool folks fr, definitely chop it up with Lauren if you ever come through looking for a crib.

Great location!! Being a resident here for many years, I have noticed a huge increase in rent every year, but little maintenance and upkeep. The schools are great and close by. Lots of kids in the complex.

Its been honestly awful, the maintenance men never show up on time. Often when I Know they are on the clock and I am on my way to work they can be found at 7 eleven or at the goodwill store shopping. The apartment complex was charging us almost 300$ over the rent that they had quoted us on thrn dodged our calls for weeks and are trying to charge us more money again

Nice and quiet area, very ideal location. I've had multiple occassions where maintenance was unreliable. I think it's rather unusual that management has put out multiple emails about having no decorations/lights on the patios (just seems normal to me if it's within taste). It also almost seems as if the office does not look at their email inbox whatsoever, as I have had sent multiple emails with zero responses, so i had to call, defeating the purpose.

I love this community it's convenient access to a lot of stores I love the fact that they have community events Everyone I met so far has been so nice and the rental office employees are great the maintenance crew gets thework order complete in a timely manner

From the start, this apartment has been a disaster. On the first day, the cabinets were falling off their hooks, the metal guard for the door was sticking out at 45 degree angle and almost cut me when I moved it, the blinds continuously fell off, there was mold in the carpet, and the toilet didn't work. After 2 days, maintenance came by and "fixed" most of it, but I ended up having to replace the inner mechanisms of the toilet myself because it continued not to flush. My cabinets still don't close and the plumbing in this building is so terrible that one time, the toilet got backed up when I wasn't home, overflowed, and seeped through the floor of the bathroom and onto my downstairs neighbor. During my first year, the sliding door started to leak so every time it rained (literally every other day in the summer), I had to put buckets by the glass door so it wouldn't flood my carpet. It took them 5 months to come in and fix the door. Maintenance is constantly critically understaffed and they don't tell you when they are stopping by even if they come by during work hours. If you miss them twice, they won't come back to fix your problem. In the last three years, maintenance has been so slow that I've gotten fed up and just started to fix things myself. I've had to fix my bathroom sink, my dishwater, my closet door, some of my cabinets, and my front lock with my own tools. They charge a pest control fee per month, but it doesn't seem to do much since I still get insects, including American roaches (management calls them water bugs, but I'm from New York and I know a roach when I see one). The wooden patios on these buildings are constant targets for wasp nests and I've had to remove 4 last year alone. Aside from the building structural issues, management is non-communicative and you have to ask them 4 times if you want them to do anything and they can and will act like it's your fault that they're so disorganized. Most of the time, they're rude and act like they're constantly in a rush.

Community has been great, very friendly people. Staff has been nice. Had a noise complaint from us a while back when we weren't home but didnt need to counter the report since it couldve been someone from our floor. Had a washing machine mulfunction that has been seen twice by staff and have been very helpful. Just need the carpet fixed since my cat has been playing with the loose carpet and tearing it up. Work orders are very fast depending on if its in house or out.

I haven't had any problems since living here except 1?It seems lately there have been children knocking on people's doors and running away. The latest incident, a kid tore my American flag off of my door. So now, I don't put a wreath or anything on my door.

Rent increased from $1289 to $1699 and there is just no justification for this. I don't even have a renovated apartment. If I have to show proof of income just to move in, this should never be able to happen. It should be illegal to raise rent this much in a short period of time.

I love this community, it's quiet, everyone seems to mind their own business. They offer help when they see you maybe struggling. The only concern I have is with the distance of the trash bin, I know you can drive to it but it's the inconvenience of having to go out every 2 - 3 days.

It's a great community! Lots of children for our kids to play with. However more trash receptacles would be nice, there is currently 1 for all the apartments to share. It's a great location especially if you have school age kids. Witching walking distance to the elementary school!

It's very difficult to get maintenance to come help with issues I've experienced in my home. I have to contact them multiple times just for them to come fix something and sometimes the issue comes right back days later. I like the complex but it's very obvious to see how much work doesn't get done.

This is the first apartment I've been unhappy with and I've lived in income restricted places that were nicer. Not only is it outrageously expensive and mediocre now I have new neighbors who stomp over my head I just moved away from the same situation. This will be a one and done situation first moved here apartment was not ready then everything in here was used had old tub back of toilet boil top didn't match toilet and had nerve to have a roach carcus on it. Roaches were problem in the beginning but not anymore thank goodness. I don't use my cabinets I use my laundry room to store dishes and food because the cabinets have an odor. From neighbors who lived here they stated the previous tenants had been here 10 years and it took them a week or so to get the apartment straight. There is black mold that grows around the patio door on the inside and around the windows that I clean and comes back. Like I mentioned earlier first moved here it was quiet now it sounds like I have 10 elephants over my head. Not sure if calling the office is right thing to do because all they'll say is it's daytime or they have kids. But when your paying this type of rent everyone should be respected when it comes to noise. Good thing time is flying and I might even check out sooner because this has not been a good experience. And another issue we did not turn our utilities on i.e gas because I don't like gas stoves not knowing the heat runs off gas in previous apartments that must have already been included in rent. So here we are paying over $200 more than what our rent is. Trash, water, taxes the def are taking advantage of people in a time like this. To the naked eye this is a nice place but to sit here and analyze it's not so nice.

This is a great place to live. It would be better if all the apartments were updated. It's nice that they are close to the shopping center and the elementary school. It's an easy commute to work. Its good neighborhood.

Grafton station is a nice community that lacks updating. When your neighbors below you are smoking weed in their home your whole house will also reek of it. Maintenance does great at responding quickly to emergencies and solving the issue. Lots of good community events.

Safe, affordable, logistically relevant location, very good maintenance response for my specific 2-BR unit. Social venue is available, but not something I participate in. Mgmt would do better if they called specific tenants they feel are in violation, along with their letters- they miss the boat sometimes, especially where there is an exception and the Tenant is not technically in violation due to accounting errors!

Sorry to say that we are suffering a lots of insects problem.I have informed about this to office and they people have really tried their lavel best but we could not get positive results of pest treatment also . It is really very unhygienic living here. I have numerous of videos of insects which will be shown at any time,

It's been a nightmare. My ac hasn't worked since I moved in so I was forced to use plug in air conditioners (2) because I'm not paying all this money to live in one room. Was running $300 to $420 power bills monthly and they refused to chip in and help pay for it stating it's because of the 2 plug in I was using which I was FORCED to use because I have a baby that was MISERABLE!! Makes no sense!!!

I've really enjoyed living here. It is a quiet and safe community. The office and maintenance staff have always been kind, respectful and helpful when things have come up. There are many amenities that help justify the high rent princes.

dry rotted screen at patio door, threadbare carpet, holes in carpet & vinyl flooring, rust on overhead lighting mount in bathroom, nicks in sink basin, nicks & holes in bathtub, no handrail in shower surround (have fallen 3X), roaches in bathroom & kitchen, filthy aluminum siding on building, overflowing dumpster & compactor.

Nice environment, close to good school and food lion. But residents smoke weed inside the apartment, at their balcony and by the apartment side. Air conditioner gets that weed smoke to pull inside the other apartment. I have notified the management several times. It was not resolved. My minor children, my wife and I have been spending terrible time to reside inside. Finally decided to go elsewhere.

Overall, the staff has been dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing of the community. The Grafton Maintenance Team are an amazing group of talented individuals who take pride in supporting the residents repair issues!!!! Office turnover continues to be frustrating, as training of staff is a frustration to the community. Thankfully Talehia along with Manager Melindia.

Generally clean and well maintained. Office manager isn't very friendly but the rest of the staff is nice. Not many community activities to meet your neighbors. I love that we're so close to everything but we're also set back in a quiet area.

Maintenance is trusty and reliable. Office staff are friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is pretty, and grocery shopping is a short walk away if one needs to walk. It is a convenient place to live, and the schools are excellent.
