Terrible management, read carefully!
I'm a current resident that is willing to pay the $4700 lease break fee to get out. That's right $4700 and 60 days notice to get out of a lease. Ridiculous, huh?

Management is rude, the folks in the office are unprepared, never seem to have a decent answer, and always have to "get back to you".

To cite an example of the poor grounds crew, after moving in to our apartment our hot water wasn't hot so they came down, 'bypassed' the thermostat, and turned the temperature so that it scalds. My two year old son really appreciates that while washing his hands. Another incident was when the snow removal crew literally burried one of our vehicles with snow. We've got some great photos of that one.

Another issues is that the floor/ceiling is sub-par for a crack house. You can actually hear people peeing upstairs, not to mention the stomping.

I'd mention the apartment below us that's been vacant for four monthes due to a mold problem, but we're considering growing mushrooms in the nice damp atmosphere...

Parking is a joke. Granted we have a garage, which one of us uses, the other sometimes has to park over 100 yards due to the location of our building.

Mailboxes: The mailboxes have been broken into several times and all we get is a letter from the office (on I'd guess recycled paper, cheap bass-turds) notifying that we may have been victims and to check our account statements. Gee thanks! Maybe if you fixed the gates on our supposed "secure complex", mail theft wouldn't be as issue!

These gatherings that were posted earlier are a joke. They've had two, the first one they ran out of food. The second we elected to stay home and not risk being embarassed by begging in the soup line for food.

The ammenities are crap. The pool was recently heated..for a few weeks, then mysteriously went back to being cold, no, freezing. The hot tub was actually colder than the pool recently.

The main roads to get in and out might as well be renamed "Camden Speedway" and there are no speedbumps anywhere on the property. This is an issue for us as we have a young child. Consider this if you have children.

Ammenities are lacking. One of the other Camden places has an indoor basketball court as well as a pool table lounge, this one has "Dodge the dog crap lawn area". You can't miss it, it's everywhere there is grass.

Enough of my rant, please consider some of these issues before you sign that lease. Also, make them put in an early termination clause, just in case!
"SERENDIPITOUS EXPERIENCE"
Michelle Leatherwood went above and beyond the call of duty to secure my aparment and for those of my workers as well. She was courteous, friendly and very professional. I have lived in camden for over a year and the experience is difficult at best. There were spiderwebs and leaves surrounding my porch that had been there for the entire length of my stay. The building itself never ever gets cleaned. When the security gates break (which happens almost weekly) they will stay broken (and wide open) for weeks at a time. Nobody in the community should have to address those kinds of issues to management individually.

Noise problems are dealt with ambiguously and never seem to be resolved. If you don't have any disagreements with the office they are very sweet but any disagreements and they are very unprofessional (curt, condescending, unilateral, illogical, hypocritical).

The rates for these apartments online do not match what is on the paper in the leasing office and there is typically a 200 dollar difference (not in the renter's favor) between what you see online and whats on the paper in the leasing office. I was paying 110 dollars more for my apartment than the highest rate they give on the websites. Do I get 10% raises every year? Not even when I exceed expectations, which this place certainly does not.

Safety? I see lots of barbecue grills on balconies. (The community has a gas grill that usually has no gas.) That broken gate left open is hardly what i'd call 'safe' but then the community itself is why the place is so safe, not the complex itself. People drive way too fast in the complex and there are a lot of blind corners. It's a dangerous place for children.

I am sure that there are a few people who have had no troubles and love the place but i am VERY suspicious of a review that says "ignore what everyone else writes" and "I know I sound like a manager" as if they are trying to negate bad reviews and theirs is the only opinion that matters.

I don't mind saying the people in the office are *exactly* the kind of people that would write shining reviews of their complex to offset the negative reviews, but the reviews speak for themselves, and if everybody loved this complex they wouldn't be scoring in the 30s and wouldn't all be pointing out the same shortcomings now would they?

Read Carefully! This place is wonderful!
I lived in Camden for a year, and my experience was wonderful. The place was kept in great condition; all of my concerns were tended to quickly, with care, and with great resolve; and the office staff was nothing but nice.

Read these postings carefully. First of all, by law, deposits must be returned within 60 days. How could they "gouge" you for more money three or four months after you have moved out?! You would already have received what was left of your deposit back! Second of all, I find it suspicious that these individuals who are complaining (in a not-so-eloquent manner) have failed to mention that upper management, outside of this property, has treated them poorly. I can only conclude that this is because they have not taken the time to voice their complaints to any else. Were they legitimately wronged, upper management would have compensated them accordingly. I can further conclude, therefore, that their own shortcomings are the reason for name-calling on an anonymous website.

In a safer, cleaner, out-of-the-way area like Highlands Ranch, the prices for these apartments are incredible. They charge you a minimum garbage and water fee, and if you have a pet, there is a reasonable and understandable pet deposit. There are no hidden fees or lies. The staff even puts together community events, such as pool parties and chili cookoffs. In addition, some of these events offer money off on one month's rent as a prize.

It may sound as though I am a manager trying to pump up the property, but I was a resident that was completely happy with my living situation. Many of the problems that people are whining about are specifically covered in the contract you sign upon moving in. Perhaps reading this contract would alleviate some of the misconceptions about "lies" that really don't exist.

If you are an adult, who pays rent on time, actually cleans the apartment when you leave, and treats the office staff with respect (as opposed to lashing out with condesending, rude comments), you will love living here. The staff will treat you with the same respect and tend to your needs as necessary. The property itself is beautifully landscaped and offers a pool, workout facility, and plenty of parking.

As I said, read these posts carefully, and you will find the flaws and unfounded accusations to be obvious. If these anonymous, cussing "mongrels" were truly taken advantage of, I think that they would have taken the time to write a well thought out complaint (instead of an elementary, obscene rant) that voices true concern for someone thinking about moving in here. I loved living here and would recommend it to anyone!

a fine place to live
I moved into Creekside about 9 months ago and it's been a good experience overall. The staff is polite, maintenance is pretty good, and the apartments are really nice. I haven't had any major problems, but I'm sure they would be taken care of. My only complaint is that I couldn't sign a lease longer than 12 months, but I'm sure I'll renew. Don't pay too close attention to all of the complaints on this. The office has been very up front and honest.

Worst experience in renting ever!
The management is rude. They lie on a regular basis not only before you move in, but after as well. The only interest here is squeezing every dollar out the tenants. Unprofessional behavior is an understatement. Maintenance is a nightmare, from shoveling in the winter, to repairing problems with the buildings and changing gate codes. If you want to be ignored and talked down to, this is the place.

Great Place!
We love the fact that the community is always in great condition, the apartment is new, and the location is out of the way. The staff has been helpful and accomodating on many occations. No complaints!

BAD MANAGEMENT!!!!
This apartment complex gouges you with their continous fees and unreasonable requests. The prices are outrageously high, the managment is suffering, and the staff is rude and very unprofessional. The office is ran by a bunch of women that seem to judge you from the moment you walk in. I highly urge you to seek residency elsewhere!!!! If you want to enjoy your living area, and be happy writting that check every month, DON´T MOVE HERE!!!

Do not move here unless you have money to waist!!!
I have never lived or been in a place that the Managment would lie to your face. I thought that as the customer that I would at the very least be appreciated, After all I am paying good money to live here. I would recomend that you not lokk at this complex or this company! Since the very first day the managment has never come through on what they have promissed. First, They pulled a bate and switch when I whet in to sign a lease. Second, They will bill you for issuse that apply to the apartment 2 to 3 months after you move out!!! These people are pure evil. I would strongly recomend that you NEVER look at a Camden property anywhere.

Unsatisfactory
1. Management not responsive to
clean-up requests - Example being bird
droppings on stairs
2. Pricing too expensive with teaser rates
offered and extraordinary penalties for
early termination

Poor management
I would not recommend these apartments to anyone due to the poor management. Once you sign the lease you are no longer worthy of their attention. They are not very responsive to concerns raised and are extremely slow in responding to maintenance calls.

We enjoyed living here
We were treated very fairly by the mgmt, but they weren´t flexible about their month to month rates. We got a special 3 month rate for a 2 BR apartment of $890, but when we needed to extend to month to month, they wanted a rate of $1435, and if that meant we needed to move, they didn´t care. We did get all of our deposit back, so they were fair about how clean we left the apartment.

Would never live here again!!
We have lived in the 2br/2ba unit on the 3rd floor. We have a wonderful view but the overall apartment quality is undesirable. The management here has been totally unprofessional and they don´t get repairs done in a timely manner. They also don´t have proper areas for pet walking or clean-up for the pets. They are inconsistent in management policies as well. I WOULD NOT recommend renting at Camden Creekside again.
