Illegal aliens roam through the complex no doubt looking for things to steal. These are real low-life types straight from the streets of santa ana/tijuana. If they're not stealing they're harassing and confronting residents trying to intimidate us with dirty looks and following us to our units or trying to pick fights. This isn't just at night it's happening in broad daylight. Luckily aliso viejo has a gang taskforce who is often here unfortunately not all the time. Didn't realize this place was such a ------. The nice landscaping fooled us.

Overall the staff at the leading center are very helpful. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. They have a parcel pickup system where you can pick up deliveries at anytime of the day which is really convenient.

I like my apartment and my LARGE patio. It's great. After 20 years however, the hallway floors are in DIRE NEED OF SERIOUS SCRUBBING AND STAIN REMOVING, especially in an apartment complex where some people can be slobs and not care about their surroundings. Also it would be nice if the bird crap would be cleaned off the bannisters. That also is disgusting. I've mentioned the floors many many times. Nothing has ever been done. This property has the potential to be a lot nicer and cleaner than it is. More attention should be paid. I suggest getting someone here from the SHEA FAMILY. I'm sure they would agree.

I found the apartments through a real estate agent and commuted to the lease site unseen because I needed security and a home for my 93-year-old father. The staff has always been courteous and professional, my current apartment is mostly quiet, and the maintenance crew is terrific.

We have enjoyed our time here, love the area, it's got so many opportunities with the movie theater and great restaurants in walking distance. We do have concerns with management letting some parking and enterance concerns slipping.

We just moved in 1 week ago. Here's my review. Absolutely hate it here. There seems to be a biker gang person with a super loud motor bike who comes and goes throughout the night. Maintenance has randomly used their key and walked right in twice this week for no reason at all. Water was completely shut off for a full 24 hours. Couldn't shower, clean up or flush the toilet. Homeless people knock on doors begging for money. Apparently the front office is ok with this. We should have moved to one of the other complexes surrounding the town center.

poor notice for the abundance of alarm tests and entries into apartment. You are expected to take PTO if you have pets to secure them for these. High rate of theft and car damage in parking structure. maintenance staff rocks.

City Lights is a lovely community to live in with a great staff. You can't beat the clean, friendly community with tons of restaurants, shops & the movies within walking distance. Also, very close to the 73 toll road!

It is a great community to live with great amenities. Beautiful landscaping, clean pools. Everything is really great. The only negative aspect of the community is the corridor flooring that looks dirty and ugly although it is cleaned very often!

My stay here has been great. The office staff is always polite and helpful, and likewise the maintenance staff. There has not been much need for maintenance, but when needed, it was handled quickly and thoroughly. The grounds are kept up well; it always looks nice here. The concrete walls block sound pretty effectively. I'm never bothered by noise. For a time, I had next-door neighbors with a new-born, and I could never hear crying. The 24-hour availability at the gym is a definite plus. The only thing I'm not completely happy with is the parking, though I've had much worse. My assigned spot is great, and when I was alone here, it was fine. But when my girlfriend moved in, I found that there is no way to get a second assigned spot, so now we have to deal with guest parking. While there is ample guest parking available, we very often have to drive two to four levels up in the parking lot to get a spot, which at times is pretty painful.

Location and the layout plan of the space is great. Parking is also great. We are literally across the street to grand park, restaurants, shopping, and everything you could need. The pools, workout facilities and classes offered are great amenities including washer and dryer hookup in your unit!

Been here for one month. We regret signing the lease. Had maybe 1 or 2 full nights of sleep since moving here. Every other night we are woken up with vehicle alarms or loud motorcycle noise or barking dogs or loud music. We tried to get the staff to do something but they just tell us to call the police. Why should we have to call the police every single night? They are here all the time anyway. It seems like a biker gang lives here or visits here or conducts criminal activity here, who knows. This is the most expensive rent in aliso with smaller units when compared to the other complexes that also surround the town center. We got trapped in a very bad situation. It's so stressful coming home from work knowing we can't relax.

Endless fake 5 star reviews about themselves from the dishonest, lazy, dbag staff. How hard is it to stop the constant motorcycle noise waking us up every single night. Or do something about the car burglaries happening nightly. Car alarms go off constantly with passing motorcycles and the thieves breaking car windows. That's a clue right there you idiots. The security guard is useless. All this is happening literally right in front of his nose and the dishonest staff who would rather post fake 5 star reviews.

We have lived at City Lights at Town Center for 7 months now and it has been such a positive experience. The front office staff and especially our leasing agent Laura have given us excellent, friendly service. The maintenance staff are also prompt and friendly. With so many people here they the staff recognize and greet us when they see us. The floor plans of the apartments are well designed and the space is generous. The bathrooms are larger than all the condos and apartments I had looked at and because of the well designed floor plan, are not seen from the kitchen or living area as is the case in some of the new apartments like APEX. All the residents we've met here are friendly. Having the Town Center across the street has cut my driving time in half and now I'm walking more and meeting more people. And having activities like 4th of July Fireworks and Concerts in the Park just a stroll down the street has been fun. Overall living here has made our lives much easier.

We just moved in this month. The good: 1) Located close to the town center. (but so are 3 other apartment complexes). The bad: 1) Endless motorcycle noise followed by dozens of car alarms going off all night long. 2) Really cheap appliances. Had to call maintenance 3 times already. 3) Paper thin walls. We can hear our neighbors stay up all night with people over and music almost every night. 4) Uncaring and racist staff. 5) Smell of dog excrement everywhere. 6) Barking dogs 7) Car alarms after sound of breaking glass late at night 8) Creepy maintenance workers just use their key and walk right in for no apparent reason when i was naked in the shower. No I didn't have a maintenance order outstanding either. He was standing there watching me shower for who knows how long until I noticed him.

Renewed lease yearly based on location and convenience as well as amenities offered, as well as quality of maintenance and professionalism of service staff. I do feel the size of the community is overwhelming at 800+ units; makes it less personable and harder to get to know neighbors.

A rash of car burglaries has been happening the last few months. Car alarms go off throughout the night. Broken glass everywhere. Police are here all the time. Could it be all the foreigners living here? Or maybe the ------------- maintenance workers who watch your every move and know when you leave, and are home and have been known to enter units without permission all the time, coming home to find possessions rummaged through and missing. Residents also have items regularly stolen off balconies from the -------- who work here.

WARNING! Move here at your own risk. There is an outlaw motorcycle gang that has been terrorizing the residents for the last year that has taken up residence at City Lights. Despite dozens and dozens of complaints to the management they choose to do absolutely nothing. All the decent people have fled. Soon nothing but trash left here.

Grounds are filthy. From the hallways, parking structure, pools obviously are filled with urine. Dog poo everywhere. Smells of urine in the stairwells from the homeless people the management allows to live here. Also the illegal alien trash workers pick thru the garbage. I'm assuming it's for identity theft purposes. I pay the highest rent in aliso for all these "amenities". Good times.

Ongoing fake 5 star reviews from the dishonest, dimwit office workers to cover up the noise and disgusting dog feces problem around here. There is an outlaw motorcycle gang that these idiots allow to live here and terrorize the residents with extremely loud motorcycles with illegal, open exhausts. The biggest problem is when the gangmembers return home at 3 or 4 in the morning from their illegal gang activities and set off every single car alarm on their 10 minute ascent to the 4th floor. Plus there is the putrid dog crap problem here in every part of this complex. The office dimwits would rather post fake reviews than clean up this dump.
