This property is filthy and disgusting and run by dishonest, rude and deceitful staff. There are major problems with pests, infrastructure, and design that make it impossible to safely live here. I have experienced roaches, transients, faulty wiring, and a spotlight deliberately designed to shine in the only bedroom in the unit during the night. Staff is rude, unresponsive and unprofessional.

This became home, I made friends with all my neighbors and enjoyed living there for 8 years. It was awesome to workout and not have to wait for the treadmill like you have to at a big gym. The pool area was always clean and people were so friendly.

Good location. Size of the apartment is spacious. Dog park is not maintained well, the fountain seems to be broken all the time. The main gate is broken. The washers have been out of service for 2 weeks.

Totally not kids friendly... you don't want to live here with your kids... especially if ur kids r below 2 yrs... I had an horrific experience with people living in E block.. they get drunk and start banging the floor from below and say this the revenge for your son playing during the day time... they expect me to keep my son on leash and not let him play in my house for which I pay a rent of $2000... And management is not worried abt any of these... don't rent these apartment..

This place looks pretty and nice on the outside. When you actually live here and see how fake the appearance really is then you will regret as much as I do ever tying here. The hottest week of the month this summer and the air conditioner broke, the company took there sweet time getting it repaired when it became a health concern being in 115 degree weather and a child in the home. This company's disregard for their tenants needs is a serious concern. They also have an infestation of roaches which needs to be addressed.

I live here. Management is not properly taking care of the roach problem. It's been a month of spraying and all the roaches are getting more aggressive. New management is not taking care of the problem. ROACHES ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I lived in this complex for 2 years and thank god I don't need to see them anymore. The worst person is one of the managers. you never wanna deal with him after you signed your contract! (before signing, everything looks perfect). They will empty your pocket as much as they can. I wouldn't pay them my last month rent if I knew they deserve people like themselves...

management does not care when i have complaint about neighbors being loud with music, neighbors smoking pot all day and it gets inside my apt through the vents , Ac unit problems, roaches, or pot smell in the hallways. My car was damaged from workers that come work on the units and I reported it and they did not even apologized. The hallways smell bad like cigarettes and marijuana. You see roaches climbing your balcony. I cannot wait until my lease is done. I want to move out of here ASAP.

STAY AWAY from here. This place is full of roaches. Manager is very unreasonable and uncivilized. She has no idea about how to run a complex. they advertise for two pools but there is only one pool. One pool is not even use able. ( False advertising ) the manager thinks she is smart and doesnt respect anyone. I saw she mock people over their look, ARE YOU SERIOUS ? And apparantly she started to towing cars who " doesnt have premit " if she look at the parking register log she would see that some parking are registered and premit was issued but she is so sight blinded that you have to display the premit on the car. I personally dont like to put a sticker on my car. I dont like other people know where i live. That is too much to ask. If you need to live somewhere hassle free this is not a good place for you. Stay away. She is full of hassle.

This place is an absolute rat's nest. We lived here within the last year and it is the nastiest, most ------ apartment that I have ever lived in. To be fair, let me list both pros and cons. Lets start with the Pros: Dog friendly, they have a nice little dog park area; prices are affordable for the area; nice gym; very nice when you first move in Negatives: roaches everywhere, every morning; parking spots are unmarked, management doesn't know who's spot is who; buildings reek of cigarette smoke; trash laying around complex everywhere; maintenance does not clean up property; packages stolen from front doors on a regular basis and office will not accept packages there; management will not return calls and are very rude after they get you locked in; residents leave security gates pried open with objects allowing trash to roam around the complex at all hours of the night; walls are paper thin, can hear next door neighbor's conversations; I could keep going, but it would take me all night

Cockroaches are tolerable. But the bed bugs are another story. This is recent, too many apartment units to control the bug problem. I will not be renewing my lease and don't recommend it. Beautiful grounds are making up for pest issue.

If you can live without internet, this is a good place to live, but if you want to be connected to the others stay away from them! I was sooooo happy when I signed the contract but after 2,3 weeks now I'm thinking about moving out of here! I need internet, but it's not available here. I've asked verizon, time warner, dish and at&t, just at&t said that we provide services in your area, they came here 2 times and they said, it's not possible to get the signal!!!! No internet??? R u kidding? How can I live here?????

I lived in the Mercer for about 6 months and left. This place is a joke. ------ is a -----, rude and very disrespectful towards tenants. As far as I am concerned she should not be in that job or anywhere around civilized people. They change the price of your rent every month, losing documents and covering up their asses is what they do best. As for you the tenants its all bad. When I left they charged me 1200 for carpet 500 for counter reglazing and 300 for painting. On top of them charging me for months i was never there. Including water and trash and late fees but never no 3 day notices and no phone calls. TO THIS DAY I can still enter the property with my gate code!!!!! And for ------ she makes it clear that everyone knows she ------------- and she can do what she wants because she is a leasing agent. Horrible, Horrible management and horrible book keeping.

Horrible management. Most office bearers don't know what their job function is and even if they do, they chose not to do it. The Move-in and Move-out procedures are excrutiatingly painful. The apartment itself is good but I wouldn't go their because of the management.

I HAVE LIVED IN THE MERCER APARTMENTS SINCE AUGUST OF THIS YEAR. AND THERE IS ONLY ONE UNPLEASANT PERSON ON THIER STAFF. TENOA THE LEASING MANAGER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO TENANTS APPROPRIATLY, AND SPEAKS TO ME LIKE I AM A CHILD. NOT ONLY IS SHE THREATENING MYSELF, BUT SHE HAS ALSO TAKEN PICTURES OF MY PATIO WITHOUT MY PERMISSION FROM A NEIGHBORING PATIO. NOT ONLY IS THIS A VIOLATION OF PRIVACY, BUT THERE IS NOTHING THAT WARRENTS HER TO DO SO. SHE HAS TRIED TO PULL THIS OFF WITH ME BEFORE AND I HAVE TOLD HER SHE NEEDS TO SPEAK TO ME LIKE AN ADULT, BUT CLEARLY SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THAT.

Is there a single word to describe hell? The entire complex wreaks. Forget the new brick facade. It's like a facelift on a person who is a breath away from the grave. There are feces all over outside (hopefully not human) roaches, rouches, rouches... I even know of one resident who had mushrooms growing on an ins

I have lived here 17 years. Though there have been many problems in the past with other management, I now find this management to be good. When I call in a maintenance request, it is fixed quickly. When I call in because the air conditioning on the roof is not working and needs to be reset, it is done quickly. Maintenance men are very nice, especially Hugo and Ernesto. To be honest, I haven't met Amber the manager but am told she is very nice.

I have never lived in a apartment, but due to the economy we had no choice. I REALLY, REALLY recommend that you should come and see these apartments. I lived in the same house my entire life. I was really scared to moved to a apartment, but after looking at 35 apartments in Woodland Hills, I found the Mercer Apartments. our apt. is so clean and very new feeling. I have been here since June 22nd, 2012 and I love it. When we were showed this apt. around the begging of June and that time is was still managed by these very unprofessional office people which really made me nervous, but then like over night, there now is the most wonderful management. I love living here, and I highly recommend The Mercer and call it home.
