So far my experience has been great. Nice area, friendly people and there's a lot of great locations that's easy to walk to such as restaurants and shopping malls. Also, you have everything one would need surrounding the community. Gas station, liquor store, freeway, etc..

High cost just because of location. Management is trying to renovate and update whatever is possible , but this is old community. Work orders are not done in a timely manner. Some staff members are rude sometimes. Washing machines in our laundry room often out of service and not getting fixed for weeks, like now 4 out of 5 machines are out of order

This property is filthy and disgusting and run by dishonest, rude and deceitful staff. There are major problems with pests, infrastructure, and design that make it impossible to safely live here. I have experienced roaches, transients, faulty wiring, and a spotlight deliberately designed to shine in the only bedroom in the unit during the night. Staff is rude, unresponsive and unprofessional.

This became home, I made friends with all my neighbors and enjoyed living there for 8 years. It was awesome to workout and not have to wait for the treadmill like you have to at a big gym. The pool area was always clean and people were so friendly.

Good location. Size of the apartment is spacious. Dog park is not maintained well, the fountain seems to be broken all the time. The main gate is broken. The washers have been out of service for 2 weeks.

Totally not kids friendly... you don't want to live here with your kids... especially if ur kids r below 2 yrs... I had an horrific experience with people living in E block.. they get drunk and start banging the floor from below and say this the revenge for your son playing during the day time... they expect me to keep my son on leash and not let him play in my house for which I pay a rent of $2000... And management is not worried abt any of these... don't rent these apartment..

This place looks pretty and nice on the outside. When you actually live here and see how fake the appearance really is then you will regret as much as I do ever tying here. The hottest week of the month this summer and the air conditioner broke, the company took there sweet time getting it repaired when it became a health concern being in 115 degree weather and a child in the home. This company's disregard for their tenants needs is a serious concern. They also have an infestation of roaches which needs to be addressed.

I live here. Management is not properly taking care of the roach problem. It's been a month of spraying and all the roaches are getting more aggressive. New management is not taking care of the problem. ROACHES ALL OVER THE PLACE.

I lived in this complex for 2 years and thank god I don't need to see them anymore. The worst person is one of the managers. you never wanna deal with him after you signed your contract! (before signing, everything looks perfect). They will empty your pocket as much as they can. I wouldn't pay them my last month rent if I knew they deserve people like themselves...

management does not care when i have complaint about neighbors being loud with music, neighbors smoking pot all day and it gets inside my apt through the vents , Ac unit problems, roaches, or pot smell in the hallways. My car was damaged from workers that come work on the units and I reported it and they did not even apologized. The hallways smell bad like cigarettes and marijuana. You see roaches climbing your balcony. I cannot wait until my lease is done. I want to move out of here ASAP.

All these reviews are so unjustified it is sad! NONE of the people are telling the truth regarding what the situation is at The Reserve at Warner Center. The complex has been fighting a issue that they received once they took over ownership from all of the FIVE previous owners who did not care nor did they take care of the community. The company was tried to upgrade amenities that were broken and out dated and the us the residents were unable to use. The company has tried to better parking since people from other communities were parking in the parking lot in our parking spaces!! The company has hired a pest control company to visit to complex weekly to stop a problem that some of the residents who do not clean their homes are making. They cannot force people to clean their homes or throw trash away timely. And if they would take months to even get one resident out of the unit. There are abousely no homeless that even get onto the property because the company has a courtesy patrol company that walks the community to ensure this does not happen. And if it does the officer escorts the persons off property. Which I have personally witness myself, people even getting kicked out of the pool area during night hours!!!! Parking permits are issued to us as neighbors so we know that a car is approved to park. If you do not display your parking permit how is that the managers fault! The patrol is advised to tow cars off property that do not display the permit. The fault is being placed on the office who try to make our community a better place. I'm going to start asking my neighbors who actually love it here and who have had great experience with the office to start yelping because again.... This sadden me to see how unfairly and unjustified the team is being perceived to be! The Reserve is trying to make it a happy community and I am happy to live here!

STAY AWAY from here. This place is full of roaches. Manager is very unreasonable and uncivilized. She has no idea about how to run a complex. they advertise for two pools but there is only one pool. One pool is not even use able. ( False advertising ) the manager thinks she is smart and doesnt respect anyone. I saw she mock people over their look, ARE YOU SERIOUS ? And apparantly she started to towing cars who " doesnt have premit " if she look at the parking register log she would see that some parking are registered and premit was issued but she is so sight blinded that you have to display the premit on the car. I personally dont like to put a sticker on my car. I dont like other people know where i live. That is too much to ask. If you need to live somewhere hassle free this is not a good place for you. Stay away. She is full of hassle.

This place is an absolute rat's nest. We lived here within the last year and it is the nastiest, most ------ apartment that I have ever lived in. To be fair, let me list both pros and cons. Lets start with the Pros: Dog friendly, they have a nice little dog park area; prices are affordable for the area; nice gym; very nice when you first move in Negatives: roaches everywhere, every morning; parking spots are unmarked, management doesn't know who's spot is who; buildings reek of cigarette smoke; trash laying around complex everywhere; maintenance does not clean up property; packages stolen from front doors on a regular basis and office will not accept packages there; management will not return calls and are very rude after they get you locked in; residents leave security gates pried open with objects allowing trash to roam around the complex at all hours of the night; walls are paper thin, can hear next door neighbor's conversations; I could keep going, but it would take me all night

Cockroaches are tolerable. But the bed bugs are another story. This is recent, too many apartment units to control the bug problem. I will not be renewing my lease and don't recommend it. Beautiful grounds are making up for pest issue.

If you can live without internet, this is a good place to live, but if you want to be connected to the others stay away from them! I was sooooo happy when I signed the contract but after 2,3 weeks now I'm thinking about moving out of here! I need internet, but it's not available here. I've asked verizon, time warner, dish and at&t, just at&t said that we provide services in your area, they came here 2 times and they said, it's not possible to get the signal!!!! No internet??? R u kidding? How can I live here?????

This would be a great place to live except for 1 major flaw. The previous owner of the Reserve at Warner Center, formerly the Mercer at Warner Center signed a contract with a company that provides internet, land line phone and TV service called Consolidated Smart Systems. We have lived in this building for 4 years and when we first moved in we signed with Consolidated Smart Systems. Which of course required a 2 year contract. We soon realized, however, that the service they provide is subpar at best. The internet constantly goes in and out or slows down to barely anything. The phone service is staticy, often drops calls, and sometimes the service cuts out completely and you can't get phone calls in or out. The TV service isn't bad but you're only allowed to have DirectTV. Time Warner does service this area, but is banned from this complex due to the contract. For us, once our contract was up, we decided it was time for a change. We canceled our Direct TV and no longer have TV service at all, and attempted to switch our internet and phone service over to AT&T. The contract makes it so you cannot get any other TV service other than Direct TV. For home phone and internet you do have an option of going with AT&T and that is the only other option you can have. The phone service from AT&T, though offered is impossible to get. Despite many attempts from reps coming to our apartment the signal just flat out wouldn't come through and we couldn't even get a dial tone. We ended up giving up on having a landline and now only use our cell phones. The internet service is a huge problem. The cables for the complex are all located in the parking area and from there are looped through to each apartment. They are old and very corroded and the new management, despite the fact that they are willing to spend the money to tear apart all the walls and apartments to remodel them, will NOT take the time or spend the money to update the cables. AT&T service suffers because of this. Though they offer a high speed package of up to 12 megs download (which is bad enough as it is, considering cable internet download speeds can reach up to 100 mb down), you can't get even the 12 mb download speed to work at this complex. Attempting this only makes the service unstable and often you end up with no more than 1 or 2 mb down. The only way to stabilize the service is to lower the speed package down to 6 mb down, and even then what you actually get is between 4 and 5.5. This is extremely unacceptable, and it's all in the name of forcing people to choose the poor service provided by Consolidated Smart Systems over the even poorer service from AT&T in order for the owner to make that much more in kick backs per new Consolidated Smart Systems customer.

I lived in the Mercer for about 6 months and left. This place is a joke. ------ is a -----, rude and very disrespectful towards tenants. As far as I am concerned she should not be in that job or anywhere around civilized people. They change the price of your rent every month, losing documents and covering up their asses is what they do best. As for you the tenants its all bad. When I left they charged me 1200 for carpet 500 for counter reglazing and 300 for painting. On top of them charging me for months i was never there. Including water and trash and late fees but never no 3 day notices and no phone calls. TO THIS DAY I can still enter the property with my gate code!!!!! And for ------ she makes it clear that everyone knows she ------------- and she can do what she wants because she is a leasing agent. Horrible, Horrible management and horrible book keeping.

Horrible management. Most office bearers don't know what their job function is and even if they do, they chose not to do it. The Move-in and Move-out procedures are excrutiatingly painful. The apartment itself is good but I wouldn't go their because of the management.

My mom lived there for 15 years but at the time it was an all seniors building. Even at that time they did little to help fixing things. Her parking space was a joke and we had many dents due to it's location. it was also under a tree that took the pain off the car but they refused to move her space or address this. She now finds that this is the only place she can live after leave for 10 years as they have stall showers and she is 96. When I tried to move her in I has given a specific price if she signed a 15 month lease. I had been going back and forth as she was in the hospital and I was recovering from chemo. I came to leave a deposit but they refused to take it. They had a meeting and I needed to fill out papers so come back tomorrow. When I came back none of those people were there. The woman said she was the manager and the price was 50 more. She was rude and the guy that I had never seen was also rude. I said I would wait until Monday but she said the price goes up everyday. Who ever heard of prices going up everyday. I called on Monday and found someone that was in charge and explained. They remembered me but still insisted the price went up everyday and they were sorry. I had no choice but when I came to pay the guy that was there over the weekend kept hanging up on me and not buzzing me in the gate. After the 3rd time Erin answered and she buzzed me in. So far the bathroom facet does not work. There is no toilet paper rack. The refrigerator is missing a rack and it freezes everything and one of the vertical blind is broken and this is the new section. She has been waiting a week. The manager is a racist, has problems with elderly people and is also biased on you religion. The parking space was moved but they are not ever double lines so getting in and out without getting some damage on your car is difficult. If not you then someone else with have the same issue and hit you.

honesly this is the worst place i have ever lived, i just moved here and there are roaches everywhere, i asked about the bugs and they said every place is sprayed before you move in. I ahve found people in the trash can YES IN THE TRASH, the gates are not locked, doors are open to public, i was told it was a sceure property, i would of never moved here if i sw what i have seen in this past few weeks. Kids rule the parking lot, on toys in and out of cars, screaming and no parents to speak to, there is no security til about 9 pm and they dont do much at all. I ahve had to stay home for maintaince to fix items and they have had to come back more then once for the same item. Maintaince said its an old biulding and built poorly, thats why the mirror closets never stay on the track and people hanging there undies on the patio for everyone to see, that not ok in any way. if a manager had to stay here stuff would change i have asked the pest control man he said all building need to be tented but it costs to much, its sick to hear about bed bugs on the second floor. The hallways smells horrible no air circulation at all, smells horrible in certain spots. the bbq i was told are cleaned everyday , everytime i use it its dirty and i needed to buy a cleaner, i was told they do that. i have to pay an animal fee when a neighbor told me the person who signed them told them not to put add the snimals on there. thats cool for them but they wont call for roaches due to the animals and mangement will never get this fixed. i have lost money and was warned by my boss if i need to take anymore time off for the maintance. i have had lack of sleep, if you want drama and like nasty living then move in here, but if you save your money to live in a nice place get a moving crew and move inn and find roaches them save yourself the stress, cause now i need to save up for movers and a new place, new depostit, and you can only get there cable company, i paid for instal, new phone, internet wifi, all stuff and now gotta do it all over i paid extra for the newer brick building when roaches are everywhere....now i am speaking to the heath department this is not ok and i just want to live in peace with no bugs and mangement to call back and assit the tenants. oh and laundry i do offsite i lost my clothes....Great area just wish it was a ncie place i would of stayed for a long time..CLEAN UP YOUR ACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I HAVE LIVED IN THE MERCER APARTMENTS SINCE AUGUST OF THIS YEAR. AND THERE IS ONLY ONE UNPLEASANT PERSON ON THIER STAFF. TENOA THE LEASING MANAGER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK TO TENANTS APPROPRIATLY, AND SPEAKS TO ME LIKE I AM A CHILD. NOT ONLY IS SHE THREATENING MYSELF, BUT SHE HAS ALSO TAKEN PICTURES OF MY PATIO WITHOUT MY PERMISSION FROM A NEIGHBORING PATIO. NOT ONLY IS THIS A VIOLATION OF PRIVACY, BUT THERE IS NOTHING THAT WARRENTS HER TO DO SO. SHE HAS TRIED TO PULL THIS OFF WITH ME BEFORE AND I HAVE TOLD HER SHE NEEDS TO SPEAK TO ME LIKE AN ADULT, BUT CLEARLY SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THAT.

Is there a single word to describe hell? The entire complex wreaks. Forget the new brick facade. It's like a facelift on a person who is a breath away from the grave.
