Love the location; maintenance guys are super; some office staff are not always on top of things although one has been very helpful with a noise problem. Would like to see exterior of buildings, especially windows, power-washed now and then; it is impossible to get the outside of the windows clean!

Although I looked at...
Although I looked at a couple of other complexes before seeing Creekside, the location, VIEWS, different apt sizes available and amenities offered made this situation my best choice.

Renovated apartments...
Renovated apartments are nice. If necessary to go month to month Greystar sticks it to you at the tune of $500 more a month. As long as you know your length of time this is fine place to stay.

I just moved into my apartment here and absolutely love it! Everything about the complex is top of the line. The pool, fitness center, hot tub, and the units themselves. Paul the assistant manager was/is so helpful and readily accessible with every single request or need I've ever had. All of my maintenance requests have been handled immediately! I love how quiet, clean, and peaceful this neighborhood is. I love my neighbors and I absolutely love my place! Coming from downtown, I am consistently amazed at what I get for my money at Creekside. I got a great deal by securing my lease in advance. I continue to be impressed and love coming home. I would recommend this place to everyone :)

I have lived at Creekside - Highlands Ranch for about a month & have found my 1 bedroom apartment to be very comfortable & just the right size (840 sq ft)for me. Paul the Assistant Manager, was extremely helpful & professional in showing me a couple of the newly renovation units available from which I chose the Buttermilk. He got me through the credit check & necessary paperwork in good order. It has met my goals & priorities: Gated & Secure, Private Garage w/stairs to front door, All new Carpet & Flooring & Stainless Steel Appliances, Designer Paint, Nice sized Balcony/Patio, Large Bathroom W/Walk in Closet. The Club House to Beautiful with a Lounge area, Business Center & Work Out Room with all new Equipment. The Swimming Pool & Hot Tub are up and running in Great Shape! Landscaping is mature and well maintained.

I have lived at Creekside for over 6 years now. I have had a wonderful time living here. I have had great neighbors and been able to work with the staff real well. I haven't had any problems here at all. My first few apartments were nightmares, but I've been happy living here. Great location to many stores and restaurants. The maintenance has been great and been able to fix everything I need on time and so that I don't need it fixed again. A great place to live with a lot of friendly neighbors, staff and maintenance crew.

The office staff is nice when you want to rent but after your in it all changes. There is no privacy, these people come into your apartment to spy on you. Yesterday there was a note on my door that I have two weeks to remove my personal belonings from my garage because its for cars only. When I was looking for an apartment the office was well aware that we were downsizing from a house and the main reason we picked this place was the attached garage. They went into my garage without permission. Weeks before, they came into my apartment unannounced presumably for an inspection, however, our smoke detectors were disconnected because the batteries were dead and setting off alarms - they were not touched but I wonder what was? Creepy. Our kitchen cabinets are so cheap they are falling apart. Our fridge freezes our food, our dishwasher throws food all over the dishes two maintenance calls later-still the same. There is nothing luxury about this place. Overpriced and creepy. What happened to my rights as a paying tenant for quiet enjoyment? The place is also not kid friendly. My son and his friends are constantly kicked out of the computer room and community center for no reason-they are polite and well behaved. We were going to stay another year and now I can't wait to get out of here.

As a short-term resident, and as far as apartment living goes, I think Creekside is a well-managed property. My requests have been responded to immediately and efficiently. The staff is friendly. The property, for the most part, is well maintained. My only complaints would be the parking and the trash situation. I park in my garage, like I'm supposed to. Many others don't. My husband has had to drive around waiting for someone to leave in order to park. Definitely not fun at the end of your workday. The trash is the one of the most disgusting situations I've ever seen. Obviously, more than one dumpster is needed or they need to more frequently compact the trash. I was told when I rented that there was a recycle container. There's not. I've lived at a sister property who had similar trash issues and they started having trash pick-up at your door 2 days a week for a nominal fee. That trash was immediately taken off property so the dumpsters didn't spill out everywhere. Just an idea.

I will temper this review by saying that at first (6 years ago), this property was perfect. The grounds were maintained and management made it a point to address concerns with due diligence and was quick. The biggest problem has always been parking because despite their "garage audits" (which are nothing more than notices that go out and not backed by action at all), parking is horrible. One guy uses his garage as a place to build toy trains, another uses it as a third bedroom or smoking room, and over half the people use it as storage. People are consistently parking in handicapped because there is no where else to park. The property over the last year or better, has gotten worse, there is a unit with visible exterior damage and debris left all around the unit. Maintenance will typically address your concerns quickly but doing it right the first time is hit or miss. They used to cherry pick which orders they'd do based upon the resident but thankfully that has stopped. Snow removal is hit or miss as well. Currently there is snow and ice everywhere and the sidewalks have not been touched. There was an elderly lady out shoveling her area because maintenance hadn't done it. I would have to say now that I'm less then impressed with this property and how it's being handled. Grounds typically have poop everywhere, the back area by the golf course, and the giant area over by the mailboxes where they dump snow are both filled with trash and have kids playing in them. Not the safest thing in the world. Grass is patchy, little details are not given attention they deserve. For the amount of rent that is charged (regardless of what the leasing office says about "market demands" and so on) does not match the level of service that you get at times. Paul, Whitney, and Joanna are great, why Paul isn't the manager of this place is beyond me, he should be. And stop bringing in these managers that are reclusive and do not talk to anyone (Like the current woman there). I've called this place home for over 6 years and this is the first year we've considered moving to the Shea property that is opening because we know that Shea would never let their properties go the way this property has.

Creekside at Highlands Ranch is an amazing community to live in. The staff is extremely helpful and informative, and has your best interest at heart (specifically Paul Castillo). Since I moved to the community in March of last year, I have been blown away at how clean they keep the property, and the value i get for my monthly rent. Any maintenance concerns were handled immediately and with a smile. I recommend this community to anyone and everyone looking for a clean, safe, and friendly place to live. I love Creekside and you will too!

I have lived at Creekside since 2008. They are very pet friendly and my cat and I love it here. I like to go down to the office and get a cup of coffee and enjoy some time in the clubhouse. I love that more than anything because I feel at home here. I feel safe, welcome and I would not consider moving out for any reason. I would actually feel depressed if I had to move out of Creekside. Every experience I have had here has been a positive one. When I pull into the community, there is even a sign that says welcome home and it makes me feel like Im "home". There is also always a super quick response on anythings that comes up. I dont know how it could get any better.

I have been living at Creekside @ HR for 5 weeks now. I have already had to make a complaint about the 2 dogs living above me that run and bark constantly, and sound like they are going to fall into my lap (poor insulation/construction or something). Dealt with Paul who said he spoke to the tenant and she apologized and told him she would keep it down. Well.....she didn't and hasnt kept it down. That isnt the real kicker though....in the 5 weeks I have been here I have waken up 3 times to NO hot water or heat. With snow on the ground and single digit wind chills.....it gets cold!! The first time I had no heat (still had hot water) I had to deal with a very bitter maintenance man who didnt even introdice himself when I opened the door at 530p on Sunday...he just walked right past me to the back bathroom (where the furnace is). That was my second night at the complex...I had no idea who this guy was initially. He fixed the problem eventually, but that was after an argument we had that he suggested it may have been working the whole time. Disclaimer: Im no furnace expert, but I know the difference between warm air and cold air when the thermo is up as high as it can go! I woke up yesterday (12/27) to absolutely no heat or hot water. I look in the water tank closet, and the tank is sitting in a pool of water and there is no sign of warmth coming through the taps or register. I spoke to Whitney, and she was very courteous and assured me the problem would be fixed. I get home at 3p, and sure enough the issue was fixed....once again I had heat and hot water! I woke up today (12/28) and once again, my water heater was floating in a pool of water, and I get no heat or hot shower. 3 times in 5 weeks i have had to deal with these issues. We'll see how todays call goes!!

Exceptional personal service. Our home nearby in Highlands Ranch suffered a major fire. We needed a quiet, well maintained apartment with good management to get us through the rebuild period. We found an excellent property with terrific management at Creekside. They helped us in every way through this difficult time. We looked at several rival properties and we were immediately sold on Creekside.

I lived at Creekside and found it to be a very well run apartment complex in one of the prettiest parts of the western slope. My apartment faced the golf course and it was well maintained and very spacious. All the appliances worked and if there was the least question about problems, the very professional staff made it right. One person in particular, Paul C. was instrumental in helping me find the right apartment, after my previous landlord, increased rates almost 20% after only 16 months. Paul helped me get a really great price on a nice one bedroom apartment and he made certain that it was carefully prepared for my move in. In addition to the natural beauty of the area, I think that Creekside is one of the best bargains in Highlands Ranch. And if Paul C. is there to help advise you, I am certain you will be very satisfied with the results.

overal positive experience
Overall I enjoyed Creekside. I lived there for almost 2 years and by far it was my favorite place to rent. Pros: Spacious apartment with attached garage. Quick fixes for any maintenance requests. Courteous staff. Cons: Noise from either construction or landscapping. It's can be challenging if you do shift work and sleep when they are using the leaf blowers or mowing, but that would occur at any apartment. I'd recommend this apartment.

Lackluster management
We've been here for a few years and aside from the ongoing maintenance, mediocre landscaping that often looks incomplete, the high number of "senior residents", and a management team that isn't very approachable... PARKING is absurd. Each year management sends out a notice telling folks to clean out their garages and so on. Yet no one does and it's not enforced. So the end result is rarely being able to park remotely close to your apartment, parking in handicapped, or parking in some other illegal area because people move in here and automatically use their garage as storage thus inconveniencing everyone else. I blame management and the residents equally but management should enforce the notifications they send out. RENT is obscenely high for what you truly get. Relatively outdated appliances, neighbors you cannot identify or want to socialize with, a leasing team that while serve as eyecandy for some, unfortunately lack that personable service that make residents feel like they are home and not a business commodity that is traded. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are over the age sixty, do not mind paying 1400 plus a month for rent, and can tolerate city-like parking. Perhaps if the staff were more personable and genuine, I could overlook the rest but they are not. Paul, in particular is an utter ---. Christie is unapproachable. Joanna is fair for the most part. Christie too if you could actually catch her long enough to talk to her. Manuel the maintenance guy is moody and temperamental so you never know which Manuel you are going to get when he comes to visit. Barry is another maintenance guy who is kind and follows through. Hope this helps?

Slow maintenance request service has become a problem in the past year. They used to respond same day or at the latest a day later. Now it often takes 2-3 days and sometimes you have to follow up to see what the deal is. Same managers and maintenance staff the past couple years, so not sure why they have become less prompt. Everyone is great on a personal level, just worse service.

Very poor experience
If you are on the first floor all I have to say is good luck. You'll be able to hear everything the neighbors do because of the poor construction. The manager on site is less than experienced to know how to handle situations. Way to many horrible things to say but some of the pictures should help you.

I have lived at this property for five years and I loved every minute of it. As much as I've loved living there, the moving out process has proven to be extremely unsatisfactory. I advised the property I was moving out and my pets are no longer living there in early July. Yet they are still charging me pet rent. They do not return my calls or e-mails, almost as though they have written me off. I had hoped if I ever returned to the area to move back into this property. Now, no way. Obviously they don't care about their tenants if they can't even bother to contact me to discuss the vacancy of my apartment after having lived there for five years. Therefore, I sadly recommend you do NOT move in to this community.

Kickin back at Creekside
When I moved into this area, I had absolutely no intention on making this Residency in Highlands Ranch a long term commitment. I'm laughing now 6 years later as I have resided at the Creekside Apartments ever since. Working in Outside Sales, its rare to find a place that is affordable, secure, convenient, and well maintained; and I wouldn't trade its location for the world, as I can be on C-470 in 2 minutes and virtualy anywhere in the greater metro area within a half hour. All that being said, the one thing that keeps me here more than all those previously listed is the staff. As a 36 year old single male and a Company Owner, its really nice to have someone you can rely on to make sure your life at home is secure; which is easy with the level of customer service and genuine respect that I receive from the office managers and staff alike. To be completely honest, they are the closest thing I have to family in Colorado, and they are a big part of the reason Creekside has continued to add value to my life for the past 6 years. Thank you.
