City Lights is a great community. I have lived here for almost three years and love it. The apartments are beautiful, grounds are kept very nice, staff is always accommodating and pleasant. This is home to us!

I have loved living here. It is beautiful and the staff is great. My only real frustration has been some noisy neighbors and the sensitivity of the fire alarms and smoke detectors. They are extremely sensitive.

I love this property staff members and community. But my apartment is faced on the pool. I like see that peope are enjoing the pool, but sometines they listen to music, very loudly conversation until 10. It is too much for us. When I tell staffs about it, they come and take care of this issue, but I do not want to complain each time. So, if the apartment make an anouncement about manner of using pools or something it would be great.

It feels so much like a home. I'm very comfortable and I love the staff here . The staff really makes it a point to let the residents know they care. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else untying ready to purchase again.

There are 3 separate motorcycle losers on the 4th floor causing all this noise. All 3 bikes have illegal open exhaust with no mufflers. The first rides a Triumph and parks in space 1463. The second rides a harley and has been parking in guest space 1628. The third is another harley parking in space 1501. It's not even funny anymore. I get awoken at least a couple times a night now with these loud open pipes and all the car alarms they purposely set off while going up 4 levels. Every single one of my neighbors I talked to about this says it's a giant problem for them. It doesn't matter which unit you live in you can hear it because all units surround the parking structure. I think we should all sue shea properties. We pay the highest rent in aliso viejo just to not get any sleep. This noise has been going on for over 9 months now. To anyone thinking of moving here: LOOK ELSEWHERE unless you don't care about sleep.

I've only experienced a positive experience! Not 1 negative! This is an A+ community! You have to move here to believe it exsist! Linda was the first person I met and made my move in the greatest! She is truely a very kind and caring woman! She'll make sure it's perfect on move in day!!!! Everything is manicured. Pools and jacuzzis are cleaned all the time. No trash as they have staff that cleans not only grounds but garage as well! The rest of staff is so very nice and helpful as well; Liz and Luc are great. I've dealt with them the most but all staff is fantastic! Maintence is awesome. Lol I'm actually really contente here! I think that's most important. I'm on the 4th/top floor, which I know is the best and I'm lucky to be here!!!

Love the location, management and all the conveniences. Within a relatively short distance have access to all of our daily necessities. Dislike the selfish smokers! that violate the civil rules and makes it harder to enjoy the fresh air.

Terrible till my car got vandalized and management will not put cameras in garages. Our car insurance has increased $100.00 and management should pay for it. They do not care about their tenants. Worst property management company I have lived at

A very well maintained complex. Lots of extra amenities like exercise classes, postal packages boxes pick up lockers, holiday cooking and events, etc. Walking distance to any kind of shopping services needed. No concerns if your transportation is limited for a period of time. Plenty of garage parking along with night security. I would definitely recommend this property.

It used to be nice, but not anymore. It has got worse. My upstairs neighbor is constantly lifting and slamming what sounds like some weight equipment. It creates a sound so loud that it vibrates my floor. Mani also observed it during a maintenance session that took place on 5/27/2020. I have called the office on several occasions and reported it to no avail.

So far it's been okay, parking structure is a nightmare. Office staff is very nice and extremely helpful. Tenants are too loud and rude, a freight elevator would be great help!! Moving in was a hassle.

Loud motorcycles with no mufflers in the middle of the night continuously go up and down the parking structure setting off car alarms. 11pm, 2am, 4am, 6am. ALL NIGHT LONG. As every unit surrounds the parking structure you cannot escape. If you value your sleep city lights is the wrong place to live. Several complaints have been made to the do-nothing office workers. As far as they are concerned if you signed the lease then screw you they won't lift a finger about this or any of the many other problems such as the ongoing crime and vandalism from the 3rd worlders who took over this complex or the raw sewage that comes out of the pipes around here. I lived in two other complexes in Aliso Viejo. They weren't at all run like this dump.

Location is convenient but the apartments are old (kitchen and bathroom cabinets for example) for the rent cost. Staff is kind and the maintenance requests are solved in a timely manner. To pay online (most convenient way), you have to pay a fee otherwise you need to pay with a live check. The phone signal is not good around the community and often, inside the apartments unless your phone service includes calls with your wifi. The onsite gym offers daily fitness classes and that is a plus! The community is gated but that doesn't ensure safety because when non-residents want to enter the community they just park on the side of the entrance to wait for the next resident that has the garage key in their car and follow them. Your parking spot is covered and it is located on the same floor you live so that is helpful when you are moving in and out, have groceries, etc. And the buildings have elevators so that helps as well when needed. As most communities in Southern California, you may feel "squeezed" as there are many apartments which means many people living in the same place. There are fountains close to the buildings which help to block the noise from the many apartments next and around yours.

Do yourself a favor and keep looking at other apartments. Water pressure in the apartment horrible and then it wont drain. Every front door is spring loaded so they close by its self. These have never been adjusted so the doors SLAM shut. I can hear the doors slam from the master bedroom. The fountain seemed nice when we moved in, give it one month, you will wish every night that the motor on it breaks, it is annoyingly LOUD, I cant sleep with the window open in the summer because its SO LOUD. ZERO guest parking. At the end of my lease they wanted to raise the rent 10% from $1815 for 2bedroom 2 bathroom. I went down the street and rented A TOWN HOUSE for the amount City Lights wanted.

If you are one of the remaining American Citizens who hasn't yet fled Karachi Lights expect to be driven out by the horde of ILLEGAL ALIEN MUSLIMS who have taken over this complex with 8 to 12 living per unit. Their disdain for Americans couldn't be more clear. The Muslims will give you dirty looks, cut you off in the parking structure, follow you to your unit late at night, shout at you in @rabic when your back is turned, vandalize your car, etc. After January 20th make sure to call Homeland Security to arrest and deport these illegal invaders then lock yourself in your unit cause they definitely won't go quietly. 1-866-DHS-2ICE

Dog feces everywhere no matter a "dog building" or not. The smell of fresh and fermenting dog poo and urine is saturated into the cement, walls, grass, literally everwhere. I live in a non-dog building yet there is constant barking since city lights does nothing about it. It is loud since the construction is cheap and walls are paper-thin. Watch where you step around here because you can't help but step on a dog crap land mine eventually. Disgusting place to call home.

Several extremely loud motorcycles with no mufflers are allowed to disturb every resident at all hours, i.e. 11pm, 3am, 5am. The noise is so loud it sets off at least 4 or 5 car alarms as they purposely rev the bikes as loud as possible. The dbag "staff" as they call themselves on this site with their fake 5 star reviews does absolutely nothing to stop this even though dozens of residents complain they are getting no sleep because of this. Sometimes they will ride right in front of the do-nothing office workers without zero concern they will do anything because they don't. These are loser tattoo meth dealers in their stupid biker gang outfits doing this at throughout the day and night. Good job Shea Properties

I don't know what's worse, all the ------- ------- who live here or the scores of Tattooed Drug Addicts. Although this place is supposed to be non-smoking everyone knows that's a joke because it reeks of cigarette smoke creeping through your closed doors and windows. Often it is marijuana smoke coming into my unit. I'll probably fail my next drug test because the second hand smoke is unending. Last night i heard screaming for her life coming from one of the ------ neighbors who always wears a full burka. I think he was beating his wife/first cousin. Yes that's what these freaks actually do, marry their family members. Can't wait to move.

There is nothing good about this place. Organized crime (standing post cell phone in hand reporting your every move) the most ------ place I have ever had to submit my family to. Management allowed illegal immigrants to move in with out a driver s license, roaches, ants galore, and much much more! If your child is a caring, smart, and giving person you will destroy them here. And there parents act no better then they do. Most are uneducated, druggies. So you are looking to destroy your the next year of your life this is the place for you! It is so wonderful you will avoid visits from friends and family. Its perfect living for thieves though! Live here at your own risk. You live, and die by your own decisions..

$82 a month water bill here at City Lights. Are you kidding me? Total scam! I just moved here from another apartment complex here in Aliso Viejo 6 months ago and my bill was only $8/month as it is anywhere except at City Lights. I even got 3 eviction notices on my door from these clowns when i wasn't even late paying the bill saying I didn't pay it the previous month even though it was deducted from my checking account. The water company's name even sounds like a scam, Conservice. Literally a bunch of con artists. I heard from neighbors there are ongoing water leaks in just about every unit here due to faulty construction and they spend thousands repiping the leaky units. I just moved here why am i covering the cost of this? Total scam!

THE LITTLE MIDDLE EAST. Why does the most expensive apartment complex in aliso viejo have by far the largest number of ILLEGAL ALIEN MUSLIMS living here? Because city lights is the only place that takes welfare vouchers from middle eastern "refugees". People living in aliso viejo call this place The Little Middle East. Many of these freaks actually slum through the complex wearing full burkas where you only see their eyes. Scary.
